She took a deep sigh in as she stared at him. “If you want to check and make sure its safe I wasn’t going to stop you from doing that Adraejen.” Her voice was soft. “I will listen to you since I respect you.” Not everyone could be lucky enough to have the goddess listen to them. She tilted her head and looked at him.
The goddess sat in the chair for a little bit longer than he had. She pushed herself up and was quite frustrated with the situation though she was hiding it quite well. “You can tell me when it’s safe to visit Sidhiel with the children.” That was more important to her. She had finally learned where he was from and she couldn’t go with anyone until he was comfortable, she respected that and it was clear but it was still slightly frustrating.
She offered him a smile. “I wouldn’t hurt you by defying you on a subject like this Adraejen. I know you hurt.” He was wary for his family and she could tell. “I was just excited and I thought you would be too because you remembered. You know I can be impulsive. I'll go to scope it out real quick and come home."

Drae looked at Angela with a look that suggested that he was not at all pleased with what she was telling him. He couldn't control her actions, and he certainly wasn't about to dictate to her what she was going to do with this new unmasked landmass with its new people and her domain being earth and life. She was well within her rights to want to visit, to learn about these elves that had been hidden from the world since the fall of Verya.
"I can't stop you from whatever you want to do, Angela. If you want to run off and visit the Sidhielian Elves, then fine. But until I decide otherwise, Rohan is not to visit there," he said firmly as he closed the journal and leaned back in the chair. He didn't look all that intimidating and he didn't want to intimidate Angela at all, but he did look stern. "I don't want Rohan or Iva in Sidhiel until I have determined for myself that it is safe for them to be there," he said flatly. "Please, Angela, do not defy me in this matter," he asked her softly before he stood again. The journal floated up and off the table and went back to the bookshelf.

Angela shrugged a bit. “Either way I am glad you happened.” She tickled his chin a bit as she looked at the old book. Now Angela was the adventurous type and not just in the bedroom. Her eyes were full of wonder and she knew her son had that too. He had already begun talking just like his mother and it made her a bit sheepish every time she heard the words come from his mouth.
“I do want to visit Sidhiel. I would probably go with or without your permission. I like to acquaint myself with the earth everywhere and I haven’t done so there yet. Plus I want to see where you are from Adraejen. It’s important to me.” She leaned over and booped his nose.
“I can damn well take care of myself if something were to happen. If it makes you more comfortable I won’t take Rohan but I would like him to know where you come from. He deserves that much Drae. He is a part of you as much as he is a part of me… Sooner or later he’ll want to go himself. You know him… he is like me, too much.”

"Fair enough love, fair enough," Drae chuckled before he went on to read the journal to her.
He took in all that he had read and couldn't help but be amazed at all the parallels between his life and this nameless deity who had placed the glamour curse over Sidhiel. It was almost unsettling, especially since once upon a time Drae might have considered himself vindictive enough to place his own curse on the place that had made him an outcast. Fortunately, however, the glamour had effected him too until now. He certainly didn't have any intentions of going back though. He looked up at Angela as she made the suggestion that his mother had somehow left Sidhiel and then returned after he had conceived.
"Somehow, I think that is unlikely. It would make more sense that my father, whoever he was, made it through the glamour to Sidhiel and either raped or seduced my mother before he was either ousted again, died or was executed," he said as an off-hand comment, but smiled back at Angela as she sighed.
He blinked at her in surprise. "You want to visit Sidhiel?" he asked her incredulously. He didn't look too thrilled with the idea. "No… Ang. I don't think that is a good idea…" he replied slowly.

Angela had a mock look of shock on her face. “I speak fluently in most language Adraejen. I just don’t like reading in other languages I’m not comfortable in.” She tussled her hair at him. “The languages I do know come from my time at the academy where I didn’t have the luxury of god powers to translates for me.” She chuckled.
When the table and chairs appeared she moved over to sit down by him and smiled. She listened to the sad tale of a man who was like Drae in almost every way. The part about Verya made her frown and made her feel sad on the inside. However, the pureblood thing didn’t help either as her mind drifted to Rohan. Purists were so… unfortunate.
She listened to everything and they got to the end and she sighed a bit. “I always thought that land was odd but I never thought of that. The only way someone like you would have had the opportunity of being born was if your mother had left and gone back. That is probably what happened.” She mused aloud. “A fluke accident. A wonderful one at that.” she looked at Drae with all the love in the world and sighed a bit.
“Let’s go there! I want to see where you are from.” She was excited as she pushed herself up. “I want Ro to see it. Even if they said something to us we could blow them away. I just want Ro to see where you are from. This is important to me that he knows why you are the way you are.”

Drae chuckled. "Glamourized, forgotten, take your pick," he commented. "But, if something happened to the memory of the island before or around the fall of Verya, then it would make sense that those chosen by the Tree of Canelux would have lost memory. A lot happened around that time that changed Parvpora forever," he commented.
He carefully untied the cracked leather thong that held the journal closed and layers of caked dust fell away as he opened the animal hide that had long protected the faded and aged parchment within. He glanced up at Angela when she admitted that he was probably going to have to read it to her and chuckled.
"I forget that I had to take a crash course in Arriese to understand half of what was in your library," he commented with a slight smile. "Fortunately for you and anyone else who is as… not inclined to study other languages, Tar Eisalae has the capability of translating any text found here into the language that the reader is most familiar with," he smiled. "Not that it would help. This journal is insanely old and in a dialect of Feeorin Sylvan that even I am having trouble reading. If it wasn't so faded it might be easier," he commented. He snapped his fingers and a table and chairs appeared for them to sit down at. A sun stone floated over from the wall and hovered over the table for better light and Drae invited Angela over to sit down as he began pouring through the old faded pages.
"From what I can see, this is the journal of a Sidhielian Half-elf like me," he commented. "He talks about Sidhiel, and how cruel the pure bloods are to him," he explained. "Sounds like despite a couple of millenia, nothing has changed there," he muttered grumpily. He flipped though pages and stopped again.
"Here's something," he said. "Verya has called me. Me, who all in Sidhiel said would amount to nothing. I, who they cast out and threw stones at, have proven to be more than they ever will be. Maybe now they will see how wrong they were…" Drae trailed off. "He was called as a deity in Parvpora… the date here puts it just before Verya fell…"
Drae flipped through more pages, until he reached the last few entries.
"Nothing.. Nothing has changed. I have proven to be more powerful than they could ever dream and still they treat me with contempt… They treat those like me worse than ever, and have denounced me. I look to Verya for guidance, but something is not right with the Tree…"
Drae turned to the last entry in the journal and let his fingers dance over the words there. "They had their chances. Now they will learn from their mistakes. Even as Verya fades now, and I feel the twistedness of the magic corrupting even me, I will teach them the error of their ways… I will wipe them from the map, without wiping them out. No one will remember them, even as they live. They will remember as long as they do not leave, but from this day forward those who venture away from Sidhiel will have no memory of it. From now until another of Sidhiel half-blood answers the call of the Voice, they will be lost to the memories of those who have see the island. Wasted shall it appear, and unapproachable… this is my curse to them. It may be long before they can learn to save themselves. If Verya is too far gone, it might not be that they ever return to the memories of those who love Sidhiel. If the sway of the Voice is lost to Parvpora, long lasting shall be this curse. May they know now, that I was not the one they should have wronged…"
Drae looked up at Angela and slowly closed the journal and he sat back in his chair. "He put a glamour curse over Sidhiel. All memory of its location gone, all memory of having lived there replaced," he said. "They were to remain cursed this way until another half-blood from Sidhiel ascended," he summed up. "Sidhiel was to appear the desolate unreachable wastelands of Srendyimor until someone like me was called by the Voice to be a god again…"

