He’d chosen well when he’d agreed to the Vixen’s query regarding a position in the Observatory. She had not asked to be his personal assistant exactly, but Raith had swiftly realised her potential. Flirt though she was he could tell she was loyal, Syn knew her place in his Halls just as the others in his employ did. It wasn’t as though he looked to deceive them, once in Raith’s domain things were straightforward - it was his way or not at all. It was that simple.
Raith nodded, acknowledging the fact that she’d heard him and would obey, not that he expected any less from the woman.

There was was a shift in Syn’s body weight that sent new vibrations through the Deity, though the shift in the air could have told him exactly what she was feeling even without his domain being his personal alert system to every small change within it. ”She will get what is coming to her Syn, have no fear of that. Precautions must be made until that day comes however, I don’t fear her, but I fear for Alairia and Dala, Silence on the other hand worries for all of us,” he snorted, addressing the unspoken issue. They had never directly discussed the situation with Xyaban, only that she was a threat to his Queen and his daughter, he was sure that others within his Halls could tell her what had happened, he wished to move past it.

”I look forward to seeing your chosen members, it need not be Vampiric alone of course, if you find like-minded individuals to join the Court then I give you full permission to add them to our number. I will construct a wing in our Halls for them, with an appropriate Council Room for you to conduct business out of the way of prying eyes. Our Pilgrims need not know who is amongst the Court, let them think my staff mere servants, all the better to surprise them should trouble arise.”

There was a light chuckle in response to the God’s words. ”I would never dishonor you or my Lady with such trivial matters. The appreciation is true and deep for the consideration I have already received from you both.”. There was a slightly dipped bow made towards him. When she looked up at his canine smile, she gave him one in return that had a deviousness to it that could only be only be given by a true temptress. Syn had heard of the god’s reputation, as well as the reputation of the engagement between his beloved and himself. Only those that were insane would have tried to actually tempt the Master of Wrath. The vixen was not insane. It was all in good fun to have her attempts to flirt with a god though, and she couldn’t pass up a bit of fun.

At the additional instructions she was already motioning to the servants that were hidden in the shadows to do as directed. Alairia would have already been in the garden to work on her latest batch of herbs for her mother’s store. The realm of summer had been created to allow the Lady a place of sanctuary and production. It was also a sight that was safest to grow constant production without all the changes and plagues that seemed to infest Revaliir. ”I will have Lady Alairia served at once, Master.”

Notes were scrawled into her journal as the solutions were charted out for her. She was grateful that certain resources were already put into her possession. Syn had been able to talk herself into and out of many situations, but this one was quite different then anyone had ever done before. There was a canine fanged smirk when Raith mentioned the unworthy pilgrims to be dispatched. She knew that there would be a conversation to send a few her way for a nice light snack.

Suspicion. Suspicious even in his own home. Syn felt her teeth grind before she even realized she was doing it. There had been the subtle gossip chain of what had happened to Raith and Alairia before his Ascension. A dragoness had stolen them in order to commit atrocities to the pair. It had left scars deeper than the ones upon Alairia’s otherwise flawless features. Syn hoped to bring the situation to a conclusion with the creature’s head mounted upon the throne room wall.

With the last of her notes taken, her journal was snapped shut to disappear back to its place in her room. Surprise glistened in her golden eyes at the request placed at her feet. That surprise quickly melted into exhilaration. To form a Court of loyal liked beings…it was something that few were able to accomplish. She had heard of the Dark Lord’s own vampire and werewolf clan, but this could be grander. Syn would see to that. ”My Lord…I am gravely honored by the task you have put before me. I will bring you a Coven that you can be proud of.”. Tongue flicked over her fang as the concept sunk deeper. This would be highly enjoyable. More so if anyone did not come up to standard, she could eat them.

He nodded in response, only half listening to the Vampiress’ answer. ”Good, don’t expect me to ask again, my courtesy only stretches so far. If you require anything else just ask myself or Lady Alairia directly. I cannot abide people pussy footing around a subject, then again, you already know that,” he snorted, ‘looking’ up at the woman and giving her a smirk on one side of his mouth, revealing one long canine. Silence turned his head toward the woman, eyeing her for a moment before the Drake nodded his head, eyes trained upon her as he sent the image to his Master. Raith recognised the woman’s beauty but she could not hold a candle to his beloved Queen.

