Vinca found herself tripping over the massive set of eyes staring at her, fumbling back a step, though quick to recompose thanks to her wings. Not only did they seem way to big for her face, but they way they sparkled in intrigue made her feel like she was going to be on display. At the very least, though, the genasi caught it herself and cleaned up, lifting up the goggles and having a more approachable look.

With the table cleared up, Vinca hopped in and fluttered away towards it, though the heat was quick to hit as she quickly felt the sweat hit her brow, making her hope her crown would hold together. Once she had landed, she waved her hands before procuring what seemed to have been a hand crossbow with some homemade modifications (as in the lack of a trigger and bolt zone and instead replaced with a staff crystal at the tip) bound together by twine… At least for the genasi's hands. As for someone the size of Vinca, it would be like holding a cannon!

"You see, I had been experimenting with alternate ways of casting magic, and thus procured this and… well… may have tried my own hand at making modifications…" It was hard to keep Scarlett eye to eye as, when the Keeper examined it, it was such a flimsy job that it was a surprise it had not exploded in her hands… an aspect easily denoted if the twine was undone and re-inspected. "Clearly, something I should have left to more of a professional, but that is why Lord Adraejen had recommended your name."

With another wave of the hand, she summoned forth another object: a small plank of witchwood. "He gave this to me to use as a base, but going any further would be outside my range of comfort if my previous work is to be believed. This should not be too troubling of a task, should it not?"

The merchant wasn't too concerned when the fairy waved the coins into existence. It made perfect sense to him that she would have to pull her money from some other pocket dimension; a single coin would prove too heavy for her to fly with.

"Happy to help, Miss!" he said and gave her a polite wave before he went back to work.

"Hmmm?" The Genasi looked up through her magnifying goggles, her amethyst eyes appearing to be the size of teacups. Looking up at the fairy and realizing that she was still wearing her goggles made her start, those butterfly wings were absolutely amazing up close. Mesmerizing. She shook her head, shaking the thoughts away and she lifted the goggles from her face and nestled them on top of her nest of curly red hair.

"Aye, that would be me. So, the Keeper sent yeh my way? How kind of him to send me business," she said with a bright smile. She brushed her project aside and looked the fairy over. "So, what's the job? Clients sent by the Gods get priority, these other things can wait for a bit."

Though she kept her posture, she felt her cheeks puff up in annoyance when she was called out for being a "rare sight." Well, forgive me for wanting to explore the land more than my brothers and sisters, echoed in her mind quickly before pulling herself onto the counter to see the map better. She kept note in her mind on where she was and the district, using her finger to point at what would possibly be the easiest way through the streets to reach that location before returning her attention back to the tavern owner.

"You have my thanks, good sir," she stated, giving a slight bow before holding out her hand, causing a few coins to appear from the aether. "Forgive my way of paying, but I am sure you can understand how hard it would be for one like me to carry so much. I can assure you they are authentic and safe. If you may excuse me." With another bow, she took to the air again, fluttering through the door, following the path in her mind over to the artisan district.

Once she arrived, Vinca asked more questions, working on a general opinion from others, all of which seemed to have pointed to a central tent, more than just the fact that it had more flash than any of the others. Swooping in, Vinca kept her distance from the table, giving the red-headed artificer room to work without getting in the way, watching in silence as her focus was kept sharp at the current project at hand. She had her own duty, but for now, she kept silent not to ruin her train of thought.

It was when Vinca assumed a window had appeared did she speak up. "Excuse me," she stated, "but by any chance are you Miss Scarlett Al'Teran? Lord Adraejen has recommended you for a project I need to get worked on, if you do not mind."

The tavern owner looked up at the faerie and his eyebrow quirked up.
"A faerie, huh? We don't get many of your kind around here. Most prefer to stay around the crystal forests of Vada or in Sidhiel on Parvpora. You are looking for a smith, huh? Well, Sularia has it share of artisans, weaponsmiths and artificers. You would probably have to be more specific. But I can direct you to the smithy district," he said. He motioned to a map of the town and pointed to a specific area. "This is where you are here. The artisan district is over here on this side of town. Anyone who has the skills you are looking for will be over there," he explained.

The Artisan district was abuzz with the clang of hammers on anvils, and full of people looking and gawking at the handcrafted wares. Smiths of all types worked bellows and pounded glowing yellow metal into shape, while jewelers worked on impossibly fine details. When asked about an artificer, most pointed toward a particular tent and stall that looked a bit more lavish than the others, especially when shown the materials that Vinca had to work with.

In the stall was a tall woman, bent over a workbench, with sun-tanned skin and hair almost as red as the sands of the Harri desert piled in a curly mess on top of her head. A pair of goggles sat on her face, magnifying her vision as she worked with magical components on the bench, carefully looking over some rough sketches as she worked, muttering to herself.

How long had it been since she had been dropped off at the Vilpamolan Coast… How long had her wings kept her about, trekking through wild lands and vast cities, slowly working her way north? Along the way, she could really only work on her theory on paper and not practice, leaving the large (compared to her), vermilion focus resting in a bag as she trained her casting with a wand provided by  Lord Porthyrius to help protect herself. Following things rumor by rumor, word by word, she sought out the blacksmith talented with crafting magical equipment, Scarlett Al'Teran. This has finally led the faerie to the oasis city, Sularia.

For a place hidden in the vast desert, the city itself was certainly quite colorful. From where she hovered alone the walls and streets were decorated with vivid topazes and luxurious pearls, and yet, down an alleyway, she could catch a glimmer of rubies. She heard of a "rich infrastructure," but this seemed a bit too literal for her own sake. Still, she found herself shaking her head, snapping her mind back forward to where she needed to be. She was seeking out a smith, not playing tourist, and if there was information to be had, the easiest place to find it would be the local taverns.

Floating her way through the streets, Vinca's eyes peered left and right, seeking out whatever was in the local vicinity before she found one: A shop called The Fountain of Life. Yeah, they probably did not sell any kind of immortality elixirs, but water was just as good when surrounded by the desert sands. She aimed her direction that way and immediately to the bar where the tavern owner rested, enjoying the slower pace of the day's crowd. "Excuse me, sir, but I am in search of a blacksmith, one who specializes in magical equipment. Do you happen to know any?"