She tilted her head when he said he wouldn’t be that cruel. She couldn’t tell if it was meant to her or meant at himself. Since now his preferred method of transportation was teleporting everywhere. She chuckled a bit as she held onto him as they walked. Now he was at the Codex and she watched as he flipped through. He was a lot like her in that aspect. Doing things the old fashioned way.
The ah-hah scared her a bit as she hadn’t been expecting it but he had been the excitable type always. He had that silly grin on his face and it made her chuckle. She hadn’t seen his face when he had found the way to save her and to be honest she hadn’t known he did until she was stuck in the lacriamium.
He pulled on her and she followed obediently. Her green eyes watched as the library expanded. She could smell the old pages and the dust intensify as they went further back into the ancient records that the temple had managed to collect.
Once they stopped she tilted her head and looked at the journal he pulled out. “Well, that doesn’t shock me, love. Not even the earth was completely understanding what the hell you were talking about. Meaning the memories in the earth were even glamorised.” She mused out loud.
Finally, a light blush appeared across her face. “Unless you got something up your sleeve you’ll have to read it to me. I can’t read most things…” It was true that she was a genius when it came to spoken language but not many knew that she didn’t know how to read those languages.

"Fly? Oh, I won't be that cruel," Drae said as he slipped a hand around her waist. His feet were still bare, and he had barely thrown on his shirt and trousers, and his hair was a bit tousled, but he didn't seem to care, which was incredibly unusual as they vanished from the chamber and reappeared in the Temple Library in front of the Codex with a 'pop'. He was too much in a hurry for dramatic entrances, and as it had been when Angela had arrived, the library was still empty, so there was no one to question the Keeper's choice of attire.
Looking like a child in a candy store like he had when he had discovered the means to attach Angela's soul to purified Lacriamium, Drae stepped up to the Codex and threw open the massive tome with a grand THUMP as he flipped to the S-section. He ran his fingers down the lists of topics beginning with S, his bright eyes almost glowing in the light that filtered down from the Occulus and through the Tree of Clarity. Even though he could have simply spoken the name of the places he was looking up, it was clear that Drae was far more old fashioned. After a few moments of silence on his behalf, Drae straightened up with a triumphant "Ah-hah!" as he tapped the page. The Codex responded and a single spider-thin strand of magic silk appeared in the warlock's hand.
He grabbed Angela's hand and pulled her along with him as they followed the thread deep into the bowels of the Temple Library, shelves upon shelves of books expanding as they walked back past the various archways that would go into the other areas of the Temple Library, deep enough into the recesses of the library that the books there began to show signs of extreme aging and brittleness, with cracked spines, thick layers of dust, and faded or peeling lettering.
He looked at Angela as he followed the Thread. "Tar Eisalae has collected all knowledge across Revaliir. It only makes sense that some knowledge is so old that it has almost been forgotten. These tomes here are ancient even by elvish standards," he explained. Remarkably, they actually reached the furthest recesses of the library, and the spider thread went to a shelf that was full of tomes, books, and scrolls so dusty they might have crumbled at the slightest touch.
Drae gingerly reached into the deep bookshelf, and took a small, thin book. Careful inspection revealed it was a journal of sorts.
"Apparently this is the only record of Sidhiel in the whole library…" he commented softly.

He actually startled her by his remembering. “I’ve never even heard of Sidhiel.” He would have known of course because he was from there but right now Angela thought he was a madman. She watched as he left the bed and she pouted at him. “Does it have to be now.” But it was too late her bare skin was exposed to the coolness of the room. She groaned as she pulled herself out of the bed and got dressed with him.
She walked with him down the stairs he had made with her and watched his excitement. “You are being very, very jolly about all this… All things considered.” She chuckled as they reached his throne room. She stood a huge sigh at the plate. “I mean if you really wanted to we could fly down because you are so excited.” She waved her hand at him and did whatever he wished.

"Did I say Srendyimor?" Drae asked, his eyebrows furrowing. He thought back to what he had told her, and slowly shook his head. "No… that's not even right," he said. He blinked a couple times, his eyes darting around trying to remember.
"No…it is Srendyimor… but a the same time it isn't. I'm not from Feeorin… but… Sss…Sss… Sid? Sidhy… Sidhiel? Sidhiel!" he said, and actually sat up in surprise. "Holy– I actually remember!" he said with a laugh. He looked at Angela. "Srendyimor isn't what everyone thinks it is!" he told her before he laid back down beside her. He laughed in triumph. "I can actually remember my history lessons. I thought I actually completely forgot all of it…" he looked at Angela. "I know why I always said Feeorin. Several millenia ago, that island chain was actually a part Feeorin forest," he said with a grin. "Sidhiel is what we all knew it as," he said. "I don't understand why I didn't remember until now. As a matter of fact, I don't remember anything about the island itself after I took the boat to Feeorin… which I guess would explain why I would mistake it for Feeorin," he said. He actually stood up.
"Come on!" he said as he threw on some clothes. "I think we need to consult the Codex!"

Here in his temple, she couldn’t feel him getting closer. She only knew he was there when he put his hands on her waist. It made her jump only a little and it would have probably been hardly noticeable if it wasn’t for his elven blood. He was so close to her now as he whispered in her ear, moving her hair so he could do so. She shivered at the way his voice sounded when he wanted something. Her green eyes slid and she moved just enough so she could see his face.
He turned her all the way and she nuzzled into his hands as he cupped her face. Gently she kissed him back and added to his depth. She hadn’t answered him up until now but she knew he was right, her eyes spoke enough for her. “You said it.” Angela’s face looked confused for a moment. “You said Feeorin earlier but now you said Srendnyimor.” It was only confusion for a moment she was sure that she was just hearing things.
She kissed him again and watched the dress fall before she climbed into the bed, or rather was pulled into the bed. She snuggled up to him under the blankets and sighed happily once more. “Always.” In reply to his come here. She smiled up at him. “As long as you ask me to I’ll always come back.” She wrapped her body around his comfortably as she adjusted herself. “So is it closer to Srendnyimor or to Feeorin? Srendnyimor is a wasteland I thought… no one goes there.” She mused lightly.

Drae sat up again and watched as Angela slowly got up and began getting dressed. She was apologizing to him for prying, and he could see her hands trembling and hear it in her voice. He hadn't meant to snap or make her feel bad, and he knew she hadn't meant to upset him in anyway. He sighed and got up from the bed and stepped up behind her and slipped his arms about her waist before she could manage to tie the back of her dress.
"Stop," he whispered softly in her ear. "Don't do this to yourself," he insisted softly. "Please, neither of us deserve it," he told her as he held her close for a moment before he gently turned her so that she was facing him. He placed his hands on her cheeks and kissed her again, deeply, lovingly. "You have every right to ask," he told her, a gentle smile on his face. "We can't have secrecy in a relationship, you are right my love," he told her. "And despite my resentment towards my past, I will never come to reconcile everything that happened in Srendyimor and even in Iria if I don't talk to someone about it," he told her. "And if you'll forgive my anger, then I will tell you whatever you want to hear," he promised her. He kissed her again, and pushed her dress back down off of her shoulders before he pulled her back to the bed.
"Come here," he said as he pulled her back onto the fur blankets with him and curled up with her in his arms.

