"I am very aware of the Convergence. It seems that most of your family came across the void, as well as people who strive to be part of the family," he said, thinking of the young man who had paid him a visit not too long ago with the intention of asking Drae for his permission to court his step-daughter Sapphire.
"Rose, your aunt is like a milennia old. Even some of the oldest high elves would be young to her," Drae pointed out as an answer to the cradle robbing question, with a smile on his face. He looked at her expectantly, waiting for the explanation that she seemed to have come up with and she asked him to take her hand so that she could show him. He didn't question and suddenly he was swept up into her memories. The vision enveloped Drae and he watched, his eyes narrowing upon seeing the silver apple that the long lost god handed to a Rose who was not much older than Sapphire. Suddenly it made more sense to him, and the vision ended with Rose's screams of pain as she absorbed all Knowledge from that one little bite of apple. As the vision faded from around them, Drae nodded slowly.
"That makes a lot of sense. You carry all the Knowledge of another world, which may in fact cause a paradox here. That is why it flees from you," he commented. "But now that I know it, I can take precautions." He snapped his fingers and suddenly the Temple Library snapped back into place, the spatial contortion created by Knowledge trying to run from Rose immediately righted.
"For the time being, I have placed you in a small nullifying zone, which has hidden the effects of your Knowledge of DaeLuin from the Knowledge of Revaliir," he explained. "I'll keep it on you until you leave the library," he said. "But I want you to follow me. I think I have found some things you might find very interesting," he said, motioning for her to follow him through the shelves of books to the Western Archway.
The Relic Room was a part of Tar Eisalae that Drae was the most proud of beside the Occulus. A collection of items from events and Gods past and present, and other oddities, that he had collected over several years. It was still small, and he had plans to grow his collection, but that was neither here nor there. What he wanted to show her, however, he was pretty sure she was going to find interesting.
"This is the Relic Room," he explained to her. "Throughout my life, I've been collecting things that I've found that have been associated with deities new and old. Things that just sort of showed up in Iria on the docks as powerful items," he said. "I have two, however, I think will mean something to you personally," he said simply and lead her to a pedestal. In the middle of a protective ward that glowed a faint blue was a key. "This one… is my more recent acquisition…"
