Lily laughed at Ana. “There should be a few nice houses nearby. Just what a child needs more aunts.” She chuckled knowing that Ana would probably claim that she was the best aunt out of the bunch. “We can watch him it won’t be too hard. I’m sure they won’t leave this time since they got caught already. Nymph doesn’t like a game of cat and mouse.”
She nodded up to Clyde as she squealed when he picked her up. She clung to him and laughed the whole way up the stairs. “I’m sure he will. They got in trouble once… and we do have much to celebrate today.” They were going to be parents after all… again. Lily gently kicked the door shut as they got into the bedroom. She figured this was where they were going to spend the rest of the evening.

When her children entered the room, he stood beside her with his arm around her. Clyde was too happy to remove the smile from his face. It wasn’t when Nymph wasn’t too thrilled about it all that made him frown. He knew she was going to take this hard, but he hoped that this wouldn’t drive a wedge between mother and daughter or daughter and stepfather for that matter.Clyde’s arm dropped to the counter as he watched Lily hug her daughter. “Of course.” He said with a small smile. He wouldn’t mind having some baby daddy time. He let mother and daughter talk. He didn’t want to interrupt. He smiled seeing an accepting son. Clyde and Rowan didn’t have much time together like him and Nymph, he made a note to do so. He soon left his mother because he had things to do but would be back later. Clyde smiled as he shook his hand and then he left. He returned to Lily’s side.A sigh left his lips as he saw his sister come back in. “I am looking for a place around here!” She announced. “With a baby on the way, she will need her Aunt around.” She smiled down at the noticeable baby bump. “I am calling my other children here.” Anastasia said as she started to walk out the door. “Clyde, can you watch over Alden for me? I am going to make the necessary arrangements …..He should be with Nymph.” With a nod from her brother, she left.“Well. This will be interesting.” The elemental said with a laugh before picking up Lily. “Lets leave the children be. I am sure Alden will keep her in check.” With that he headed upstairs with Lily in his arms. “Let’s go and celebrate.” He said with a smirk on his lips as they entered the room.

Lily shook her head at Clyde and laughed. “Sure, leave all the troublesome stuff to your future wife. I’m sure I’m going to be getting up every night with said child too.” She teased him as she leaned over and rubbed her nose on his. She smiled more when he mentioned Angelique. “I’m glad. That means we, her and me, can have a relationship as stepmother and child.” That made Lily quite happy. She kissed him again and hugged him close.

Nymph was having the time of her life. The way the hellfire danced around her body. It was a lot like an elegant dance. She said she had the basic control but it was the way it was in love with her. The way the green and purple flames made her skin and hair glow. It scorched some of her clothing as it tore through other demons. There was a look of pure thrill on her face. Yaeger’s blade was able to slash through the demons with relative ease showing how sharp the blade was.
“What’s wrong?” Nymph stopped dead as the flames burned at the grass. She sheathed Yaeger and had the same look as she saw Ana. “Busted…” She said in Alden’s direction as they stalked off together. “In her state?” What the hell did that mean? Her eyes narrowed to Ana but Ana said nothing more. She could have asked a thousand questions but she knew that Ana the way she was wouldn’t have answered them.
She sulked as she followed the woman and kept up with Alden. Of course, Ana was completely friendly with her goody-goody brother. She gently rolled her eyes as Rowan nodded and followed them. “Good luck,” Nymph giggled to Alden before he was left to the mercy of his mother.
Rowan and Nymph made their way into the kitchen and Nymph’s eyes immediately went to her mother’s bump before Clyde dropped his hands. “What’s this?” Nymph was obviously confused as she moved around the room. Rowan nodded in agreement with Nymph.
“Well, Clyde and I have some exciting news. It looks like there will be a new member of the Rose Vladimir tribe.” Lily blushed a bit as she snuggled into Clyde.
Nymph’s mouth dropped. “You two work a little fast don’t you think?” She was flabbergasted. “What about me? I still need you, Mom.” Nymph was pouting now.
Lily smiled and she got off the stool as she came over and hugged Nymph. “I’m still going to have time for you. I’ll just stick the baby with Clyde… Is that okay?” She pulled the girl to her. “I never knew you liked my annoyance.”
“Life is quiet without your nagging,” Nymph admitted as she hugged her mother. “Am I in trouble?”
Lily sighed a bit. “Yes but for now you can just stay in the house and not leave.” Lily stroked Nymph’s dark hair and brushed the scorch marks off her corset. “Why must you get yourself dirty… Now stay in the house… Alright? We’ll talk more about the punishment… right now is a happy time.” Rowan went and hugged his mother.
Nymph stalked out and went to another little side garden so she could sit. “And I’m grounded again.”
Lily watched her daughter leave. “She took that hard… I hope she accepts the baby too.”

As he held her, Clyde’s mind went to Angelique. Would she accept him marrying Lily? What about the child? His mind swarmed with thoughts about his daughter. He hoped when he told her, she wouldn’t turn off her soul again. She was fragile when it came to family. Then he remember how she told him not to have Lily get away. He stayed quiet for a moment as she talked about throwing up. A small laugh left his lips. “The great things that come with pregnancy. That is why I am quite happy I am a man.” He joked with her.His thoughts went back to his daughter “Angelique will accept this and the baby.” He paused in his words a smile coming to his lips. “We talked about you much. She told me not to have you get away and not to pass this up.” He pulled away from her to cup her face. Looking down into her eyes he spoke, “I can’t wait to start this new adventure with you.” He leaned down to kiss her once more.
It didn’t take long for Anastasia to find her son and Nymph. They were killing off some demons. Her eyes narrowed as she stared at her son. He sheathed his sword and gulped. He was in for it. “Lets go. Both of you “ Her eyes turned to nymph, her words stern as before. “Your mother is back and worried sick. In her state, she shouldn’t be. She needs to speak to you. Let’s go.” WIth that, the elemental turned around, she didn’t bother to make sure they were following. She knew they were. Before they reached the house they spotted, Rowan, Lily’s other child. With him, Ana’s voice wasn’t stern. It was normal with a bit of cheer in her voice. “Hey come on kid, your mom would like to talk to you.” She smiled at him before she walked passed. As they reached the house, she stopped outside. “Nymph and Rowan, go ahead. Alden. Stay here.” When they walked into the house, Anastasia scolded her son.
Clyde stood there smiling with Lily, his eyes lit with joy as he laid his hand over her little baby bump. He didn’t notice the two walk in. When he did, he drooped his hands and put one arm around Lily’s shoulders. His face lit with smiles still. “Hey kids. We have some news.”

