Larka smiled and leaned forward as she listened to Rhea's ideas on how to stave off boredom. ”Oh, hot baths are amazing! If I could have one every night I would, nothing feels like having the hot water surround you and have the heat sink into your skin and warm you totally and ease your muscles.” Larka replied with a broad grin, her own eyes always on Rhea. ”And a night spent nude under the stars in the forest, ah, now that's something I haven't done in a long, long time to be honest.” Larka commented as she was then asked more of why she was here so often since the hostess knew her habits so well.

The Reaver smiled and chuckled slightly as she sipped her drink. ”I do my share of travelling as a mercenary, but I'm using this city as a place to come back to. As I said, I have a room an inn down the road on long term rental, gives me a place to store things and I know I have a place to go back to. Not to mention, I do jobs for Angela and Toya, I'm sure you have heard their names before. So I want to make sure I stay close to the city in case either of them needs me, I have a deal made with both of them, separate deals, but it's been working out well so far.” Larka pondered something for a few moments, well, if she was being honest she might as well be fully honest. ”And I'm looking for someone, it's why I made the trips to these lands in the first place. So, with having one place that people know I can always be found or will come back to, if they have any leads they know where to find me.” Larka continued, for now leaving the part about the one she was looking for was her wife. But she was wearing three weddings rings after all, two on her middle finger that matched and one on her ring finger that was a different design.

Larka took a sip of her drink and smiled to Rhea. ”But, may I turn that question around? What brings you to the city this evening? Are you a traveller yourself, or do you live in the city?”

[ooc: not my best, sorry :(]

There was something refreshing about having someone be completely honest about what they wanted from the night. Rhea normally refrained from it until she knew that she would not insult someone. She had grown tired a long time ago with people disliking how honest and blunt she was about things. She just could not help but love when someone was being honest and true to themselves. It made them instantly better than herself because she fell into the idea of being good a long time ago. She wears clothing in public and starts with teasing hints that led to her being blunt. She knew she was going to enjoy tonight for many reasons.

The woman introduced herself again and Rhea gave a small smile. Larka so far was straight to the point of what she was hoping for a night with her. Rhea remained silent at first as she the other continued to talk about where she was hoping the night would lead. She was completely hooked in each step. Leaning forward a little, Rhea spoke finally. “Well, I love your thoughts. I would be happy with a drink or two and I guess we may get to know each other.” Rhea grew silent for a moment as she thought about what exactly she would do to stave off boredom.

“I enjoy long hot baths, spending the night nude whether it under blankets or just on the floor in the forest. I enjoy a drink or two, but I admit I have not spent time in a comfortable bed in a while. We shall see if the night leads to me in a large bed.” There was a smirk on her lips as she talked, her eyes never left Larka. Their lips were so close at this point that it almost was as if Rhea was leaning into a kiss but before anything could happen, her drink came back up to her lips for a sip and her hand hovered it there as she watched her new friend with curiosity.

“Since the hostess appears to know your name and wished to warn me of you, you must spend a lot of time here. Is there any reason to you being here for so long? No interesting places to see?” Rhea tilted her head a little at Larka. She was curious why a beautiful woman would spend all her time in the same tavern. Rhea loved to travel because it meant that she could meet a lot of interesting characters. Larka was a perfect example of why she loved to travel.

The reply that came from the woman instantly had the Reaver's attention, oh, she already liked this woman's personality and her looks!  Lovely was the nickname she gained already as she was asked what form of misbehaving she had in mind and that the woman would hate to be bored.  Larka smiled, watching the eyes of the woman before her looking her own form over, while Larka did the same, neither of them hiding what they were doing.  "Well, I was thinking for a start, maybe drink a little, chat and get to know each other."  She took a sip of her drink as she thought for a moment.  "As our hostess pointed out, I'm Larka, a pleasure."  She reintroduced before continuing.  "Afterwards, well, I have a room at an inn, just down the road, it's a nice place, I'd love to show it to you.  You'd be surprised how comfortable the bed is as well, large enough for me to roll around in, or for two to roll around on.  Keep warm under the blankets, might be cool tonight by the feel of it."  Larka grinned as their eyes met again and the Reaver chuckled.  "But, not everything has to be about me, tell me, what are some things that you like to do to stave off boredom on a night like this?"  Larka smirked over her glass as she leaned forward a little closer to Rhea.

