The alabaster city has been fully mobilized for an all-out war against the waves of invaders coming from the west. For the first time in decades, war elephants are being deployed alongside the kingdom’s army. The defenders are being supported by fighters and craftsmen from Mo’mey while calling in allies from surrounding areas. Survivors from the chaos wrought by the mad priest of a fallen god have lent their aid to bolster Mamlak’s armed forces, which took significant losses from the bloody curse inflicted by the Deities of Chaos and Death.

The invasion could not have come at a worse time for the city of the Golden Lion. Still suffering from the curse that bewitched the city’s leonine statues to come to life every moon, Mamlak’s armed forces were already strained. As a royal decree, King Mojaku has ordered the war elephants to be prepared for the first time in decades. Fortunately, Mamlak’s call for aid did not go unanswered. Nomads from Aestas were quick to respond, providing supplies and manpower. The island of craftsmen Yovaesh sent their best blacksmiths and builders to construct fortifications and forge weapons. Additional military assistance from Sviet also arrived to bolster Mamlak’s ranks.

The battles are fierce as they are facing an enemy the likes of which they have never seen. The city is fighting on two fronts, from the west and from Laeto. Enemy forces are attempting to cut Mamlak off from the rest of the continent and potential reinforcements. The allied forces' top priority is the elimination of enemy strongholds in the rainforest. Once Laeto is secured they can focus their full efforts on pushing out the invaders to sea.