Lily gave him a soft smile as she brought her hand up and rubbed his cheek. “I can’t break my Love. My court needs me more than ever. Arri cannot lose two queens in a row that would just be terrible. I have to be strong and hold onto the hope that all of this is just a joke of some sort.” She gave him a look like he would tell her about his sister later and let it go.
She chuckled a bit and nodded. “I have a feeling you are right. The baby will be here before we know what to do.” She watched him as he knelt down and put his head on her belly. She put her hands around his head and gently pet his hair as he spoke to their child.
“I think you already love her.” Lily corrected him as he spoke and chuckled. “And cherish her. All it took was finding out that it exists. It’s what makes you such a good father. You, me, Rowan, Nymphaea, and even Angelique. We’re all one happy family now. Wedding or no wedding.”
She hugged him back and as he snuggled her she just chuckled more. “Tell me about it. We have to break it to all three children we are bringing a fourth child into the world. I hope Angelique takes it well.” She was a bit worried. “And Nymph for that matter…” She kissed him back and took a huge sigh.
“Thank goodness for Ana making me that tea this morning. I was throwing up all over the place. Glad the house staff is so good at their jobs.” She blushed a bit as she held her hands to her stomach protectively.

As Clyde listen to her speak about Angela. He knew Lily would be alright. She couldn’t be really dead. She was a Goddess after all. He put his hand over Lily’s, his smile gone. Now he was serious. “Thank you for telling me. I was worried you would break….” He paused as he remembered his own sister dying. He couldn’t stop it, he wasn’t there fast enough. “I know how it feels to lose a sister.” He hadn’t told her yet about Katherine’s death. It took a toll on him for a very a long time. Today was bringing up too many memories of that time.Seeing her belly, his eyes widen. How could he missed that? Had her belly really grown over night? He had just kissed her stomach the night before. He looked up at her with a smile. “With us being non-human. You might not be pregnant for nine months.” He said as he got up from the stool. They had only been together for a month tops. Kneeling down slightly before her, he leaned his head on her stomach. “Hey little girl.” He smiled looking up at her, he had a feeling it would be a girl, girls ran in both families after all. “I am your Father. I think we are going to meet you sooner than we expect.” He paused as he laid his hand on her belly next to him. “I am never going to leave you. I will love you so much. I will also cherish you as I do your mother…..and nymph.” He added the last part after a smile. He pulled away to kiss her belly. “I can’t wait for you to be here.” He whispered into her stomach. With a laugh, he rubbed his face into her stomach and kissed it again before standing up to hug her. “This has been quite a journey we have been on.” He said into her hair as he snuggled into it. “I would never change it.” He leaned back to kiss her lips softly.

Lily blinked a bit as she stared at Anastasia. “I’m more worried about Nymphaea. She is far from a good girl when feels pent up and aggressive.” She looked so upset by the sudden movement of her daughter. She simply didn’t want to lose her little girl.
She let out a squeal as he ran over and picked her up. She felt dizzy for a moment as she kissed him back. She held onto him and smiled as she sat down with his help. He picked her up and carried her back into the kitchen. She was now laughing because he was so protective over her. He sat her down on a stool and she looked at the food. “Please, Dear I have been pregnant before. That troublemaker that we’re looking for wasn’t exactly an easy birth I’ll have you now. It’s what’s keeping me short of killing her.”
It was a joke as she laughed even in the solemn moment of Angela’s death she felt like… Angela had left her a present. “Now that we’re alone…” She eyed the glass of water and she picked up her fork. “I feel as my future husband you deserve to know what’s going on. You cannot tell anyone else. Promise me, it will set a dead panic in all of Arri.”
She picked up the glass of water and drank from it before she started to pick at her food. “Angela’s son Lucian was not able to take the test. It threw him out… it means either Arri isn’t ready for a new king or… Angela isn’t dead. Not yet or not even. We don’t know which yet. We’re keeping it to ourselves until we find out anything else… We don’t know if she’s become one with life’s energy or if something else is at play. Her temple is still standing as well…” She was musing.
“I almost feel like our baby was her gift almost. I don’t think Angela knew what would happen to her when she took that hit but..” Lily was so full of joy that when her eyes looked down she dropped what she was doing to tighten her dress. “How did I not notice that before?” She had a little belly and it made her laugh.

Clyde finally finished breakfast, it took longer than usual because of the events going on. He didn’t even notice the two leave. He did hear them say they were going to have a duel. He didn’t mind that, they were just outside the doors of the house. With Alden being who he was, Clyde knew he wouldn’t leave without saying a word. Ana was beside him as she took a bit of the meat, she was chewing when Lily came in the door.Clyde opened his arms out wide for her. He embraced her close for a moment before she notice Nymph wasn’t there. “They were just outside?!” He said as she started to look around the house for her daughter. “I’ll look outside.” Ana said before running out the kitchen. All she had to do was open the door and look out, no one was there. “Damnit! Alden.” She said as her eyes narrowed. As soon as Lily came down she followed her to Clyde.Clyde eyes widened at Lily’s words. She automatically left. He looked at Ana, who was nodding with a big smile on her face. Happiness filled him. Lily soon returned with no sign of his nephew or her daughter. Clyde and Anastasia looked at her. “I will find them. Don’t worry, my son is a good boy and won’t go far with her, I promise.” With that she left. As soon as Ana walked out the door, he ran over to Lily and picked her up, he spun her around before kissing her. He held her up as he kissed her. He was so happy. She made him so happy. Finally, he released her. “They will be fine. If anything happens, Alden will take care of her. Trust me.” He said as he gazed down at her with loving eyes. He brought her in for another kiss. Realizing she hadn’t ate, Clyde picked her up and headed back to the kitchen. He sat her down on the stool and put a plate in front of her. Bread, sausage and scrambled eggs. “You need to eat. You are pregnant, so food is essential.” He put a cup of water in front of her and smiled. “No wine either.” He sat down beside her and watched her. He couldn’t believe in such a sad moment, there could be happiness.