Raith smiled, perceptive bugger wasn’t she. ”I’m fine, though I will never say no to a glass of wine. Get one for yourself and send one to Ria with a pot of tea, I’m not sure if she will want wine or tea at the moment,” his beloved was never far from his mind, regardless of what he was doing at the time.

”Send the Seven into Raiqi, let them sniff out the Pilgrims worthy enough in the Packs eyes to visit and we shall escort them the rest of the way, the rest the Seven can dispatch however they see fit. I commend the fools for having staying power at least,” he snorted. He had shown Syn how to summon the various Celestials under his command with the bells assigned to each of them in the Observatory above them, she could call the Pack and issue his orders - the Seven would know the word came from their Master if Syn had been instructed to use the bell.

Silence sat up slowly, eyes fixed on the wine - his Master could smell it, but the Drake had no intention of letting him drink without checking it first. Forked tongue flickered from his mouth, tasting the steam rising from the cup, barely touching the liquid itself. Once satisfied he sat back down, an indication it was safe. Xyaban was crafty and could not be trusted. Taking up the cup Raith took a sip, continuing to listen. ”Agreed, that is acceptable. There is something else I would like to put in your care Syn, I want to set up a Vampire Court within our Halls - much like yourself they will act as servants while being secretly trained to protect our realm. I trust you to find, and lead, this Court Syn. They must be loyal.”

A pouty lip was displayed as she popped one hip out to the side in response to the Lord’s words. His voice was sultry, and anyone that said differently was deaf & dumb. ”You are too kind, my lord. I have everything I could ever dream of, and I appreciate the kindness received from yourself and my Lady Alairia.”. The sound of her heels on the floor gave away her movement made towards the throne. Still, she gave enough space to not crowd him. Even if she did find Raith ridiculously attractive, the vixen knew that there would be no actual potential there for her. No, she found Ria already adorable…even if the blonde elf was nervous about the red headed vampiress. Raith would never be the woman’s target.

Flash of a canine smile was given towards Silence along with a golden gazed wink towards the little dragon. Syn found the little thing rather adorable as well. For being the god of Wrath and Heavens, there were a lot of cute beings around him. ”My lord, you are rubbing your temples; are you all right? I can grab you a nice warm red wine to help with a headache.”. Syn turned to one of the ‘invisible’ servants to nod for the wine either way.

”Today, we have a few things on the agenda that we can get done quickly to free up the rest of the day. The list does seem rather long, but it is not as cumbersome upon review.”. A journal appeared in hand along with a quill for her to go over her list.

It had not taken long for Syn to find necessary projects to be addressed within the Observatory. She wanted to make her position invaluable. Gold orbs scanned her list of ‘to-dos’ before reading them off. ”First, we need to look into the maze. It seems that there were a few ‘lost pilgrims’ that have created some small camps. They have not been able to find their way through or back. I want to get your permission to send some of our sentries to clear them out. It is up to you, my Lord, if you would like them escorted here…or send them away.”.

Syn looked up from her notes as the warmed wine was brought to the throne room. She nodded to the boy to place it on the open armrest, though it was to be seen by Silence before placed down. ”Also, we seem to be having an infestation of locusts in the maze…the far right back corner. They seem to be eating the vine walls. I have gotten in contact with an aviary that would be able to bring their birds to clear that up. Is that acceptable?”. She glanced at Silence with a smile before turning her gaze to the man himself.

Mmmm…that chiseled jawline was appealing….