Angela froze a bit as the conversation went back to what she had said earlier. She hadn’t intended for it to bother him so much like it was an accusation. It was more that they had never talked about it but when it had finally come up he seemed angry about it. Her hand drifted from him as she put her hands firmly in her lap. Her green eyes seemed distant and her lips were pursed. She was upset with herself mostly. Somehow she was on the edge of the bed and she had never felt more distant from him than she did at that moment.
Her eyes looked watery as she tried to hold back the feelings she was having. She felt like a jerk in that moment. Her fingers were twiddling together now as she thought about it. “I know and I knew that. I shouldn’t have been so harsh about it.” Her voice was soft, perhaps more soft than it had ever been around him. She wasn’t one to quickly lose her confidence or cheeriness but around him, she was just her. She had started to open up and let him in more and more to how she was beneath the godly and motherly nature she had to hold.
She heard the words he spoke about his home and she felt even more terrible at trying to get it out of him. He was the one person she never wanted to be displeased. She bent over and picked her dress up off the floor. “I’m sorry Drae. I’m so quick to try and pry people open. I shouldn’t do that with you.” She pushed herself off the bed and was slipping the dress back onto her body. She looked so distressed and relatively heartbroken towards herself that she had been like that with him. She hadn’t meant to be so harsh with him. Her movement was so slow and her hands were shaking a bit as she reached up to tie the back of her dress.

Drae recoiled slightly, more out of surprise than anything. She was calling him out on keeping secrets, but that had never really been his intention. Between Eva and then just now telling her his background with Kaliden, it hadn't exactly dawned on him that he hadn't exactly disclosed anything about his past to her. He hadn't meant to be secretive, but Angela had never asked, and there had been no reason for Drae to bring it up. He looked at her bewildered, feeling a bit as though he had been hit in the stomach even though all she did was caress his hair and kiss his cheek. He shook his head as he rubbed his face vigorously.
"No, no. Ang, it's nothing like that, I swear," he said, almost exhaustedly as he rubbed his face. "And again, no to the fairies. I was still just a kid when I left Feeorin," he said with a sigh. "Not quite old enough for them to take a liking to…"
He didn't interrupt when she told him about the fathers of the other children, and he sighed. "It's not shallow, Ang. It's natural. In order for any species to survive, you have to pass on traits that will ensure that the offspring will be able to stay alive. It's natural selection, and while more sentient races try to claim they aren't swayed but such things, it is an inevitable fact," he said. "You want the best chance of survival for your children, so you give birth to children with fathers who showed they had the skills and breeding to make that happen," he said. He flopped back on the bed, and sighed, his mind still reeling at the idea that she thought he as being secretive.
"I'm not trying to keep secrets, Ang… it's never been my intention to keep you in the dark about me," he said as he stared up at the ceiling. "I'm bitter about my past, clearly, and I've never seen much good on dwelling on it. Eva, Kaliden, they were both parts of my past that I would almost rather forget completely… That's why I don't talk about it, and that's why I never bring it up, but never did I mean to keep it a secret. And truth be told… I'm not sure I really remember what I remember," he admitted. "It's… almost like a fog. I mean, I remember leaving, but there are other things that I can't be sure if it was a dream or its an actual memory," he explained. "Ugh… it's just confusing, and frankly I don't like to think about it," he said. "But I'll answer any questions you choose to ask to the best of my recollection," he promised her.

Angela made a face that Drae that showed she was hurt by his words. It was of the feeling that she was being snapped at. “Drae how am I supposed to know what not to ask about if you’ve never told me a thing about yourself before Eva. Even then… I never knew Eva’s name until she told me.” She had that deep frown in her face. “And he got what he had coming Drae.” She reached up and ran her hand through his hair. “As soon as I noticed it I threw him out. You might be a half elf but most of my children are halflings. I couldn’t have a man like that around my children. I didn’t feel anything for you when that happened but I would have protected you regardless from that. Rosenites are prosecuted for what we are. Outside of Sularia, we understand what that is like Drae. Some of us are hunted down and killed. But I go keep being married to you when I don’t know you Drae.” It was the little pieces that bothered her. “You don’t have to hide your past from me. We have a long time to be married and I would rather not hide things.” That was the truth of it for her as she leaned up and kissed his cheek. It hurt her that he still didn’t want to talk to her about things.
Angela frowned a bit at him and shook her head. “Love, there are more than one type of fair folk. I’m talking about the flying kind.” She gently flicked his nose. “And those fairies in Feeorin, not the elves, will sleep with anything. They are pretty to look at though.” She was glad he promised her that he had no regrets she kissed his cheek again and thought about it.
The thought at least made the two of them chuckle as she watched him kiss her palm. “Yeah, I could be dead right now.” She mused softly. It didn’t bother her as much as it had her younger self. She had a far greater understanding of what happened in her adult form compared to her younger. “I’m glad things are like this.”
She twirled his hair around her finger and smirked. “Well, even if you couldn’t I would have grown it back for you. Growing hair is the easiest thing in the world for a deity.” She chuckled a bit. “Though I couldn’t imagine you without hair.”
She tilted her head a bit as she thought about it. “I’ve had two hundred odd years of figuring out how to deal with it. It’s not really weird to me. Rosenites aren’t really shy creatures nor do we think its odd to mate with multiple people. We’re not really monogamous all the way. That comes from the shortage of men back home though.” She appeared to be musing the question. “I don’t really have feelings for anyone in the harem… I can easily throw them out and wash my hands of it. That is just how I am and that was the deal made. The people I’ve carried children for… most of them aren’t the noble type. They aren’t the good type but they were talented individuals who would spawn wonderful children. Sapphire. The twins. All of them. Well most… You think I would have children with just anyone? I’ve methodically picked out only the best to have children with. There have been a few that have been the exception. But sometimes the best aren’t fatherly or loving. Sapphire’s father was an amazing wood elf for example.”
She tried to think of the best way to describe him. “He was the fastest runner and the best archer that they had. The purple hair was completely me though… I hated his brown hair against those sapphire eyes so I changed her hair when she was in the womb.” Angela was trying to show how much thought she put into her children’s creations. “Purple seemed like a good and unique color. However, he was more shallow than Kalidan. Wood elves are normally so nice and pleasant but beneath that mask he was a terrible person. I’ve never told Sapphire that because mothers should never talk that way about the fathers of their children. One day when she is old enough to know and she asks I’ll tell her.”
Angela thought about her other children and laughed. “Basselina was completely unplanned and she is a complete brute. I was curious how a child of the highlands would turn out. She did not disappoint. Her father wanted everything to do with her. He loved her even though she had such strong magic running through her veins. Though we had to explain to his wife that our one night stand was a complete accident. That was the most awkward thing ever. Though his wife was from Adeluna so she ended up thinking Basselina as a gift, thank goodness. Basse has always been like her father. She was how I found out that no matter my age I can’t hold my liquor well. He was a good man but he was only human. Basse misses him greatly.”
Thinking on the twins she tilted her head. “Belle and Fern’s father was a vampire studying alchemical. He had come from Kurayo. He isn’t terribly bad but his attitude is sour. I kept the twins from him because his love for the poisonous arts is something I find atrocious. They don’t need to learn that but he was beautiful. They look like him actually.” She thought more. “Daphne doesn’t have a father. She has two mothers instead. She is my half nymph. I let her mother take her home with her and it was a mistake. Entire clan was completely wiped out by humans who were trying to get Daphne because she was my daughter. Her mother had bragged about it.” Angela rolled her eyes. “Took so long to help that girl get to where she could sleep at night without waking up screaming.”
She gave a smile as she figured she had gone on long enough. “I don’t think of it as using anyone but I do think I’ve given my children the best I can. Good bloodlines keep children strong, circumstances make people even stronger. Like you Drae. You would not be the person you are today if not for the hardships in your life. I would not be the person I am if not for my hardships. That’s just how it is. Our children will face their own problems but we must remember to let them deal with it. That is my weakness… Fighting their battles for them.”
She thought about the women he had been with and she shrugged. “Maybe, maybe not. You have to remember most marriages are forged to further a person’s wealth. Most don’t have a choice. People are odd like that, willing to be miserable for gold or silver. I guess I feel that way because Arri is not like that.”
After realizing her words probably shocked him earlier she had a blush come to her face. “I swear I wasn’t trying to sound shallow when it comes to making my children. Rosenites tend to breed the best bloodlines for children. In some cases houses will join and not love each other so what I said earlier isn’t completely true but it’s very rare. Naota’s wife Echo is a child from one of those relationships. She is a half elf half Rosenite from Arri. She is one of the youngest and most powerful mages in the Yellow Court. My sister is very, very proud of having her.”

