Had the situation played out differently, had the prior consequences of her actions not played out at all and her sister was still in the living world, then she would have been overly ecstatic about her reunion with Blaine. As he lifted her up and hugged her tightly, she allowed a brief smile to etch across her face, though as joyous as this should have been, she couldn’t truly enjoy it. Not with knowing that their sister was beneath the cold, damp ground. Still, she returned the hug and was released to observe him. Blaine had definitely grown older and seemingly more mature than before. She suppose marriage and children would do that for a reckless and childish man like he had been. But she could give credit to where it was due- he stepped up when it came to his wife and his pups. Time had been rather kind for him out of all of the Wintercrest children.“I do not know what happened, Blaine. I’ve been wandering long before arriving in this world, it’s still a blur for me in trying to piece together what had happened. Are you alright? And your wife? What about my nephew and nieces. If she could recall correctly, they still had at least one of them still living with them until she was old enough. Paige stared at him, a bit dumbstruck in believing she found her brother. With that, the seed of guilt had started to sprout in her over Misty but then she turned her attention back to him and shook her head. “It’s been a long time ago, don’t beat yourself over it. The vampire had been slain, and now I am a child of the night. It wasn’t your fault and it did help to serve as a lesson for me.” It taught her that she had to be strong in this world, for it was cruel and cold. She couldn’t have depended on help from family forever- she had to learn to protect herself and chase the scary things away.
The news of Krystopher and Moliira arriving here was bittersweet as well; she was happy that the two were alive and were doing well now, but the guilt only crept up inside her more. “I’ve spent some time trying to answer such questions. I haven’t learned of a straightforward answer, but we must have been gated here. Unfortunately I fear that such power and magic of that magnitude would be hard to imitate, if even possible.”
She looked around as a few of the women that passed them by were giving him passing glances, looks that she as well as he were aware of their meanings. “Is there a place we can speak in private?” She was hoping that he had a house or something where they could keep on with their conversation without having to worry about wandering eyes and open ears.

If there was one thing Blaine hated, it was to go out on errands and do the shopping, especially around these parts. For one thing, he found himself hounded by some of the women, following him for brief moments before others would carry on in their place. It annoyed him and it wasn't good…for them should Latoya found out. Which…she would end up doing so anyway and he had to talk her out of ripping off their heads or something. The second reason was that he wasn't allowed to take his weapons with him, which made the old mercenary feel naked. He might as well have been strolling out on the streets the same way he came into the world. Unfortunately that would not only not solve the first problem, it would have made that all the more worse.
He was out on his own mission to retrieve some of the herbs and spices she needed, never mind that their daughter could have done it. And he was charged with finding a specific shop that she visited frequently. Groaning inwardly, he searched up and down the city, passing by store after store while avoiding today's distractions.
"Where is this place? he groaned as he passed by one shop he came across a few minutes ago.
"Am I going backwards? Damn it, Toya…" He was about ready to call it a night and simply go to one of the places and buy the stuff there. She wouldn't be able to tell, right? He stopped and looked around, hoping to spot one soon when he felt someone bump into him. Another groan slipped out, imagining that it was another lust struck rosenite when he heard her voice. It sounded familiar, but didn't at the same time to him and he turned around to see the woman. She definitely didn't appear to like the women of this city- She was much more paler in comparison and she wore darker clothing from head to toe. His brow rose when she called out his name, and it took a few more moments longer than it should have before he started to get the picture.
"Paige." Soon his mood lightened and he wrapped his arms around her waist and lifted her up off the ground.
"Where the hell have you been!?" he asked in his excitement before putting her down. It had been ages, even before they came to these lands, since he had saw her. Of course he had heard from Krys that she had been attacked by a vampire and was turned. His joy faded as he looked at her and felt her face. It was much cooler, but not enough to claim that she had died.
"Sister…I'm sorry about what had happened to you…I should have been there to protect you." Still, it was a miracle that she had made it over here too, and that gave him hope that the last sibling of their family would be found and that everything would be closer to being okay. There were still the situation with the other three children of his, but they should be able to be fine. They were all stubborn just like him, after all.
"Krystopher and Moliira will be happy to hear that you are here", he said with a warm smile again.
"We just saved his ass from her doppelganger sometime ago. Do you know of these lands? They differ from ours, but at the same time, they are similar."

It had been the place that both she and Misty had agreed to go to in their search for their brothers and other pack members. It had been the logical choice at the time, or so Paige had believed as she recalled the brief conversation she had with her late sister back at the tavern.
"Are we sure that they'd be there? I swear we searched nearly everywhere and haven't found a trace of them…", Misty had complained as she sipped her ale.
"Aye, they have to be. Or least Blaine would be. Remember the stuff he was telling us about his wife and her homeland? This Arri may mirror the one from our home, which means that either they will be there, or at least someone would know of them, right?", Paige insisted. But it wasn't enough to fully convince the other she-wolf as she replied with a dull look.
"I guess. What if we don't find anything there?"It is our only choice, and when we reach that point, then we will deal with it. We don't have anything to lose from this, right?"This would be the last time they would be able to speak to one another without clouded minds, without worrying about the other perishing. Without having to be haunted by the memories of having to bury her siblings. Midnight blue eyes looked onward, dull from the lack of emotion she carried from the latest events of her life as she made it through the gates of the city and was silent in her movement. The disheveled looking woman passed by many people, but did not ask a single question. There was no pleading to see if anyone knew of either of her brothers, or of the rosenites she knew were family. There was no need to- she subtly sniffed at the air, hoping to caught even the faintest of scents of a wolf. Through the elegant scents of the city's people, mixed in with various smells of perfume and food, she ceased movement temporary as she caught one hidden through the wave of smells. It wasn't a strong one, but it was enough to convince her that one of those knuckleheads she called brother was here. Given the situation, she was convinced that it was the younger of the two.
Finding the strength to go on, Paige continued onward, following the scent as it grew and filled her nose and in turn, filled her mind with bittersweet memories of back when their family was together. Sure, it wasn't perfect, but for her, it was. And now everything was shattered and broken. She would have to bear the responsibility to the others of Misty's demise and how it came to be. Her throat became drier with every step- she wasn't completely prepared for this, but it had to be done. She had to continue on with the mission and find the rest of the family. Far too distracted for her own good, Paige hadn't noticed that some man standing in front of a store was in her path until she bumped into him.
"Sorry…", she started, looking up to him as he turned around. The moment she saw his eyes, she knew who he was and just stared at him in disbelief.
"Blaine…"
