It had been a few months since his arrival to Sularia and he was thoroughly enjoying every moment of it. Supposedly on business, the vampire couldn’t help but seek out the pleasures that the city had to offer. One of which was a lady who had just recently became a widow; her husband of just two years had been one of those that had perished in that accursed war with those insectoids. Saito hadn’t pursued her intentionally, at least not at first. Over time, however, they have gotten to know one another more and he slowly inched his way into her life and was accepted as her new lover. Nothing really taboo in Sularia, especially since it was in dire need of more males because of the heavily influenced female ratio to them. It benefited him greatly in now that he had a place to stay and had some connections among some of the Houses here. Things worked out smoothly for him in the long run- not to mention that he could feed on his beloved, with her permission.

With everything seemingly established, he could focus on his business though there was really no rush in him for it…

The wee hours of the evening came and the last bit of sunlight died over the horizon and he had to make some rounds in town. So Saito bid his lover farewell for a bit and kissed her deeply before slipping into his cloak and departed for the center of town. There had been some potions made from the exclusive plantlife in the surrounding desert that captivated his eye now for a while. Supposedly they varied from providing great healing capabilities to being strong stimulants that could strengthen one’s body. Also, they were hot sellers, and finding them any time other than at the point of arrival was foolishness. Many times had he missed out on them for one reason or another. Not this time.

Elegant he was as he strolled through the Red District, seeing that many of the establishments were on their last calls before closing up for the night. Fortunately, the shop he wanted would be open for just a little bit later so he could at least enjoy the walk on the dispersing streets as the children were being ushered back into the house and the night owls were coming alive slowly but surely.