Drae made a grumpy look that suggested he really didn't want to think about Kaliden, but he sighed and decided to tell her anyways.
"The elf was a right bastard to me back in Feeorin. Did everything he could to rub in the fact that I was a half-breed and would never measure up to a true blooded elf. Most of them were like that, but what made it worse was that in the public eye he was seen as being kind and friendly to me. He's part of the reason I packed up and left so young. The other part was the damn condescension. It made me sick," he explained.
He looked at Angela with a raised eyebrow. "Good thing for me too," he chuckled lightly. "Otherwise I might still be chasing married women in Wyllmochvar," he commented. Again he made a face when he was asked if he had ever slept with a fairy. "Nope," he said flatly. "Most wouldn't even look at me. I'm too beneath them, being a half-breed. The Feeorin Elves are purists," he said with a sneer. The ugly face faded away as he sat there with her, relaxing. "No regrets though," he promised.
"Yeah, that will be an event for the history books: Mother Earth and the Keeper of Knowledge rock Parvpora in front of guests. We'll be famous for a millenia for it," he chuckled. He growled softly as she ran her fingers through his hair and he kissed her palm as it came to caress his face. "You aren't wrong, my love. The world would have been a very different place for both of us if it hadn't ended up like this," he smiled.
"Believe me it was a pain. Fortunately, werebears grow hair a LOT faster than normal beings. I had a pretty thick growth again within twelve hours after the twenty four hour time frame," he smiled.
He considered her question.
"Does it make you feel weird when you see people you carried children for, or seeing men from your harem?" he asked her. Maybe that was the wrong question. "Maybe a little. But only in the way that it makes me wonder if they will ever find something like what you and I have… or if they ever felt they had that with their husbands before," he replied. "But the 'using' them part? No, I'm wholly unrepentant."

Angela returned his grin and she shook her head playfully at him.
"Almost but what is stopping you from feeling truly sorry for him?" She propped herself up and stared at him.
"When I first saw him… I saw the elegance of the elves from your birth place and I see that in you too. I do admit that I favor your soft features much more over humans or even Rosenite men." She had to admit that she had a soft spot for the elvish. They were soft, strong, and the men were handsome. She favored the fair folk the most and then there were the fairies and she grinned just a tad too much thinking about it. A laugh left her lips as she thought back to what she had now considered her wild days.
"Ever slept with a fairy before Love?" It was a curious thing to think about. She did have many half-breed children so it only made sense that she had many different types of lovers in the past.
The goddess looked at him with a pout and she started to laugh again.
"You don't have to worry about me. I'm all yours even if it kills me. I'll just come over here and pin you to your chair in front of your company." Her hands reached up and she pushed her fingers through his hair a gentle smile was on her lips.
"You tamed a goddess… and I tamed you… Sort of fitting considering the type of lives we led before we found each other." She wouldn't have changed it for the world.
"I always wondered why your hair seemed a bit shorter when you showed back up… I had thought it to be my imagination gone wild. At least now I know I wasn't completely losing it." She teased him as she leaned over and kissed him.
The joking seemed to sway just a bit as she curled up on him once more.
"What's it like going to Wyllmochvar and seeing your old flames anyways? Does it make you feel weird?" She had always wondered how mortals felt about it. She was an odd one but she hadn't been mortal for some time… and she hadn't really been faithful to any one person between Wyatt to Drae. Even when Rohan had been there she had always kept her little cove of men. There was just something about Adraejen that made her swear off any other man.

"This place is more than capable to defend itself from me," Drae chuckled.
"I almost feel sorry for my old rival. That must be a real devastating blow to his pride," he said, grinning at her.
His face almost went white at the suggestion that she replicate herself a couple times, and then her replications become pregnant. He shook his head. "I don't think I could handle that at all, love. Nor do I think you could, unless your duplicates stay around for a while to help CARE for those new infants. Rohan is a handful enough, what with his shapeshifting," he pointed out. "Not saying that I don't want more children with you though. I look forward to that."
He chuckled however. "I don't know if the world could handle having eight of either of us," he said with a laugh.
He narrowed his eyes at her. "I'm not sure… Sharing with you doesn't sound pleasing to me, but I understand where you are coming from. You cutting your hair on the other hand… I guess I would have to see you with it short to determine whether or not I like it on you. I know that I can't handle it on me. I had a spell backfire on me back when I spent those months on the ocean. I ended up going completely bald for about a day. Not the most flattering look on me," he admitted.

The temple made Angela laugh even more. “No please do. I promise to give him quite the thrashing if he abuses you.” It was more of a tease than anything. She didn’t think she could ever harm him past what she just did.
She groaned. “I was over him the moment he first laid with me. For an elf he is pathetic.” She turned her head at him and smiled. “He can’t make me feel anything. I could screw him and ten others of the same type as he is and still come to you and have the time of mine and your life. Most elves can marathon a little. It was like someone dropped him on his head.” And yes she met that head. She shivered a bit at the terrible memory. “I was going to dismiss him anyways when he so rudely got so upset at you.”
A laugh left her lips as he poked at her belly and she smirked a tad. “I’m always up for an adventure with you. So far it hasn’t been too terrible. Oh well, you know… We could have multiples next instead of one. Can you imagine two or three of Rohan? We would be quite in trouble. I could find a way to get myself even more Adraejen or I could lock you away with eight of me.” She chuckled a bit.
Apparently, the hair comment put him over the edge because she was rolling, literally, rolling to him. “I don’t think I could deal with anyone younger than thirty. Big egos. Yours was pretty large when I found you but you do the deed quite well… at least you have a reason for an ego without compensating.” She was teased lightly. “Are you more upset at the cradle robbing or the hair cutting? I can’t tell.”

