Serci was in his quarters, a series of candles and incense were lit around the room where Serci sat in the middle. He focused on the sounds around him in the room as his hearing slowly expanded outwards, trying to pick up conversations in the halls outside, outside around the outskirts of the palace, expanding further to the glass ocean and beyond. It was a new meditation technique he was working on, understanding where he fit in such an ever-changing world. His focus was instantly snapped back to his room as Angela interrupted his training. The sudden backlash from the cancel of the meditation causing him a small headache as he listened to his patron goddess.
"If you feel well enough to travel." He mentioned, gesturing towards the small bump in her belly with a warming smile. He proped his self off the floor, standing up beside Angela, offering his arm out to her. "It would be an honor to visit Sularia with you, my lady." When they crossed through the gate they stepped out into the bright Herana Desert. As his eyes slowly adjusted to the radiant light glaring against the sands, he noticed the sweltering heat. He was familiar with the desert. At one point, he saw the desert as a waste land of death, nearly void of life, but with his experiences and a talk with Angela, the desert was inspiring to him. The life that lives in such extreme conditions thrives with strength and beauty. Angela her self was an example.
As they walked along the gold and silver bricks that made up the roads in the red district they passed many of the famous public bath houses that Serci had heard about. It wouldn't be a bad idea to spend some time there in mediation, he thought if he would have the down time, that is. As they walked along the path, many women congratulated Angela on her pregnancy, much to Serci's annoyance. His hand was on the hilt of Natia ede Nova when ever someone approached. He was guest in Sularia, Angela's even, he didn't want to put a bad impression on the city, but Serci's champion duty came first.
Soon enough, they found them selves nearing a large manor that bore resemblance to Eylisa's temple, however, much smaller in size. They made their way up the steps, neared by rose gardens on both sides of steps as they walked to the front of the manor. A loud noise, a scream, alarmed Serci, his hand fell to his sword, grabbing the hilt and unshesthing half way, until Angela addressed the situation. She calmly talked to the white haired woman like only a mother would. He quietly sheathed the sword, smiling as he watched scene.
He chuckled to his self, watching the scene unfold. It was ironic, that Serci would find his self in servitude to such a large family. Although the woman was almost in tears at her brothers prank, he smiled at the act. Family was something he hadn't experienced in a long time, the feeling of closeness was foreign to him almost. He turned to whisper into Angela's ear as she gave him an apologetic look. "This is all fine, Angela. It's almost funny." He smiled, a soft chortle escaping from his mouth. "As for Kaiser, I'm sure he is a respectful man. I have no worries about getting along with your family. You know me, my lady, I like everybody that I meet." He paused, as his grin slowly fell from his face. "How ever, I feel I will be put on severe scrutiny when your children find out I am courting Ms. Rosemary-Raine."
He stood up, straiting his posture, giving a shake of his head to part the long blond hair that had fell in his face. He made a move to introduce his self to Nezzera, as bowed his head in respect. "Hello, Nezzera. It is a pleasure to meet you. I am your mother's Divine Artificer. I have been told pleasnt things about you and your husband. I will be honored if you and Kaiser will simply call me Serci, though." He said, a pleasnt smile on his face. He conievntly left out his relationship with Rosemary for a better time.