Lily had remembered everything Bryony had said. It was quite possible Ang wasn’t dead but what she had seen was still fresh in her head. She made her way back to the manor and headed right back inside back to Clyde. She put her head on Clyde’s shoulder. “Today…” She could complain all day. Something alerted her, though. She didn’t sense Nymph.
She had a deadpan face as she stood up and stared at Clyde. “Where is Nymphaea?” After a bit, she started to search the house yelling for her. “Dammit, Clyde I told you to watch her.” She yelled. She was angry and this wasn’t like her. “I don’t have time for this. I lost my sister. I’m pregnant and now my sixteen-year-old is off somewhere where I can see her.”
She let out a frustrated noise as she started looking around the garden for her. Making her way back in she looked both of them. “What?!”

As they fought, the occasionally smile appeared on his lips. He wasn’t one to smile like his mother, but he couldn’t help himself with the girl before him. They fought in the street in front of the manor. He had barely built up a sweat and nodded. She needed distraction. Her mother didn’t want her to go with her, but what about going with him? He smirked, sometimes he could get around orders. Walking up to her, he fought the urge to touch her shoulder to comfort her. He remembered what she said before and it brought an idea to his mind. Seeing a posting when he entered, their was a sighting of a pair of demons not to far away from here. They were killing people that got in their path. He wanted to do it himself, but his mother said they had to see his uncle. He saw his uncle, they delivered the news. Now it was his time. “Come on.” He said with a nod towards the direction of the gate. “There was a sighting of some demons in the forest near by.” He started to walk away hoping that she would follow. “Let’s go kill some demons.” Her said as he looked over his shoulder at her. They soon headed out of the city.

“I’m just sore from everything lately. I don’t like being cooped up. I like hunting demons. As crazy as that sounds it was something I vastly enjoyed since my father didn’t think I would ever measure up to other demons of my caliber.” She frowned a bit. “That I would be easily killed.”
The sword shook as if trying to fight the words she spoke but she held it closed. She frowned so deeply as the shaking managed to cut her hand. At the cut it stopped, he hadn’t wanted to hurt his daughter. The wound though was small and it healed up pretty fast right in front of them. Ana had interrupted and she offered a smile to her. Had they been talking about something she didn’t like?
Nymph gave him a smirk at the suggestion and was immediately up. She followed him out into the streets and she unsheathed Yaeger. It was a beautiful sword with a greenish metal in the middle of the blade. The rest of it was almost like an obsidian but that too was metal. She dropped the sheath and they began to have to play fight. It was fun they were smiling and laughing but soon she just lost her smile. Her body language changed and she dropped Yaeger in the middle of it.
“Alden I don’t feel like it…” But they had been having so much fun. “Can we do something else?” Her aunt's death still clung to her like smog. Suddenly there were tears in her eyes once more.

Alden looked curiously at the girl before him. She had gone through so much and she was younger then him. “16?’ He thought to himself, his mother had told him how old she was. Leaning back on the couch, he listened to her speak. “It was the same for my sister…” He paused in his words to picture her. “Her awakening was similar to yours. She burnt down a force with her awakening and she couldn’t stop it. My Dad just got my little brother and I out of there so we could stay safe….He couldn’t do anything for her no one could in that moment.” His eyes looked out a nearby window. His mind on his sister. “Maybe that is why she became the quiet one of us all.” He smiled a bit at the memory. “She use to be such a talker. Now she is mostly quiet unless she has something to say.”He watched her demonstrate her control in the fireplace. His eyes went back to the girl before him. “Shadow demon.” He paused as he turned his eyes from her to the window. His mind going to his father, How could he leave them? “My father’s father, is a high ranking general. My father didn’t want to bend to his will and went rouge.” He paused, anger within him rose. He needed his father, they all did. Now he was gone without a word of goodbye.“I should’ve used holy water on you all when you had your rebellious time.” His mother came around the corner and smiled at her son. It was a sad smile. She had caught him talking about his father. She wanted to tell him to not talk about him, but she didn’t have the heart to. “Where is Clyde?” Alden pointed towards the kitchen, she nodded and went to him.
Clyde had stopped his cooking in the kitchen and now just sat on a stool staring at the flames of the kitchen fire. A hand came onto his shoulder and he didn’t move his eyes. “I want to be with her.” He said aloud finally. “She is strong. She will come to you when she needs you.” She smiled thinking of what happened before. “You picked a good one. A strong independent woman.” With a pat on his shoulder, she forced him to get up and helped him with the food.
The silence set in again and he looked over Nymph. He didn’t like that she was sad. “How about we go outside and have a duel?” He said with a smirk as he stood. “No magic, just weapons.” WIth that he walked out the door. And waited by the edge of the street. It was silence there and no one roamed. They could have this whole area to duel.