Drae landed with a thump on the softened stone and looked up at the ceiling. "Oi, don't you be siding with her!" he called out to the magical crackle that seemed faintly like laughter. The wall hardened again and he stood up with the blanket. Truthfully, he had expected her to react as such, because he HAD technically crossed a line. After all, providing the world with children was technically HER job, not his. He stuck his tongue out at Angela playfully before he came back over to lounge on the bed with her.
"I'm sure Kalidan would be happy to have your affections back," Drae said with a roll of his eyes at her comment about her own harem. "Just know though that he won't make you feel as good as I can now," he reminded her with a playful poke to her belly. "Sounds like an adventure of its own. What else could happen that hasn't happened already, right?" he chuckled and laid back out on the bed. He closed his eyes and was relaxing when she made the comment about cutting her hair. He opened his silver eyes and sat upright again.
"You can't be serious. You already attract men hundreds of years younger than you, how much younger are you looking to attract? You practically rob cradles as is!" he laughed. Then he pouted. "I like your long hair. I like playing with it."

Her long red hair almost entangled him. She thought for a second about cutting it just to mess with him but the reality sank in that he would probably just make it grow back. He did love playing with it. “Now why would they be jealous of little ole me. I’m sure they could win you back in a heartbeat.” She teased him.
When he started to get smug with her a cross look appeared on her face. She grabbed his arm almost effortlessly and tossed him into the nearest wall. Blanket and all. The wall, however, was softened a little and Ang was sitting up on the edge of the bed with the biggest smug smile that he had possibly ever seen on her. “Harem you could have but the children part… I am against.” The laughter left her lips as she laid back down on the bed and waited for him to come crawling back.
“Honestly, might have to have the harem again myself if you are going to be so far out here. My poor body wouldn’t be able to take long breaks without touches.” She chuckled again and she leaned up again on her elbows. “Besides we can have all the magical offspring we desire now. From now until forever… Doesn’t that sound fun?” She let her fingers go through her red locks and she smirked. "Maybe I should cut my hair and attract younger men…" Now she was teasing him hard. "I hear some really like short hair."

"No, Angela… I only live to please you, and only you," he smiled before the fun ensued.
For once she was as spent as he was, and it made him feel good. He had been of mixed feelings when it came to being made a God but maybe it wasn't going to be so bad. Especially if this desired effect was going to a regular thing between them.
"Even getting hit by that damn star," Drae agreed with a chuckle. "I really am. I might pretend to have hidden depths, but that is just for show," he smiled. He cuddled close to her underneath the blanket that crawled up the side of the bed, called by the plants to her hands. He smiled and played with Angela's hair and smiled at her questions. "I've got it on good authority that several husbands are happy, but the women are all jealous of you," he said smugly. "Maybe I should start my own harem? Or offer myself to women who want magically inclined offspring. That might not be a bad idea…" he said thoughtfully, more meaning to tease Angela than being serious.

She chuckled a bit as she thought of it.
"You really are such a people pleaser but I would be careful Adraejen." There was a tiny bit of mischievousness dripping from her lips as she whispered back to him. He knew better than anyone to be especially careful of what one could offer Angela. Making a wish like that? That was dangerous. At least if you were mortal.
Parvpora had a way of being a nuisance but for the first time in their love life, he had utterly exhausted her. She scooted over to him as he collapsed on the bed and she nuzzled his hand affectionately. It had been a long while since someone had done that. Perhaps the last time it had been a god? Her mind went into overdrive thinking about it but she stopped herself. Her mind was such a weird place and all she wanted to do was be content with Drae. She was content with him actually, she had been.
Moving she nuzzled the top of her head under his chin after he kissed the top of her head.
"Even getting hit by a star?" She was amused at the thought.
"Adraejen you are such a simple man underneath it all." Of course, she was teasing him because that was what Angela did. He was exhausted and so was she as she reached for the now messed up blankets to cover them up. The plants called to her and the blanket found its way into her hands so she could cover them.
"But being simple isn't a bad thing Love… I promise you." She gave him a smile as she turned her lips and kissed his chest softly.
The goddess yawned softly and she snuggled up to him the closest she could.
"I wonder if the women of Wyllmochvar cry because they don't have you anymore?" The thought appeared to amuse her greatly as she turned her green eyes up to him.
"Oh, the horror of being stuck in your marriage with one man for the rest of your life… What will they ever do without the handsome scoundrel Adraejen. I better make sure I come make marks all over your temple so people don't forget I exist." She laughed lightly once more as she teased him.

Drae growled nuzzled Angela as she whispered in his ear. "Well, then," he said softly as he slid his hands up Angela's legs and pushed her soft flowing dress up and over her head and shoulders, going slowly so as to torment her a little bit. "We had better fix that little problem here and now," he whispered before he rolled her over and tossed his own shirt off the side of the bed. He immediately leaned in and began biting at and kissing Angela's neck and collar bones.
"Tell me what you want of me, Angela, and I will do it," he whispered in her ear as he freed the pair of them of any remaining clothing.
He was very affectionate, very loving, to her, kissing her and holding her tight to him. Hours ticked by unnoticed as they enjoyed one another's company and one's new found stamina.
Eventually, however, Drae collapsed onto his back, breathing heavily. He caressed Angela's face and held her tightly.
"This was worth everything," he sighed and kissed the top of her head.

“She is generally more perceptive than the rest of us. Which is amazing considering who I am… I still can’t beat her at that game.” She mused lightly and laughed.
“I’ll make sure she knows you are very thankful for it.”His affectionate look made Angela go haywire almost. She was in love with the way he stared at her.
“Even if I wasn’t earth I would still go barefoot.” She stuck her tongue out.
“Just kidding. Before my ascension, I wore the softest slippers and when I went out on clergy runs I would wear comfortable boots. Now… everything is like silk to me, I must admit. My connection to the earth is better when I don’t wear shoes.” The growl made her giddy and it showed in how she wiggled against him.
She tilted her head.
“I wasn’t hit by a star but I did lose everything.” She frowned a bit.
“Ascension hits everyone differently.” She rubbed his shoulder softly the best she could as she moved herself into him more now that he was laying on his back.
“I’m sure you were pissed.” A smile came to her lips.
“We’ll figure out the distance thing. It is a small thing compared to the passage of time.” She reminded him gently.
“I absolutely don’t have to hold back anymore.” She grinned at him and chuckled as he pulled her tighter and caressed her. A soft sigh left her lips as she rolled herself over him and straddled his waist. The blanket fell from her and she gave a gentle smile.
“You just had to bring it up.”She leaned down and whispered into his ear.
“The thing about being fertility… about hearing it inside the waves of what life has to say is… that it is one hungry bastard for sex. It drives a person mad… especially when your husband isn’t home.”

