Toya

Character Info
Name: Toya Rose-Wintercrest
Age: Looks 20
Alignment: CN
Race: Rosenite
Gender: Female
Class: Dragon Knight/Queen
Silver: 817
Drae had wanted to make sure his wife was comfortable, however, there was nothing more he could do for her. She looked like a mess from where the Voice had taken Wisteria out to where Dalanesca had ripped her heart to shreds. Blood was still coming out of her mouth as she practically laid in Drae’s arms like a dead woman. The wounds were mostly gone but now they had to focus on the now. As much as it had pained Drae to leave his wife he had to save their family from whatever this creature was doing.

Toya ran down from the White Court and stopped dead staring at her sister. “WHO THE FUCK DID THIS TO HER?” There was silence but Drae put Angela in her arms. “Sis? Hey.” Toya was shaking her in her arms but there was nothing. “Is she dead? IS SHE DEAD ADRAEJEN?!” There were tears in her eyes but she saw the werebear god shake his head. “And Wis?” Another shake.

“She said she wants to be here with all of you. We have work to do… Some of the gods will stay here to make sure Sularia is safe for her.” That was all Adraejen could get out. He didn’t want to tear himself from his wife or his children. “In the coming days or weeks, Wisteria should arrive here if I know Serci.”

"Those who are staying can either come with me or they can stay the hell out of our way." Toya held her sister tightly as the crowds gathered. The youngest sister looked like she was ready for war. There were whispers as Toya turned with her. “GET THE HELL OUT OF MY WAY.” Flames blew up making the other Rosenites flee. “This isn’t a fucking spectacle.” Slowly she carried Angela all the way to the Red Court and kicked open the door. “Lucian! COME HERE! It’s your mother. We need to get her to a bed.”

Lucian Rose

Character Info
Name: Lucian Rose
Age: 23
Alignment: LG
Race: Rosenite
Gender: Male
Class: Red Court Lord
Silver: 274
Lucian had been deep into his tall stacks of paperwork in order to approve the construction of the latest healing center when he heard his Aunt call out towards him. Her words brought on a puzzled look from him, but he left to see what trouble his mother was into this time. That, and see what damage had been done to his door since this wasn’t the first time that Aunt Toya had kicked it in. Once he got downstairs and saw them, his face shifted from that of mild annoyance to that of panic. “What the hell!” The young King darted down the last few stairs and made it to them, each step sending his stomach into knots.

His mother looked dead, but he wasn’t sure that was the case exactly. Still, the lifelessness her body held didn’t comfort his thoughts. “What happened to my mother!” Despite the tears that were threatening to fall from his eyes, his voice held back a surging wrath. She had already once defied death but now… Lucian stopped for a moment, something came to his whirlwind thoughts. Something stood out that hadn’t been noticed until he looked at her again. “Wis…what about her?” Not only had his mother’s life been endangered, but now his little sister, one that had yet to be born?

He quickly took Angela into his arms and did as his Aunt had instructed earlier. Fortunately, her room had been left untouched and it was there he would lay her down. Standing over her, his hands balled up tightly as he stared at her. First, it was through the eyes of emerald that he inherited from her blood. But then for a single moment, they flashed into a golden color. His innermost thoughts were consumed with that of vengeance against those responsible for hurting the two of them. Whoever the guilty was, he wanted them dead. Deader than dead. It was clear that Lucian wasn’t acting like his normal self and even he wasn’t aware of this change, but in the next moment, he shimmered down and turned to his Aunt. “Whatever’s going on here, we can’t let it reach the streets. Tell no one of this other than our families. The last thing we need is bedlam among Sularia. If questioned, we’ll say that she’s sick due to the pregnancy.”

Kiba

Character Info
Name: Kiba Balatro
Age: Looks in Early 30s
Alignment: TN
Race: Diowolf/Dragon Shade
Gender: Male
Class: Champion - Protector Vitae
Silver: 5904
The news had come as a great shock as well as it had not been. Reason for the dying plants made further and further sense as it pieced together in Kiba’s mind. He had a difficult time coming to terms with it, and yet the diowolf knew that he had to travel immediately. There was little time to give the news to his family as they had finally been all able to gather in the family apothecary created by his daughter. Crinkled note in hand was clenched tightly as he bid farewell to his family and triplets of Kythe. An extended hand grasp was given to Kaya before he summoned a gate portal in order to travel to Sularia. Thankfully, Teu had been able to put together a parcel of healing ointments and tonics for the goddess. Kiba’s daughter wished to go with, but knew that it would not be possible to get many through to the wounded goddess.

Stepping through the portal he stepped out into Sularia. Satchel slung over his shoulder, Kiba turned his gait from a walk to a jog towards the Red Court due to the directions given in his note. The scrawl had been in Damon’s handwriting. His old military captain had gotten word to the diowolf as quickly as he had been able. The phoenix kept his ward safe in her quarters in the White Court. Damon would not take any chances when it came to Astrid or his duty.

To say that there was a commotion would have been an understatement. The arrival of an almost dead goddess would have startled anyone; made worse that she was one of their own here in the city. From what he could tell it was only those that had been in the area upon her arrival. There were already a shushing of those that knew the news. It could make the city turn on end if it became general knowledge. Kiba made it through the crowd into the main building. For some reason people were allowing him to make it through the different security checks that had been set up until he came to the room that contained Angela.

The diowolf took a moment before knocking on the door with a rap of his knuckle. ”Is Angela in here?” he asked with a softened voice. He could see the faces of the rulers of Sularia. Each looked paler than the other, and he was sure his turned ashen at the sight of Angela on her bed. Satchel was removed from his shoulder in a rush. ”I was sent word of her. I am Kiba Balatro, I haven’t had the pleasure of meeting any of you before. I’m sorry we haven’t met under better circumstances.” His head bowed out of respect for them before he moved to the end of the bed. ”Ang? I brought some things for you from Teu.”

”The plant life is dying around the world as we speak. Please tell me that there is someone who can heal her.” The Champion knew that he should be with Lord Lokir right then, but he needed to make sure that his friend was out of danger first. ”What about the child?” His words were shaken this time as he did not want to think of the possibility of what could have happened.