[OOC: That… took me an hour -_-  Sorry for the length, but I couldn't think of anything else that wouldn't be fluff on my part :/]

The ale was sweet and stung the back of her throat as she softly sipped at it. The crowd hummed behind her with a mix of excited voices. The more the night grew, the louder people got. The feeling of alcohol dampening the senses and releasing the beast within. It caused them to do many foolish things and she would be around to watch them and laugh. She always enjoyed watching how something so simple could affect everyone differently. She was able to drink quite a lot before it would ever begin to affect her. It ran through her like it was water. Her mother used to tell her she got her endless stomach from her father and she was beginning to believe those words now. Her body shifted a little to let her eyes dance over the patrons. There were already a few people who swayed around the room, drunk and foolish. A few patrons entered the tavern and her eyes caught sight for a moment an interesting subject. The woman appeared simple in appearance but held an edge of mysteriousness to her. She looked out of place against the rest of the patrons.

Hazel eyes drifted away from the stranger and began to go back to her own business. She was rather enjoying just watching the world pass by her because it meant watching each person thrive in their environment. Her gaze finally shifted back to the bar as she grabbed her drink and took another sip. She was still unsure what exactly she wanted to do today. What was on her agenda tonight? Even Rhea did not know. She could only hope that something would shift and change. Her mind drifted back to the stranger she had seen not moments before and a small smile drifted across her lips. Now, that was the kind of woman who probably could keep her preoccupied for some time. In a city of beautiful women, it was not very often you thought of one as unique. Most the woman here always reminded her of her aunt, who was a beautiful woman but still her relative in title only. It made it difficult to completely enjoy the women of Sularia.

Rhea’s thoughts were quickly broken by someone walking up beside her, resting in the open seat. Her mind had zoned out the world around her but the voice pulled her attention. She knew it was to her and the vibe was one that she could not help but cling to. It was the sensation that the siren clung to. The sensation she had once ruled. Her gaze shifted to her side giving a smirk to her newest interest. She was excited to find that her new interest was actually her old interest. “I never really believed in behaving. It far too… pretentious for my tastes.” Rhea chimed back almost instantly. There was no need for thoughts when it came to her charmed tongue. Her body shifted and her head tilted to look at the woman more closely, “What form of misbehaving did you have in mind, lovely? I would hope something that will keep my interest. I would be hate be bored.”

The siren did not care if her new friend saw her glancing over her form. She could do the same and Rhea would not care. There was no shame in the love for a beautiful body and she knew she had one. After her eyes had finished their climb back to the unique grey eyes, the smirk grew from across her lips. She had a feeling that this woman would not let her ever be bored in her presence.

The Reaver had been in these lands now for just over a month, with little to show for finding her wayward wife. But it wasn't that the time spent here so far had been uneventful, hardly. Larka had met a rather interesting collection of people, and one Goddess, since getting off the boat that brought her here. But of all the places she had been so far, this city, Sularia, was starting to feel like a possible new home in these lands. It was a beautiful city, peaceful, mostly populated by females which was a bonus, and, really, Larka just liked it here. Not only that, but one of the ladies in charge here, Toya, Larka was working for, Larka was to protect her kids, and grand kids, and there was a lot of them to keep track of. In exchange for the continued service, Toya would provide Larka with the dragon's blood the Reaver needed to keep her powers strong, and keep her alive as a result. Not only that, but Larka also owed Angela, the Goddess of Life and Earth, for saving her life not too long ago. Larka would do the jobs that Angela asked of her, though she hadn't yet to call in that marker, leaving Larka to wonder what kinds of jobs a Goddess would need her to do that she couldn't do herself.

So, despite where a job might take her, Larka always found herself coming back to Sularia to rest and relax. She had found an inn that she liked and had made arrangements for a permanent room so that she always had a place to go, or for Toya or Angela to find her, and to leave anything she didn't want to take with her in a safe place. It gave the Reaver some source of stability in her current life, the idea to find an actual home and settle down was never entering her thoughts, no, she would find Celeste and, once she had, they would decide to what to do next; go back to Celeste's home land or stay here.

Another thing she liked about the inn she had picked as there was a cozy tavern just down the road from it that she was frequenting, considering her alcoholism that was frequent indeed. The barkeep knew her by face now, Larka did stand out, standing three inches above six feet tall, one arm, black hair down to her shoulders that looked like she had cut it with a knife(cause she did). So when Larka pushed the door open and stepped inside the keep from the behind the bar nodded to her and right away poured a glass of rum for the merc, while Larka nodded to a few faces(one of which she had sat on) as she made her way to the bar.