Drae looked down at Angela and sighed. "I guess there is no arguing with you. Despite my misgivings, you ARE right all things considered. I mean, I did build this place. Tar Eisalae couldn't become this without me to shape it. That is a great feat for me, and I'll admit it has me a little excited now, among other things," he smiled at her. "I'll get used to being a God before long," he promised her. "Willow did me a great service when she and the Rosenites gifted me the Himiria Star. I am eternally grateful for that gift," he sighed.
He laughed at her comment about his boots and he looked at her affectionately as she helped him shed his over-robes and continued to undo his vest and tossed it aside as well before he cuddled back up with her. "The Earth does not love us all equally, my dear. You have the luck to have Earth as your domain so I am sure that everything your feet touch is like the softest of silk. Me, on the other hand, I haven't gone barefoot since I was a child, and even then I hated it," he chuckled. He loved how she melted into him and he growled softly in her ear as he nuzzled her.
He sighed and rolled so that he was facing the ceiling.
"The Voice and the World Tree hit me with a shooting star," he said, heaving a deep breath. "I suppose they couldn't be subtle, me being Parvporan and all," he said wryly and cast a glance at her. "It hurt like hell though, having all that power fusing with my essence. I am pretty sure that if Cyprus had still been attached to me at that point, she would have ceased to exist completely."
"I was absolutely pissed of course. If anyone had been in the vicinity I bet they thought I was insane. I tried to throw a rock at the World Tree and I ended up knocking the star that became Tar Eisalae from the sky," he admitted. "I was mostly angry that the Tree was taking me away from you…" he sighed. "But… on the bright side… you won't break me. I may not be Fertility or anything, but I won't tire like mortal Drae did," he said, caressing Angela's curves and pulling her tight against his body.

“I could handle more than one of you,” she joked and gave his smile right back at him.
“You aren’t too bad.”Angela chuckled a bit and tilted her head.
“Neither could I… My limit is two and I refuse to break it. The triplets were an accident on my end.” She knew that it had been because of her potion that Echo had gotten pregnant with three. Her back hurt thinking about it and she was immortal compared to poor Echo.
“It’s not a disadvantage if it means protecting my husband Drae.” She was short with him a bit. She wanted to help protect him here but she knew that he could handle himself but it didn’t mean that she would leave him all by himself should an uprising happen again. “
Nice to know some things don’t change.” She smiled again when he said he would protect her.
She chuckled as she thought about it.
“Right now you are stronger than I am. You’ve always wanted that in a positive way instead of me dying.” She put her head against his shoulder and snuggled.
“It’s nice.” She liked that feeling that he was stronger than her at least now.
The goddess’s energy revived just a bit as she heard his growl. Her eyes looked up at him contently.
“He loves his pillows. Much more than any other baby I’ve ever had.” A thought crossed her mind and she started to laugh hard.
“Maybe it’s because he’s a boob baby like his father.” She tilted her head and thought about Iva.
“I’m no bed hog but Rohan… he most certainly was.”She rubbed his chest softly and kissed his neck again.
“Don’t sell yourself short. You’ve been doing that this whole time. This whole thing is you. You created Tar Eisalae as an extension of yourself like the Sundering Gardens is an extension of me. This is you.” She waved her hand around to show him the room.
“That doesn’t shock me about the Himiria. It is an arcane augment. You just needed help to settle into your new power.”She watched him kick off his boots.
“I’ll never understand how people wear shoes.” Her nose wrinkled up a bit and she laughed. She helped him take off his over robes and smiled. Her hands dropped the robes off to the side. The goddess snuggled close to him once more once the robes were gone.
“I love quality time with you, it’s the best.” She took in his scent and melted against him. She had first found his scent when she was on the way to the grave and ever since then she hadn’t taken it for granted. She was drowning in him. Parvpora wasn’t bothering her at all now.
“So what was your ascension like? You never told me…”

"If everyone had a husband like yours, then the world would be in a lot of trouble. I am not sure it could handle more than one of me," he smiled.
He thought about her suggestion and nodded. "Maybe I will. Naota's a level headed man. He might at least be a good individual to get some ideas from and discuss things. I'm sure he could use the break as well if he and Echo were just gifted triplets," he chuckled. "I can't imagine…" he said with the shake of his head.
"Knowing that you and Dalanesca would come to my defense gives me comfort, love, but I would hate to put you both at such a disadvantage. Let's just pray that Tar Eisalae and I can fend off armies on our own. But I'll still come aide you in a heartbeat. I am still your Warlock after all," he smiled.
"You make a fair point. Everything about our relationship has really come as a surprise. I guess we should have seen this coming, I guess. But if we had, it would have been a surprise," he mused as he carried Angela down the stairs. Thinking about it, he had never carried her like this before. If anything, it seemed that Angela had been carrying him half the time. It wasn't necessarily something he was proud of but he never said anything.
He sighed contentedly as Angela began kissing his neck and cheeks and he growled appreciatively and curled his body around hers. "I don't think Rohan ends up on me so much as he tries to steal my pillows and I don't like to give them up," he chuckled. "I think he seeks out the softest spot, which is the pillows because his bassinet is essentially just a giant pillow, and even though our bed is soft, the pillows, to him, are softer," he mused. "As for Iva, I think she gets it from having a massive bed all to herself… or she's just like her mother," he added playfully.
He sighed. "Yeah, I am. Even though I think Tar Eisalae did all the real work, getting it to work with me sapped most my energy I think. Things were pretty difficult until Willow sent the pieces of the Himiria Star to use for the Frame around the Occulus, but once that went up, Tar Eisalae and I were able to communicate better and things started smoothing out easily," he explained.
"But I am not tired enough to just fall asleep. This is the first bit of quality time we've had in a while, and I don't intend to let it go to waste," he said as he kicked off his boots and shed his over robes.

