Even with the divine, there seemed to be rules they had to follow, lest they would anger an entity that elected them and could pass judgment upon them. He was unfamiliar with what this being could be in this world, but needless to say, it seemed displeased with the course of actions taken between its selected. “I see. Has this course of action finally cease her wrath?” Raeguel barely knew Dalanesca, but he wasn’t sure as to why she had attacked Angela and her home. It had been a shame considering how good of friends they once were before the blowout. Personally unless called for, he was attempting to stay away from this conflict for the longest time. There was something different about her, other than the obvious stature problem. Something that laid beneath her eyes spoke the tell and he didn’t press it anything further for the time being. “Don’t worry about it”, he spoke, waving it off, “As long as I’m here, you won’t have to deal with the hair and the dresses.” The hug was a bit awkward, but he made do and hugged her back. Before he could say anything, they were off to her study, which was one of the places in the temple he hadn’t explored. The room itself was amazing as he looked around it before being thrusted into a chair by Angela. He had forgotten about her strength as he adjusted himself into his seat only to have her fall into it. “Hm, no thank you”, he replied as he watched her munch one of her sweets. He gave a pondering look about this Voice she spoke of as being the culprit towards her punishment before wrapping his fingers around the blood wine offered. It didn’t take long for him to taste the drink which was as exquisite as the rest of the her offerings. Stopping for a moment, he shook his head, “Melina wasn’t going to come here on her own accord. As soon as news of what happened to you came, she grew depressed and refused to go anywhere. She was mourning and still likely is. I came here to see why the Gardens still stand, and the answer for that is sitting on me.” “Was this the plan, or did you now know what this Voice was going to play this outcome?”, he decided to ask, revealing the elephant in the room. “I suppose that it was the latter. When I talked to our son, he told me that you willingly let yourself be hit by her bombardment. I know about self sacrifice, so I trust your judgment, but I think it goes without saying that a lot of people love you and were heartbroken, Angela. Our children alone grieved for a long time, but they are doing better. Nerezza’s wedding is drawing closer and Lucian has done your Court well, despite a few…hiccups. But I think that squire of yours, Episcia cleared up the those loose ends.”

Angela stared at him with a pleased look as he figured out that it was indeed her. “Punishment. This is punishment towards Dalanesca and me for our in fighting.” She ruffled her hair softly once more. She looked up at him and there was a little bit of shame showing through in those green eyes. Something she would have hidden before if it had been the adult her. “I was in a foul mood from having my hair pulled and dresses forced on. You caught the end of it.” She had big words as she melted against him in a hug. She put her face into his thigh and peeked up at him in shame.
“Maybe?” It was a child’s answer as she reached up and took his hands now. “Can we go to the study?” There was a sort of tiredness to her voice as she pulled him along. She found the door that opened for no one but Lucian and herself. She pushed it open easily. The study had many things in it and it was more beautifully decorated than the rest of the temple in her opinion.
There was a tray of sweets and a chair. She pushed him down into it and climbed up onto his lap. “Do you want a sweet?” She offered him one first as if she had manners still before forcing one in her mouth. “I’ve had myself restricted to child like behavior. Sweets, playtime, and trouble are what the Voice ordered.” She looked down at the glass of juice for herself and had a glass of blood wine made for him soon after. “Here.” She held up the glass to him as she snuggled into his lap.
Reaching down below the chair she pulled out a teddy bear and curled up with it on his lap as she sipped on the juice. “Where have you been anyways? I expected you both back here as soon as Dalanesca exploded me.”

The girl’s erratic behavior continued to shock Raeguel, but what she said to prove the case that she was Angela quickly made his jaw drop. If he was capable of blushing, his face would have been rosy pink when she guessed what his birthmark was and its location. “How do you…” The daywalker was starting to think that Melina had said something to her about it, or maybe his own daughter had for some sick joke. But neither of them would have disrespected Angela’s memory like that. He was taken back even more the longer the girl ran her mouth, speaking of things descent girls wouldn’t and it bit by bit she was starting to sound like her. Before she could so graciously give everyone their vivid imagery of his body parts, he quickly took hold and covered her mouth. The blushing would have made him as red as a fresh tomato by now if he could. The man’s head was spinning and it didn’t help that she was biting him to let them all here what she had to say next, all the while the clergy’s faces spoke the tale he didn’t want to come to surface. “No she can’t!”, he yelled in retort but the damage had been done and all he could do was look at his former lover with a dumbfound stare. If anything else, she had been one of a few people that was capable of doing that to him. “Angela…what in the world…” A reincarnation gone haywire? That was the first thought he could muster as soon as he let him understand this situation and accept that it was her. He fell back onto his backside and couldn’t help but to stare at her. How in the world would he explain this to their children and Melina? “How was I supposed to know? You and every blasted redhead little girl here look alike now.” He took another deep breath and collected himself. “Wasn’t there another way to prove yourself than that…flattering show you just put me on?”