Nymphaea watched as her mother left and Clyde soon had his arm around her forcing her back into the house. “This is so stupid. I want to go with Mom.” It was a protective tone. They had just watched her aunt get destroyed by a goddess. However, her tone was more of a pout as she obediently listened to Clyde.
The silence on the couch was deafening but she took Yaeger off her belt loop and put the sword in between her legs so she could lean on it. “Yup.” She answered Alden as she stared at the fireplace. “I can remember it like yesterday. My body lit up in hellfire. The shadows tried to rip me apart. My mind became lost and I might have killed a few people if it weren’t for my Aunt Angela. After all, hellfire can only be put out by the user or by a divine being.”
Yaeger spoke up. “Girls tend to have it worse than boys because of their emotional state. Even now the difference between you two is astounding.”
Nymph pushed the sword down in the sheath, “No talking.” She was sad and she didn’t wish to be lectured or told how she should feel. “I have to be bathed in holy water or my powers get out of control. Even if I completely were in control of my emotions my powers are too great for my small body. It starts to rip you apart at the seams. You slowly begin not to care who you kill. You don’t care who your family is. You just light things on fire.”
Her blank gaze ended as she lit the fireplace in a hellfire. She waved her hand and it was gone. “I can control it some days. Other days it just rampages.” She looked at Alden now. “What about you? What kind of demon are you? Yaeger was a high ranking Shadow Demon.” She tapped the sword softly.

Hearing Nymph reply to him, made him smile as he was making the eggs. She might have been sarcastic, but the comment of dad made him smile. Angelique had only called him father a few times. He loved the feeling. Turning back around, he cleared his smile. “Nymph, if you stayed up on your baths it wouldn’t hurt that much.” After that she left the room. Yeager spoke to him and he looked over to a sword. He knew all too well what he was saying. “That was the same with my nephew here. He is also a half demon. He was such a rebellious lad when he was younger. It wasn’t until he was 17 that his sister helped him accept his demon. Ever since he has been a well mannered boy.” He patted his nephew's shoulder and Alden gave a small smile. He was remembering his past, he fought against the demon within him for years. If it wasn’t for his big sister, he wouldn’t be here.
Anastasia nodded to Lily. She knew that his brother was going to be so excited. He loved her children like they were his own. She took her seat and stayed with the queen. She wanted to make sure she was going to feel better. “He won’t mind, as long as the baby is health and his.” She said with a wave of her had and a smile on her face. She wasn’t one to smile the last few months but now she had something to smile about. After she finished her tea,she dressed.Ana followed her down the stairs along with Nymph. They headed back into the Kitchen where everyone gathered. “Now you look—” She started to say to Nymph, but Rowan came through the door. When he spoke, everyone cleared out of the house and to the streets. When Clyde saw Angela in the sky, he went behind Lily and put his hands on her shoulders. The instant he did that Angela exploded. A gasp left everyone’s lips. His arms circled her and held her close. When she started to speak, he pulled away so that she could talk to Nymph. She asked him to stay with Nymph and he nodded. Pulling her into his arms for a moment he kissed her. To show he was there for her. He pulled away upon hearing the young girl. He stepped away so Lily could hug her. Lily turned to speak to them, before she left he hugged her close once more. “I will be here.” He whispered into her ear before kissing her cheek. Pulling away he wiped a few more tears again. He cupped her cheek while staring down at her with his blue eyes. “I love you.” After that she was gone.“Lets get inside.” He said aloud to everyone before putting his arm around Nymph. He would force her inside he he had to. Her mother wanted her here. He had to keep her there. Before they entered, Ana commented that she was staying outside the doors to keep watch, just incase. “Mom, I will stay here with you.” Alden said and Ana pointed towards the door. “Inside.” He nodded at her words and did what she said. Clyde lead them all to the living area with couches and a fireplace. The same place where Lily and him had first made love. “Here, sit down. I will build a fire.” The elemental said leading Nymph to the couch. After, he leaned down at the fireplace and lit it. “I am going to get our breakfast, everyone needs to eat something Alden, stay with Nymph please.” With that Clyde was off to the kitchen. The room was silent as Alden stared over at Nymph. “So you’re part demon.” He started, not wanting the silence anymore. “How was your awakening?” He asked as he remembered his own. It was painful and he felt like he was being ripped apart from the inside. He wondered what her’s was like. “And what is with the water you were talking about with Uncle Clyde?” He asked, just trying to make conversation. He was also interested in her.

Nymph’s sleepy eyes peeked up at Clyde. She took the bread and bit into it. “But Daddy,” obviously she was messing with him from her voice tone. “Last night was rough. Could hardly sleep… Do I have to get in THAT water.” She honestly didn’t feel like putting herself through the pain.
“Yes Nymphaea,” The sword was never too far from her. It was leaning against one of the stoves. “Your blood requires you to do the bath every day.” Nymph began to roll her eyes as she stretched. “And stop being vulgar you are a half demon, not an animal.”
“Yes, Yaeger.” She left the dad out on him since it was more shock value. The sixteen-year-old pulled herself off the stool and stood up to stretch more. “Guess I’ll take the stupid bath. Can you watch Yaeger Clyde?” She pointed to the sword. “I don’t know… make sure it doesn’t move. I’ve never caught the sword moving on its own but it could.” She left them and Yaeger was sighing.
“How… did she become such a brat.” That was the sound of a confused father. “She was such a good girl until the demonic awakening a few years ago.”
-
Lily laughed a bit, “I was never one for a warning I didn’t think I could handle.” It was her next words that made Lily turn sheet white. Everything began to make sense and she found herself sitting down. “Thank you, Ana.” A smile came to her face. She took the tea and blew on it before sipping. “You know I don’t know how Clyde will take naming our child after you without him even knowing.”
After a while, she felt better and she got up to get dressed. “Well, no time like the present to go tell Clyde he’s a father.” She chuckled a bit as she had heard the tone he took with Nymphaea. “He did say we came together or not at all.” She playfully teased. Once Lily was truly proper she went down stairs. Nymph wasn’t too far behind her. She took a transformation if there ever was one with Nymph.
Her brown hair was long and in many loose curls, her skin had a shining factor like her mother’s, she wore a black corset, pants, and then her boots. She meandered over to the store to put Yaeger around her belt on the back. “Were you a good sword?” Nymph teased.
A sigh left Yaeger and Lily shook her head. “Stop tormenting your father.” Lily’s voice was stern and Nymph softly shrugged it off.
Rowan burst into the door and into the kitchen. He was panting hard as he tried to catch his breath. “It’s Aunt Angela. The sky!” Rowan pointed and the kitchen was soon empty as everyone made it out of the house in time to see Angela explode into millions of crystals.
“ANGELA,” Lily cried out. There had been a smile she was sure of it. “What the fuck was she thinking,” the words were unusual for Lily who was normally classy and not vulgar like her mother. “I need to head over to Angela’s Court. Everyone stay here.”
Nymph protested, “I want to go.”
“Absolutely not.” Lily was stern. “Clyde you help make sure she doesn’t leave. I don’t know play house.” There was absolute frustration in her voice.
“Auntie Lily,” Kirika was now there. Her long black hair was so elegantly shaped her body but it was her blue eyes that were in pain. “It’s not fair.” Lily hugged her niece who was crying.
“Get it out of you… We have to go see Angela’s son now. Be strong.” Lily wiped her own tears away as she looked back at everyone. “We will be a bit… Please don’t burn the house done. I’ll be back.” Down the road were Toya and a white haired Cathrine, someone Clyde hadn’t meet before. They were all going.
Once they were out of sight it was Nymphaea who spoke. "I don't envy Lucian right now. I've heard stories about where he's going…"