Angela sighed gently. “I really will miss them when they come over here to visit. Maybe I can sneak over here at night when you have them.” It was odd talking about splitting there time like they were. “Terra is just the busiest season. It sucks but there is nothing I can do unless I want a hoard of angry people after me.” She chuckled a bit.
A mischievous look appeared on her face as she heard the rumbling. “What a good thoughtful husband I have. I think everyone needs to have a husband like mine.”
She tilted her head and smiled at him. “I have faith that the Tree knows what its doing. Even if I don’t like it. It does things because it needs to. You are the person its needs right now no matter my feelings on it. If it comes down to protecting the children you know the conclave would help you. We’re like a dysfunctional family.” She chuckled a bit. “You should go visit Naota. He just had three beautiful babies with Echo. They damn well woke me up in the middle of the night.” She sighed a bit. “You must have been out on a job when it happened.”
She closed her eyes. “Even though we are weakened here in Parvpora and you outside of your temple… we are still stronger than most. I am willing to bet that Dalanesca and I could take on a while army or two.” She chuckled. “We can protect each other. That is what we do.”
She laughed. “When have we ever had warning for anything? Even Rohan was a surprise.” She laughed a bit more now that she thought about it. “We didn’t have any warning that we would fall in love. Remember we just got with each other because sex was a thing we both enjoyed.” She gave a smile as she watched him get up. “Oh that sounds lovely.” She eeped just a bit as she wrapped herself around him so he could carry her.
Her green eyes looked at the stairs and smiled. “I see that. Everyone should have my husband. Not that I’m willing to share.” She laid down in the bed and took a relaxed sigh as she snuggled up to him and covered him with the blankets. The goddess laid gentle kisses to his cheek and neck as she put her head on his chest. “You know as much as I complain that we’re not giving enough alone time… I miss the little brats.” She smiled up at him. “Rohan always ends up on you when he tries to take over the bed. You would think he was so much bigger than he is… and Iva doing her spread eagle.” She laughed a bit more.
“I’m beginning to think its a learned behavior between the two of them.” She closed her eyes and snuggled her head into him. “Are you tired from building the temple love?”
Author: Porthyrius, Posted: Fri Mar 17, 2017 11:48 PM, Post Subject: Missing You[P/R]
“Rohan is smart for an infant. Yes, he needs you, but I think he realizes already that there are some situations that can’t be helped. I think he learned that after your close shave with death,” he sighed. “Not that I want to separate him from you at all, but unfortunately now that both of us are deities, maybe we will be having to split his and Iva’s time between us. Especially during your busy season,” he sighed.
He chuckled at the comment about her dislike of the sensation of being off the ground. “Don’t worry, I’ll fix the stair issue,” he promised, and lowered a hand to the ground. There was a tangible shudder throughout Tar Eisalae and a loud rumble in the ground beneath them. He looked up at the crystal dome. “Thank you,” he said appreciatively to the great crystal dome around them.
“You know, I didn’t think of it that way. I don’t think I do still. I am still not sure if my ascension was the smartest decision that the Tree has made,” he sighed. “I know I made a name for myself in Wyllmochvar, but this is a continent that rebelled against the gods and burned their World Tree. That may have been thousands of years ago, but who is to say that they won’t try and tear this place down?” he asked softly. “That is my fear. I am a paradox here, and I fear it may put our children in danger,” he told her. “Scoundrel and liar I may be, but I am also a selfish bastard,” he sighed.
Her confidence in him was reassuring, and he did hope it wasn’t misplaced. He was grateful, in a way, for the ascension because it meant he was immortal, and he would live as long as Angela would. It also meant he could keep up with her better, but even that was made difficult by the vast distance that now separated them.
He sighed and held her close. “I know we will. It just seems so overwhelming right now I guess. I mean, we didn’t exactly get any sort of warning that this was going to happen,” he commented. “But you are here now, and this place is empty right now. No one will bother us if we were to go somewhere meant for proper cuddling,” he said as he stood up and lifted Angela and her blanket up in his arms and carried her over to the levitation plate that would take them to his private chambers. Instead of stepping onto the plate, he tapped his foot and a second before the floor slid aside and revealed a brand new set of stairs that spiraled down around the shaft that the levitation plate would have followed.
“There, see, I keep my promises,” he chuckled as he carried Angela down the stairs and through the short hallway into his sleeping chambers. He set her down on the bed that was tucked back into an alcove in the wall and curled up more comfortably with her on the plush bed.

“It’s absolutely torturous.” She teased as he reaffirmed just how long it had been since they last saw each other. “I’ll live through Terra, as I always have.” She chuckled softly. They were comfortably cuddling in that chair of his. It might have been cramped but it was sort of nice to be that close to Adraejen. His smell filled her nose pleasantly and she chuckled again as soon as she had her fill of his scent. She could never take that smell for granted… not after her death. She reeled into his hands as he stroked her hair. If she could purr she would have. It was the most reassuring thing she had ever felt. She wasn’t entirely sure what he could have been reassuring her about but it comforted her. Maybe it was that she would survive Terra as she always did.
“They will love that.” She chuckled just a bit and smiled at him. “I’ll have to send them over here when the girls have too much of them. I will be bust soon enough and not around much to take care of them.” She frowned a bit at Drae and tried to make the best of it. “Rohan isn’t used to me not being here. He’s been so sheltered by it all. This will be hardest for him.”
She laughed a bit and pulled herself away just enough to look at him. “Don’t worry about it Adraejen. I’ll manage. I’m sure it has more to do with the sensation.” She mused a bit. “Same way a ship makes me feel the same way yet it too is made from the earth.” She reminded him gently. She could hear the mocking and a chuckle left her lips. “I saw the stairs.” She reassured him. “I wasn’t about to make that damn trip more than once on the way up. You and your flying bullshit.” She took a little jab at him.
She tilted her head at him. “Love, it doesn’t shock me your temple is in Parvpora one bit. Parvpora has been your life. I’m but a small sliver of it. You were born here, damn well near died here, set up your business here, everything that is you… is in Parvpora.” She didn’t know if he realized the impact he had on where he was at. “Maybe you are what this continent needs. Despite how much of a scoundrel and a liar you can be,” she teased him again.
She reached over and flicked his nose softly. “You’ll live Adraejen but you have to keep being as strong as I know you can be. All content to play the badass… Remember?” She smiled softly up at him. “I can handle the heathens for now. You worry about setting all of this up. You have quite a long way to go before you are fully established. You’ll need clergy, followers, and all that good stuff. Something to draw them in. You’ll have all of that but it will take a bit. You will be a good god… I know you can be. Despite how pissed off I am that the Voice would take you from me.” She muttered a bit. “I can’t keep selfishly holding onto you and not letting you become greater like I know you can be. Despite how unhappy it makes me to have you all the way over here.”
She leaned over and kissed his cheek and let her lips linger for a moment before leaning in and putting her forehead against his cheek. "We'll figure out the distance thing… and the busy thing… and the kids thing." She chuckled.

"Of course I had to come running," Drae whispered. "We've barely seen each other in days," he said as he joined her in the chair. "And as you said, Terra is your most taxing season. So I must be here to make it better for you," he said as they cuddled on the comfortable albeit cramped chair. This sort of thing was the biggest reason he had insisted on something comfortable rather than something more showy. He sighed comfortably as he ran his fingers through Angela's hair.
"I do think they will enjoy coming here. I have rooms set aside for them and any of the elder children who wish to come visit. I am sure that the Reservation will be a particular favorite for both Iva and Rohan since they both seem to get along so well with the animals," he mused softly.
He smacked himself in the head playfully when Angela mentioned the stairs leading up from his rooms to the Occulus. "I'll get on that as soon as I can. I would hate for you to be discomforted. I thought making the plates of glass would help you, but I see I was wrong," he said in mock disappointment. "There are, however, stairs to get you down to the main floor of the library," he said reassuringly. He made a face at her question and moved his head from side to side like he was trying to figure out how to answer her.
"I'll live," he replied. "As you can see, I'm not exactly the talk of the town. No one has been here but you so far, my darling," he commented. "But I'm not surprised. This is Parvpora, no one puts much stock in the Gods here," he added. "But I do think when they realize how beneficial it will be to have me around I'll become much more popular," he grinned.
This answer was far more positive than he had been feeling when he had been called to Ascension. He'd never admit it outloud, but he had thrown quite the little temper tantrum over it.

