Sealed deep within the Baltil Mountains lies the temple which contained the imperious dragon Zao. Built from volcanic stone and surrounded by molten magma, it has lain dormant for millennia. The dwarven god of the forge Zujiuchu bound the black-scaled tyrant with powerful chains within the great stone structure so that he would never see the light of day again. However, due to unexpected circumstances, the bindings that held Zao have come undone, releasing the elder dragon back into the world.