Ana wasn’t even at the stairs when the sleepy Nymph came down stairs. And fought back a laugh and waved the the child. She didn’t bother to have small talk and headed up the stairs. Her son on the other hand, he stared. He kept his face expressionless to not show what he was thinking. “Wow….Hot.” He thought as she walked right passed him and Clyde who wasn’t surprised by Nymph at all. Before he could introduce himself a voice came from the stairs. His eyes looked over to the well mannered boy. Clyde looked up as well and said hello before Rowan started to speak to his sister. Then her words flew out of herself, making Clyde sigh. “One day I will get her to act like a lady.” Clyde thought with a laugh, these thoughts didn’t match the ones Alden thought. He was disgusted. “So not hot anymore.” He thought as he looked away from Nymph. He didn’t even bother to watch her walk away. Clyde looked over to Rowan as he started to speak to him. He nodded. “Yes, I will.” He said with a smile. “Have a good time.” Clyde then nodded towards the kitchen. “Come on, help me with breakfast. We have much to catch up on.” He said smiling at his nephew who he watch grow up. His hand came around and patted Alden on back then walked with him into the kitchen with his arm around his shoulders. The elemental dropped his arm from him when they entered, a sigh escaping his lips. Nymph was passed out on the bar counter with something in her mouth. Droll already leaking from her mouth. This was definitely not lady like. “Nymph!!!” He called out to her with a tone of a father. “Get yourself cleaned up.” It was then he saw that it was bread. “Or I will throw you in the bath like before.” With that he turned to start breakfast. Alden was on the sausage while Clyde cooked the eggs and bread.
Upstairs, Ana knocked on the door of the room. Hearing Lily’s voice, she entered. The smell of throw up filled the air as she closed the door behind her. The first thing her eyes saw was the ring. “You don’t take heed to warnings do you.” She sighed and accepted it. Mostly because she knew what was going on the instant she walked in. “Marry him. As long as I get to see my niece or nephew I don’t care what you do.” She smiled over to the woman who would soon become her sister in law. “Clyde is making breakfast, I wouldn’t go down there until after, or the smell will make you puke more. Morning sickness is the worst.” She paused and went to the door. “I will be back with a morning cure.” With that she left and headed down the stairs. She just arrived when Clyde yelled at Nymph. She couldn’t help but laugh.Clyde didn’t bother to look what she was doing, maybe she was making tea for herself? Ana made some lemon ginger tea and headed back upstairs. Entering the room once more, she walked over to the pregnant Lily. “I think you should name the child after me. Since you know I am the most awesome Aunt ever.” She smiled at Lily as she handed her the tea. Sitting down on a chair near her she looked over the woman. “Drink that, it will help.”

In the morning Nymph was the second one awake. Her long brown curls were in a disastrous mess as they frizzed out due to the heat. Her brown eyes were absolutely groggy and her nightgown was falling off her shoulders. Her bare feet slapped against the floor as she came down the stairs and groggily looked at the two people who came into her home. “The fuck…” The words were a yawn as she stretched.
“Good morning Clyde.” She rubbed at her eyes as she pushed past everyone. “Hello, Ana.” She wasn’t too rude. “Hello, whoever you are.”
“Well aren’t you just a ray of sunshine this morning.” Rowan was next down the stairs. Unlike his sister, he was well taken care of. His manners were better and he was dressed for the day. “With company and a young man in the house you shouldn’t be dressed like that.” He lectured Nymph.
“Oh… go fuck yourself, Rowan.” Nymph was still groggy as she went into the kitchen for her own breakfast. The distant ranting of things like it was her house and they invaded could be heard.
Rowan blinked a bit and shook his head. “I’m going out can you tell Mother Clyde? I promised I would read to the orphanage today. I do apologize for my little sister she is quite temperamental.” Like that the eldest son was gone. A shining example of what Lily could do with a child. However, her second child was trying to ransack the kitchen.
Meanwhile upstairs Lily was getting sick into the empty wash bowl that she had managed to make it to. When Ana knocked on the door Lily looked up. “You can come in.” She spoke in between her upset stomach. “I’m sorry I’m not in a better way this morning.” Lily was dressed as well as she could be. She waved with the hand that housed her new ring.