She must have been asleep for a few good minutes before she felt him kiss her forehead. Sleepily she opened her eyes and stared up at him with a smile. “I’ve missed you too.” She stretched as she came up and give him another kiss. “You didn’t have to come here so fast. I didn’t notice how tired I’ve been. Winter is almost at an end so demands of my attention have gotten high.” Even a goddess had her limits how much she could take. Her energy was pouring into the lands. The tiniest buds, blades of grass, everything.
She pulled herself around on the chair and opened the blanket up so he could join her in the chair. Drae got into the chair with her and they were snuggled closely. Though it was a bit cramped it didn’t appear like his wife cared all that much. People had made her tired and now she was basically at home with Drae. She was happy and content. She pulled the blanket tighter and made him get closer to her. She couldn’t break him now and all that did was make her chuckle when she thought about it.
The redhead closed her green eyes and went into her thoughts. “I need to bring the children here if I can ever get away. You’re way too busy to come home and they miss you dearly. I don’t know what they will do if they don’t have their big papa bear soon.” She chuckled as she spoke. “Iva and Ro are dying to see you but they understand that duties come before family, unfortunately.” It was a reminder of what life was like when it was just Ang and the children.
They would figure it out but for now, they were busy. They had to make time eventually but she didn’t know when they could. The world kept turning and they were trying to stop for just a moment to enjoy what they had. She kissed his neck softly. “Also I’ll forgive you for not putting stairs in.” She teased him gently as she put her head onto his shoulder. “How does it feel to be the first God in Parvpora?” She was a bit concerned about him.

There was no way he could not have known that she had stepped into the Temple Library. He was so deeply ingrained in the magic that brought her there in the first place that there was no way he would have been able to not know. Then of course, there was the slight ringing in his ears that came when Tar Eisalae spoke to him. It was strange, having a temple that was capable of even the mildest form of communication, and even the capability of protecting itself. Even when he had been forming the temple from the massive celestial rock that had plummeted from the sky the night of his Ascension, it had zapped him and tried to repel him. But it wasn't until the Rosenites had gifted him the pieces of the Himiria Star to augment the power of the place that it actually began communicating with him.
Upon hearing the ringing in his inner ear, Drae looked up from where he had been meticulously arranging bags of alchemical components in the Emporium towards the center of the Temple Library.
"Yes, I know she is here. Yes, I know she is sitting in my chair."
The ringing increased, the pitches changing almost conversationally. Drae sighed. "You were the one complaining of the mess in here. This place is still new. I don't exactly have aides clamoring to run around and clean up messes right now," he growled. The ringing continued. He sighed and straightened up.
"Well, when you put it that way," he muttered and snapped his fingers. The spilled salts and crystals swept themselves back up into their bags, and Drae brushed his hands off. "I do enjoy being able to do that," he said softly. He was still getting used to the idea of being able to do everything with just a thought or the sweep of a hand.
He walked out of the Southern Archway into the Temple Library and walked up to the Tree of Clarity before looking up through the central shaft of Tar Eisalae up to the Occulus where Angela was waiting for him. He remembered then that he had forgotten to put in a set of proper stairs that would lead from his rooms to the Occulus because Angela hated flying. He felt bad immediately, and knew he was going to have to make it up to her. He strode past the Tree of Clarity to the levitation plate that would take him up to the Occulus.
As the thick glass hexagonal plate lifted up into the air, glowing a faint blue, a slight breeze blew about Drae created by the movement, and it ruffled his free-flowing hair and over-robes. The plate moved at a quick pace, carefully controlled for safety by Tar Eisalae itself, though it seemed for him it was moving quite a bit quicker. The plate came to rest in the center of the Occulus, the three orbs representing Revaliir and her two moons Parvpora and Canelux floating, rotating, and orbiting above him while the Himiria Frame rotated outside the Occulus crystal dome. Up here, the air crackled with music, and Drae felt it filling the fibers of his being. Up here, the voice of Tar Eisalae was even more clear to him.
He was facing his 'throne' when the levitation plate came to a stop, and his heart throbbed in his chest when he saw Angela sleeping in his large plush chair, her long vibrant red hair draped over one arm of the chair, curled up beneath a blanket. He couldn't help but smile. Gods how he had missed her. Quietly, he crept up to her and tucked the blanket beneath her chin and pressed a kiss to her forehead.
He smiled broadly at her. "Hello, my Love," he said softly as he caressed her face. "How have I missed you," he sighed as he kissed her gently on the lips.

Angela frowned deeply as she sat in her chair and listened to the onslaught of several different voices. She was rubbing her forehead. This newest set of choices in deities were making her head spin. She laid in her throne as if she was being tortured by the choices the Voice put forth. She had nothing against Xunatar. The balance of the world would always need people like him in power somewhere. It was the Voice taking her husband. The plus side was that he would be immortal by her side. They could be together always. The downside? He was all the way over in fucking Parvpora. A groan left her lips as she became depressed again.
It didn’t shock her in the slightest that he would go back to his roots. The moment she felt his ascension she knew where he would be. Parvpora was his home. That was where she had found him and that was where he had lost everything. The Gardens had been his home but not in the way that Parvpora had been to him. A deep frown crossed her face.
“My lady, are you listening to us? The forests are sad right now!” The druid stomped her foot and Angela’s green eyes drifted over to her.
“The forests are sad because it is winter. Spring will soon be here and they will be better. You don’t need me to fix what isn’t broken. Simply be patient for the wet warmer weather that Terra brings. The more snow we have the better the fertility of the soul. The better the trees, shrubbery, and everything else will be,” Angela spoke as if it was a silly thing to complain about. “Trees are just like people. Winter sucks.” She sighed a bit and waved her hand off. “Is that all?” The druids of Virens stared at her with disbelief. She had never blown them off before. They knew she was depressed, anyone could see it. They didn’t blame Angela. Before Drae, she had been vastly independent but she had been lonely. Now she had Drae and they were continents apart.
She slinked out of her chair and waved as she left. “Take care of the temple while I’m gone. I decided I’m not dealing with anything today. Guests are to be roomed or if they can’t wait for me to not be busy… then they don’t deserve my blessing.” She waved her hands at her clergy. “Keep the children out of trouble.” She grabbed a blanket draped it over herself and found the mirror that connected their realms together. They were made from lacriamium and magical quicksilver. They had been Drae’s first gift after he became a god. It had been several days, a week maybe, since she had last saw Drae or heard his voice. They were both incredibly busy people now.
Spring would be the worst and she had her fears that she wouldn’t be able to see him until all the fields had been sown, all the trees had been budded, and that everything was basically fertile. Of the Gods currently, her job was one of the hardest seasonally. Not to say that Naota’s job wasn’t hard but her’s seemed to keep her busy. With her big cozy blanket, she passed through the portal.
Tar Eisalae was beautiful and she gave credit where it was due. She knew that Drae’s mind was beautiful. She had seen it from the very first moment they had met. No matter how many times he had told her that all he was, was a liar and a scoundrel.
Walking from his study to the library. She took a look around, of course, it wouldn’t change in the small amount of time he had been a god but still… this place was him. She would love it. She frowned at the large floating platform and grumbled a bit about how walking up the stairs would take a long time and she wanted to see Drae now.
Going against her better judgment she got onto the large glass platform and it started to float up. By the time she reached the top she was buckled over and holding herself. She really did hate air travel. Her green eyes looked up and she pulled herself off the floor. She made her way up and she found his chair empty. A frown came to her face and she decided she would wait for him.
She climbed into the large armchair and curled up on it. It was comfortable, a lot better than most thrones. Closing her eyes she drifted asleep waiting for him to notice she was there.