Angela stuck her tongue out at the clergy members as he began to question things. He didn’t know it was her. How could he NOT know it was her? She had pushed his children from her! HOW DARE HE! Her face got red a bit as she kept the insult in her mind. “I am her and I shall prove it!” She smacked the inner of his left thigh. “I’ve seen your birthmark.” She kept smacking that same part. “It is in the shape of a bird.”
Tilting her head up at him. “Do not even get me started on your behind as you walk away. It used to be so nice to watch.” The words leaving the goddess’s mother had the clergy members blushing. “Let’s not even get into the description of what he has in his PANTS.” She started to bring her hands up and Raeguel was quick to grab her and put his hands over her mouth.
She began to bite at his hands. “NOW YOU KNOW.” The clergy member’s were red in the face but were waiting to see if she could say anything else. “Melina can tell you more!” She was yelling at the clergy members scattered. She had succeeded in making all of them embarrassed. She put her hands on her little hips and stared at Raeguel. “I thought we had something special and you couldn’t tell it was me?” Her voice went high-pitched. She tussled her hair and gave him attitude.

Looking at her face, there was something too familiar from it that unnerved Raeguel. His suspicions about her being the late Goddess’ daughter seemed more valid than before. But there was something odd when she spoke, calling him by name when he had never met the girl before. But she spoke as if they known one another for years. “Save? What am I saving you from, sweetheart?” His hand felt onto the top of her head and petted her gently. The itch of something bizarre going on was growing more as it plagued the knight. Perhaps Melina or someone else that was still around would know who she was. Speaking of which, he could see a gang of clergy members coming, with dresses and candies in hand. He looked back down to the child, taken back by her reactions and the closeness she had with him. Perplexed, he held out a hand to try and halt the coming party. “Now wait a moment. Can someone tell what you are planning on doing to this girl? And which of Angela’s daughters or granddaughters is she?” He took a deep breath and shook his head when the answer came from one of the women. “She is no child of Angela’s. She is Angela.” Eyes grew wide at what was just spoken and he immediately looked at her. “No, it can’t be her.” He moved away from her and kneeled over to face her. “Alright little darling, who are you really?” Perhaps they were all trying to entertain her and spare her of the pain and agony of the Goddess’ fate. Something was aching in his mind, a part was wondering if this truth had been spoken and it was her. But something didn’t add up right here. “You can’t be her, right?”

Darkness. It scared her a lot more than she was willing to admit. Sure she told people that she was scared of it but it didn’t describe the fragmented details of the whys. Being suspended in a gem against your will was terrifying. She knew that Drae had meant well but it was the lasting effects on the child’s brain.
She had been draped in silk of the finest kind. It wasn’t every day that you got to play dress with your matron goddess. Frustrated sighs left her as the clergy pulled on her hair and dressed her in what they perceived as cute. Now she was wondering around the temple as if she were on a mission. A mission to stay the hell away from clergy members. This was not princess dress up. Nor was she a princess. She was a queen! A GOD!
Her childish desires, however, made her stay and let them dress her. She played with them. She let them stuff her face with all kinds of good food that she should have been eating. Finally, she was by herself. His voice caught her attention first and finally her eyes snapped up to Raeguel. “RAEGUEL! MY KNIGHT! You’ve come to save me!” She ran over to him and hugged his legs gently. She clung to him as she saw clergy members coming with yet more dresses. “Save me.”
"I WILL GET ALL OF YOU BACK." She said from Raeguel's legs as she climbed in between his legs and pointed. "You'll see!" They were laughing but they held out a bowl of candied treats. Her mouth was watering and for a second she began to reach out to get the treat. "Raeguel I don't want my hair tugged on anymore."

Raeguel felt many emotions once the news hit him. The first was obvious- sadness over the lost of someone that was a good friend to him. Over the course of time, Angela and him may not have agreed completely on everything, but there was a form of respect between them even in his darker times. The goddess hadn’t wronged anyone for such a fate to happen to her. The pain only strengthened as he thought about their children; Lucian and Nerezza grieved in their own way and fashion and he made sure to see both of them. While his son had to take over the Red Court and be strong for his people, he was there to provide comfort to his only daughter. They were both in pain with the loss of their mother and it troubled him. As it did when he thought about the rest of Angela’s family, especially the little ones. It was a terrible shame, but there wasn’t much that could be done aside from picking up the pieces and helping them anyway he could. Despite her demise, the Sundering Gardens remained, and he was unsure why. At the same time though, he was grateful because Melina was still alive and he made sure to fed her his blood when needed. Sometimes he would have to be reminded by Lucian to do so but for the most part he was careful not to tempt fate. Still, he couldn’t help but to wonder why the temple stood. When a divine fell or died, their temple would soon become undone afterwards, but…this was a strange occurrence and to quiet the nagging voices in his head, Raeguel decided to go there to figure things out. The knight made it to the temple in some comfortable red and golden garbs in contrast to his dragonscale armor, his white hair tied into a straight ponytail behind him. The place seemed like always had even without its master, which further his suspicions about what had happened. Nothing seemed to add up right to him and it wasn’t long into him traveling through the courtyard that he spotted the figure of a child not too far. He assumed that she was one of Angela’s daughters for she had the same red locks, but to his knowledge, he didn’t know of this one. Very carefully he approached her, he didn’t want to scare her off or anything. It was also odd when he took to notice that no one was around her at the time. “Excuse me miss, what are you doing out here all alone?”, he asked in a soft voice and he went to go and see her face.