The elemental didn’t let the anger from the day before rise inside him. This was supposed to be a happy moment and it was. The most happiest he had ever been. He smiled up at her from his spot. “I love you, in addition I care for Nymph as well. You and her come together or not at all. “He smiled as he cupped her cheek. “She might be a rebellious half demon, but I like her and feel we can have a bond one day.” Clyde took the ring from the book and slipped it onto her finger. He smiled up at her before their lips kissed. “We will figure it out all in good time.” He whispered against her lips, but before he could kiss her, she said she loved him. “I love you.” He said against her lips before connecting them. He picked her up from the chair, his lips didn’t leave her’s as he took her to the flower petal covered bed. This moment was different, it was filled with all the love they had for eachother. Even their eyes showed their love as they looked at each other as they made love. Soon after they finished, he soon fell asleep. Not getting sleep would get to a man after using a lot of effort to please their loved one.The morning showed brightly in the windows. Blinking his eyes, he sat up. Looking down at her sleeping face, he smiled down at her. With a kiss on the cheek, he got out of bed and dressed. “Maybe I could make her breakfast before she wakes.” He thought to himself as he headed down stairs. Right before he entered the kitchen he heard a knock at the door. ‘It was barely morning, who could that be?” He thought as he headed towards the door. Opening it he saw his sister. “Ana.” She pushed passed him as she entered the house. “It’s done.” She said as she looked around the house. “We’ll isn’t this quaint.” She was serious about her comment. “Uncle Clyde. It’s been too long.” A young man entered the door, and Clyde hugged him close. “Alden! It’s been only a year and you have grown! You're almost as tall as me!” Clyde said cheerfully as he patted the boys back. The boy was just over six feet tall. His features soft, not touched by age. His eyes a grayish blue. A thin scar was over his right eye. His hair was just about to his shoulders and a dark brown. He wore a black and white coat that hang softly, His pants black with black boots and black gloves. A red sash was over his shoulder and around his waist. Black leather belts hanged over his hips holding two swords, a katana and a shorter one. Alden gave a small smile to his uncle and stepped inside. “I was just about to make breakfast. Come join me Alden. Ana want to head upstairs and see if Lily is awake?” He asked. She nodded and he told her what door it was. WIth a sigh, she headed up the stairs. No matter what she said he wasn’t going to let her go. Apparently she was a keeper. Little did the sister know how much of a keeper Lily was.

Lily laughed a bit, “Believe it or not Nymph is very sweet. She treats everyone like that so they don’t notice how soft she is. She doesn’t want to be seen as weak. We only broke her for the moment. I’m sure she’ll be back to her usual self soon.”
She stared at the book and smiled up at him. “This is so beautiful.” She turned the cover and read what he wrote to her. If her eyes could soften anymore they did. Her eyes teared up a bit even if she knew that it was coming. It was everything that she had wanted and his words spoke to her quite well.
Her fingers played with the ring as she looked up at him. She laughed and leaned forwards to him so she could kiss him. “I already said yes.” She kissed his forehead after that and laughed more. “To be honest, knowing you were going to propose actually pissed me off more that they interrupted.” Her words were soft. “He threw it in my face and made it seem like we were never going to tell each other that. I have faith in you and Nymph. I know… that you can be the father that Nymphaea needs. If… that is what you want.”
She let Clyde put the ring on her finger and she admired it. “It’s so beautiful.” She admitted. She loved everything that Clyde got her since it was always so thoughtful. She kissed him again and smiled. “Suppose we should plan, shouldn’t we? I suppose we should do a grand celebration. Something to be remembered. We can invite almost all of our family. Though I don’t think there is room enough for all of mine.”
She held his hands and there was a happy sigh that left her lips as she found herself lost for words now. “I love you, Clyde.” They were the only words she could get out in her bliss.

Clyde looked at her, his mind seemed to clear of all worry as he looked at her. He smiled softly at her. He laughed a bit at her comment about the blood. “I was worried about you, I woke before you did, and I honestly thought you weren’t going to wake up for a moment there..” He fought a frown as he thought of his thoughts since he woke. He took another bite of his chicken, chewed and took a sip of wine. It was wonderful. “Always the best here in Arri.” He thought as he took another sip. Lily spoke about Nymph and he nodded. “Maybe cause I don’t put up with her childish tantrums.” He said with a laugh thinking of then he threw her into the bath just a few days ago. He paused as he started to take a bite and put the silverware down. “She was really worried about you.” He smiled as he thought of the past few weeks. “You both have come a very long way since the first time I met you. She seemed to hate you. Now she was so worried about her mother she didn’t want to eat or sleep. It was very surprising.” He finished his bite he was going to take and chewed. Hearing the words of his lover, he fought the urge to cough. Keeping his calm gentle demeanor, he stared at her over the candle. “We are celebrating life?” He said but laughed a bit after. She knew exactly what was going on. She did see the ring after all. He cleared his throat and put down his silverware. “I wanted to make you feel special..” He smile at her before he stood up to receive a gift for her he left on the nightstand. It was hidden behind the roses he bought earlier. He wrapped it with burlap and twine. Walking over to her he handed it to her, “This is for you.” He smiled and didn’t take his seat. He waited for her to open it. As soon as she opened it, it was a white leather bound journal, painted yellow flowers decorated it. “Open it.” He said softly. In his fancy scripted writing, it read on the first page:Lily Rose,We both have been through so muchBut I promise to love and cherish you. You are the best person to enter my life.I would rather spend a lifetime with you than face all the ages of this world alone.I, Clyde Lucius Vladimir, choose you to be my wife. In the middle of the page was the page marker, a yellow silk string tied around a ring. The ring he chose for her.As soon as she would look up from the page, she would see him kneeled before her. “Lily Rose, Be my wife?” He smiled up at her with loving eyes.

Nymphaea helped her mother out of the tub after she was done. Dressed her in something comfortable and brushed her long blonde hair out. “Gently…” She repeated to herself as she brushed the hair out. She was careful to be gentle with any knots. Lily looked proud of her as they left the washroom.
Lily’s face lit up and a blush soon followed. “Ever the romantic my love.” A laugh left her lips as he shooed Nymph out of the room.
“Don’t want to be in the love birds’ way anyways.” She stuck her tongue playfully out at Clyde before running down to the kitchen to get the room.
Lily chuckled a bit. “She’s taken a liking to you. Consider yourself lucky since she doesn’t really like anyone.” She took his hand back and kissed his cheek lightly. She sat down at the table and looked at the food before her. “This all looks so beautiful and good.” She commented on the petals and candles.
She smiled over the candle back as she began to eat the food as well. She lifted the wine glass up and toasted him before drinking that lightly. “You never cease to amaze me. I was more worried about you when I woke up and smelled blood! Well, blood that wasn’t mine.” She frowned lightly. “But I am glad they were able to patch you up. I imagine Nymph hasn’t slept much since everything happened.”
A chuckle left her lips as she tilted her head. “What’s the occasion anyways?” She had already said yes was he actually going to go through the motions? Of course, he was.