Larka was wearing simple clothing and she wasn't armed with her swords, but there was always present knuckle duster in her pocket just in case. She had a plain short sleeved shirt on with a light and short leather jacket over that, her midriff showed a little still, showing her toned body off. Her eyes, for a human, were a bit odd in that they were grey but she was not blind, and she didn't look like she was forty. On her hand she wore three rings, two matching on her middle finger and a the last one on her ring finger.

She made her way to the bar, noting the woman sitting there she hadn't seen before as Larka took a stool and grabbed the ready made glass of rum. ”Cheers.” She raised her glass to the keep and then glanced to the woman beside her with a grin and a nod before her down the glass and the keep refilled it for her.

In that glance to the other woman Larka had quickly taken in her looks; gorgeous, was the first word that came to her mind. But before Larka could say anything the keep spoke up instead, smiling as she did glancing to Rhea for a moment. “Please behave tonight, Larka.”

Larka hung her head and was forced to swallow her words and sighed. ”You're not helping.”

“I'm not trying to help you.” Was the reply from the keep who looked to Rhea. “Watch this one, she likes to flirt.” She laughed lightly and walked away.

Larka shook her head with a slight grin before looking to the pretty woman. ”So, beautiful, do you want me to behave tonight?” Larka asked with a wicked smile on her face, she had absolutely no shame it seemed and was very open about her intent and sexuality. She let the question hang in the air while she sipped her rum.

[OOC:  Subtle, Larka doesn't know that word :P]

Her mother used to remind her that some things never changed. The fact that even with her being a mixture of two types of blood would never that mean she would be able to control the powers of light and fire. There were many things that she could master but those would never be one. Sularia was another fine example of something that would never change. It would take a lot for the city to be pushed from their beliefs and standers. She could remember being a small child running through the streets with her aunt and father whispering away in the way they did.

Maybe she had taken advantage of all the things she had been given her life? She had a history that not many would ever encounter. Every grown up that she had watched growing up at one point had been a deity for this beautiful world. She had taken over her mother’s place before falling from grace. She had broken her aunt’s heart and disgraced many that had long ago worshipped her. The last time she had set foot in this beautiful city Rhea had stood among the deity.

The time had passed so quickly, but she felt like a child running wild through the bazaar. She was far from a child. She had walked in the footsteps of her elders and, now, had to discover her own path. Today, the path led her back to a place from her youth. She could see a small version of her running ahead of her as she walked through the crowded streets. A few heads would turn to look, knowing or just admiring the beauty. There would be many here that remembered for what she had once been. She could feel the lump in her throat.

There had not been many times in her life that she left this way. Her aunt threw her into many horrible situations to watch her tick, but nothing felt like this. She felt the fear and worry weighing on her heart. The knowing and judging eyes that would watch her as she walked. Even though she felt the fear strongly, it would never stop her. She wore a flowing dress of gold with glimmers of green dancing underneath helping her hazel eyes stand out. She held her head high with a green shawl resting over her head to help against the heat of this climate. Her hair braided loosely in a ponytail over her shoulder to try and ease the heat on the back of her neck.

Like normal, there was a nice amount of skin that was showing from her strapless dress to show off her soft tanned skin. Her appearance did well to help her blend in with all the other female that walked the streets since this was a city that housed far more men than women. The bazaar did not offer much for Rhea to keep her interest. She grew tired of the wares quickly and found herself starting to look for the nearest tavern. A cold drink and a place to rest her feet sounded like the best thing she had thought of all day.

The siren was not picky about where she went. She knew any of the places would be a good fit for her. As long as it offered the two things she wanted, she could actually care less about what it looked like. There were very little places in this district that didn’t follow the same beautiful atmosphere of Sularia. The sun had not long begun to set and the lamps around the district had begun to light and glimmer in their unique multicolored glow. She felt almost sad to finally enter a tavern, just wanting to stop and staring at the lights a little longer. It was always something that remained out of her reach.

The tavern was as busy as the street it rested against. There were many women, and a few men, talking happily. There was always a pure happiness that radiated from this area and it never helped with her curiosity. She walked up to the bar letting her hands rest on the reddish wood. ”Some ale, please. Something soothing.” Her words came out softly but held a certain charm that easily caught the attention of the bartender. Her heritage did offer her a few useful perks. The question that rose now was what would she do with her time now. She wanted to feel the same happiness that was suffocating her from the moment she walked into the city walls. The curiosity was killing her.