The arrival of, the somewhat aptly named, Syn had caused quite the stir amongst the Observatory. The red haired Vampiress was anything but inconspicuous - if her fiery red mane was not enough to attract attention then her equally shouldering attitude was, or her clothes which often looked as though she felt ready to self-combust at any point…  Alairia had been unconvinced by the Vampiress at first, as his fiancée seemed to be with any woman that wasn’t scarred or mutilated beyond recognition, as though someone like Syn could honestly have turned his head?
She had been annoyingly persuasive about him giving her her own room and becoming his personal assistant, he wasn’t entirely sure how she had managed it but they were where they were - and  irritatingly Syn was good at deflecting Pilgrims Raith had no intention of being near.  Thankfully she had not got everything for free, there had been one condition to her employment - she was to be Ria’s private bodyguard. His love would never agree to having one, and if anyone knew that was who Syn was then she was a target and would be ineffectual at keeping Ria safe properly. Sometimes it was better if everyone didn’t have the same information, Raith knew that better than most.

Syn’s heady scent reached him long before the Vampiress spoke, Raith rubbing his temples, ready to be exasperated. ”Delightful thank you Syn, and yours? I trust you’re properly settled now? Do you require anything else for your room?” he asked, leaning back in his Throne, one hand resting on Silence’s back as he turned his head toward the woman.

Everything was falling into a quite lovely pattern around the Temple. The elegant red headed vampiress had found herself a new home within the temple dedicated to the Heavens and Wrath. It hadn’t been difficult for her to convince the Lord of Scorn that she deserved her own quarters; in fact, it had been one of the easiest conversations she had had in a long time. Syn sat upon a lounge couch that had been placed in her rather spacious set of rooms. Her left arm was draped over the back of the chair as her legs were stretched along the length of the cushions. A plate of red grapes had found itself next to her on the couch, where she plucked one at a time into her mouth. Life was great, and Syn intended for that to continue.

A soft sneeze was audible from the corner of the room where a rather large, fancy pillow had been positioned. There was a curled up red furred fox. Syn’s golden eyes softened while looking upon the fluff ball that had not deign to move despite having sneezed in her sleep. Very few times in the vampiress’ life had her features truly softened. It was usually only tied to the small red vixen.

Syn sighed lightly while pushing away from the back of the lounge chair. The sheer blue fabric robe draped over her shoulders billowed behind her as she crossed the room. Small lace underwear was all she wore beneath the ‘robe’, which suited her delicate yet muscular form perfectly. As she passed by a full length mirror, Syn smiled at her reflection. While becoming the new personal assistant to a god there had been quite a few perks. A newly refurbished wardrobe had been the top of her wish list. Despite all the rumors spread about the Blind God Syn had found he was quite charismatic. His bride-to-be was adorable to boot.

The woman went to your walk-in closet to select the perfect outfit for her first day on the job. Her red painted fingernails traced over the rather large selection until they stopped on a rather small black dress. A devilish grin pulled at her crimson painted lips. Hips wiggled as she slipped into the dress. The bottom of her dress barely covered the curve of her ass, and that style suited her just fine. Black high heeled shoes slipped onto her feet easily. A nice click clack sound resounded as the vampiress walked across the marble floor. Checking her reflection one more time before heading down to the throne room. The reflection showed a lightly tanned slender woman. Long wavy red hair was pulled up in a high ponytail at the back of her head, which showed off the high tips of her pointed ears. Syn had been an elf before she had been turned only a couple of years ago.

Golden eyes shimmered with satisfaction at the sight. ”Time to get to work,” she said with a sultry tone. Syn swayed her hips as she walked out of the room and out the door. It was easier now for the vixen to reach the throne room where her Lord would be waiting. The woman had found that there were certain times of the day that the Lord and his beloved enjoyed a little privacy. In the short week within the temple, Syn had caught on to when she should ‘take her time’ to reach the meeting areas. Despite the stark opposite Syn was to Alairia, the vampire thought the blond elf was quite adorable. Ria felt nervous in most people’s presence, but it seemed she still did not know what to think of the red haired vixen.

”Good day to you, my Lord. How was your and our Lady’s evening?” She walked down the last steps into the throne room. Heels clicking confidently on the floor as she made her way across the room. Her full lips were pulled into a pleasant smile. Syn was confident in every aspect of her life, yet she knew when to be respectful. A healthy distance was still kept from the throne.