As Clyde closed the door behind him, he heard the laughter inside, it brought a smile to his face. He leaned against the door for a moment as he listened to them. It warmed his heart to see them come together. The first time he met them, they were at each other's throats. He was glad they could laugh together. Pushing off the door, he headed down the stairs, before his boot hit the last step, he heard Nymph’s voice call down to him. He let out a laugh as he walked out the door. He took his time walking towards the bazaar. He wanted to do something special for the woman he loved and ask her to marry him the proper way. Somehow she had found out about the ring, it was laying right next to her when he found her. He couldn’t stop grinning as he moved through the city. His whistle filled the air, it was a cheerful tune he learned as a child.Clyde soon stopped his whistling as he entered the bazaar. People was still solem, then didn’t know their queen had awakened. “She rises and is grateful for the day!” He called over them as he held his hands up. The faces turned to smile and the music started to play. People cheered loving that the moment of silence was over. Their queen was alive. With a smile, the elemental moved through the now busy bazaar.“Today is a great day.” The roseman cheered as Clyde approached. “Yes!” Clyde replied as he grabbed a dozen white and a dozen red roses. He handed the man some coins and moved on to the next thing he needed to buy. The candle maker stood behind his candles shouting for people to buy. As Clyde came up to him, he asked what he needed. “About 20 cream large to medium candles but only one slim long one.” The man nodded and hurried to put his purchases into a tote for him to carrie. Next was food. He grabbed a few things of chicken, knowing he nymph would be hungry as well. He got the chicken that was already defeathered, skinned and cut. He got a few potatoes, some asparagus, and bread. Paid up and then headed back to the house. The elemental didn’t bother going up stairs, but got the chicken cooking over the fire. As that cooked, he snuck into her bedroom. He heard them in the washroom laughing. He smiled as he started to pull a mixture of white and red petals off their stems and onto the bed, table, dresser and nightstands, even some on the floor. Grabbing one small vase from the kitchen, he put that in the center of the table in her bedroom, one red rose and one white. He also lit the fireplace, then he was finished with the room. He left the curtains open to let in the starlight. With that, Clyde hurried down stairs to finish cooking their meal. He hurried down to the wine cellar and then poured 3 glasses of wine. He smiled, hopefully Nymph didn’t tell her mom. He left her plate in the the kitchen as he headed up to the room. He set up their dinner then stood by the table and was just in time as they walked out of the bathroom. “Get out of here Nymph, your dinner is in the kitchen.” He said with a smile, then walked over to Lily. He took her hand and sat her down at the table. “Dinner, MiQueen. Enjoy.” He said with a smile then sat before her to eat. "I am really glad you are alright." He smiled over the burning candle at her.

“It doesn’t look like a little scratch Clyde.” Lily could still smell the blood that wasn’t her own.
Nymph nodded to him, “I can hold the fort while you leave.” There was a smirk as Lily rolled her eyes. She wouldn’t dare try to get out of bed right now and worry them both. At least not by herself. “Alright, alright. Payback is a bitch ain’t it Mom.” There was a sly smile on her daughter's face.
Reaching underneath the bed Lily pulled out a pail. Nymph put her hands up. “WHERE THE FUCK DO YOU KEEP THOSE.” With a smirk, Lily put the pail of holy water next to the bed and Nymph was in shock. “You wouldn’t dare throw it on me without needing a reason.”
“You give me plenty of reasons to smack you in the head with a pail of holy water. Your mouth is one of them.”
“I liked her better when she was sleeping,” Nymph yelled at Clyde in distress. Though it didn’t last for long as Nymph laid her head in her mother’s lap while Lily ate. After she was done eating she spent time stroking Nymph’s long dark hair.
“You were a good girl for Clyde right? You didn’t give him any trouble?” Lily looked down and eyed her child with a smile. “Not too much trouble right?”
Nymph grunted and snuggled into her. “He picked me up and threw me in a bath.” They both had a laugh together before Nymphaea helped her mother into the bath. She carefully cleaned Lily’s long hair. “It’s just like when you bathe my hair for me.”
Lily laughed a bit. “Not so hard Nymph. You gotta be gentle. Try lighter strokes.” Nymph looked distressed for a moment as she tried to be more gentle with her mother’s hair. “That’s much better. See you can control it when you want to.”

Clyde’s eyes blinked open, his eyes opened to a sunshine lit room. His eyes squinted shut for a moment as his eyes adjusted. Blinking his eyes again, he looked over to the woman beside him. He sighed. How long had he been asleep? And why hadn’t she woken? As he tried to sit up, pain shot threw his side. He fought the urge to curse as he got out of bed. He dressed in his clean pressed clothes then made his way back to Lily. He frowned as he pushed a strand of hair from her face. Leaning down he kissed her head and walked out of them room.As soon as nymph saw him leave, she rushed into the room to lay beside her mother. He looked at the moment she was having. A girl who wanted to grow up, but became a little girl when her mother was hurt. The things she must be feeling in that moment. With a sigh, he closed the door softly behind him. He left her alone and headed down stairs. He needed some fresh air. Her needed to get his nerves in control, but first he needed some paper. Going into the study, he found some paper, quill and ink. He took the time to write his sister. He needed her. Dear Anastasia,Lily and I were Kidnapped and attacked. We are all right now. Please come I need to ask a favor Of you. With love, Your BrotherClyde paused as he look up towards the bright sunny sky. He held up the note and sent it to his sister the same way he sent one to Lily. With that he headed to the bazaar, he wanted to buy some roses to set next to Lily’s bed. When he reach the bazaar, everyone was silent. They were all worried about their queen. He walked in silence as he headed into the man who sold the flowers. “Has the queen awoken yet?” The seller asked as he saw Clyde. Everyone was finally knowing who he was. Clyde shook his head in response and picked up some bright yellow flowers. “They are hopefuly she will wake. Her body needs to heal.” Clyde said as he handed the man a few coins. He ended up shaking his head. “No. They are for the queen. Take them to her.” The man held up his hand, he wouldn’t accept any money. With a nod, Clyde headed back to the manor. When he arrived, his sister stood beside the door. She looked out at him with a solemn face. “Is she alright?” She asked and Clyde explained everything that happened. He asked her to look for the men who wanted this all done, and she nodded. He needed to stay with the queen.Hugging his sister, he said goodbye and headed into the house. It wasn’t long until he found a vase in the kitchen and made his way back up room she laid in. He put the flowers next to Lily o her nightstand. He noticed the Nymph hadn’t moved from her spot on the bed. He decided to sit on a chair nearby and wait with her. He didn’t move only to use the washroom. The servants took their food to them. Days passed until she woke up. He shot up from his spot on the chair and stood silently as mother and daughter hugged. He smiled down at Lily and nodded. She spoke again and he smiled. “I am alright just a little scratch.” He paused in his words as she said yes. He was thrilled but he wanted to do ask her in a special way. “Nymph, look after your mother. I am going to get her some food.” With that he rushed out of the room and headed into the kitchen. He made her the same soup as before as the healer made her way up to the room. With a smile went up to the room and put her food onto the nightstand. “Nymph, can you help your mother eat? I have to run out really fast.” He said with a smile and gave Lily a quick kiss. “Wash her up too later. You kind of smell, love.” He joked and left to the bazaar again.

The healers were quick to try to tend to Clyde’s wounds. They moved him into the bed with Lily after he was all bandaged up with salve and all. Nymph, on the other hand, was huffing and puffing as she undressed from damp cold clothes after her bath. She was shivering as she put fresh on. “I’m gonna cut him.” She seethed a bit but he had been like a father to her almost. That much made her smile a bit. She wouldn’t be easy on him about that.
Once she found out that he had been hurt she ran up to the room and tended to him. He didn’t take nearly as long as her mother to wake up. As soon as he was up Nymph laid down on the other side of the bed with Lily. Her head of brown curls were snuggled into her mother’s chest.
So for two days she sat by her bed and waited. Nymph was passing in and out of consciousness on the bed next to her mother. She was like a little kid as she laid there just out of her mother’s grasps. When Lily did wake up she let out a groan. “I’ve got the worst ache ever on my head.”
Nymphaea sprung up and hugged her. “I didn’t think you would ever wake up. I was so scared Mama.” Lily hugged the girl and gave Clyde a smile. “Are you okay?”
“Groggy… and in pain but otherwise, I’m fine.” Lily kissed her daughter’s head. “Are you alright Clyde?” Then there was something devious in her eyes. "Yes." That was all she had to say to him and his ring.

Clyde was quick to enter the gate with Lily in his arms. She still hadn’t woken up, and he was wishing she would open her eyes already. They made their way quick into the manor and up to her room. As he laid her down onto the bed, he kissed her head and whispered into her ear, “Don’t you die on me, love.” He stepped away quickly and let the healer do their job. Nymph was the one to start to pace the room, he quickly moved infront her and put his hands on her shoulders to ground her. She needed to be grounded. She needed to know someone was there for her when her mother wasn’t. “Just breath, Nymph. She will wake up. I know it. “ He gave her a tight hug. “You should go wash up…” He paused as he looked into her eyes. She hadn’t had her bath yet. That was why she lost so much control. “You need to take your bath…” He knew she would fight against him with this. A daughter would always want to be by their mother’s side until they were better. “Your mother needs you to.” With that he walked over to Lily once more to kiss her head. He was going to clean up as well, and call Ana. Maybe she could search down the men they were working for if any. He sighed as he looked over to the reluctant Nymph. “Is her bath drawn?” He asked the servant near by. It only took one nod and he was soon next to Nymph. “You leave me no choose, child.” Throwing him over his shoulder, he followed the servant who showed him the way to her bath. He didn’t bother to put down the kicking and screaming nymph. He nodded to the servant as they opened the door and left. They knew what was about to happen. Walking into the bath, he tossed Nymph into the bath, clothes and all. He pointed down to her with stern eyes. He wanted to say the words that were in his mind. 'You almost killed your mother.' But her knew that would hurt her too much. Instead he said, “Bathe.” With that word, he turned around and shut the door behind him. He leaned back against the side of the door and let out a breath. He relaxed a bit. He needed to let his body calm now. Maybe a bath would help him as well? As soon as he moved his leg to walk, pain shot up his side. Moving open his jacket, he sighed. There was a large gash on his right side. Blood was absorbed in his jacket, shirt and top of his pants. He finally felt the coolness of the blood that trickled down his leg. How much blood had he lost? Clyde’s thoughts were answered as he fell to the ground. Darkness taking him.

Nymph was quick to shut her flames down and run after Clyde. She helped him with her mother before getting them back to Arri. “I need a healer to check out her head!” The court was not in an uproar as Clyde and Nymph got her up into her bedroom. Clyde put her gently down on the bed and Nymph had never ever seen her mother that fragile looking.
Healers came up and washed up the mark. If Angela had been feeling better this would have been over right then and there. “She’s got a bad bump. She might be out for a few days. The force he hit her with would have killed a human.” The healer commented and Nymph got antsy.
“Can you fix her?” Nymph's voice was squeaking now as she got even more worried about her mother. She was quite literally pacing the floor at that point.
“Nothing we can do but patch that up and wait for her to wake up,” the healer cleaned the queen up and bandaged where she had to.
