Dalanesca gave Angela a soft laugh. “I don’t know that I would call it fretting,” she said, her hand moving aside as Angela’s replaced it. “I almost want to refer to it as annoyance, if I’m to be honest.” She paused, and felt the need to reiterate what she meant. “Not annoyance with the child, of course, but annoyance in general at the fact that I’m not used to being so worn down!” She listened as Angela continued speaking, nodding as she went on to explain about the ways that babies behaved when in the womb. She let out a chuckle as Angela aroused laughter from Rohan, blowing on his stomach.
She listened, mildly intrigued, as Angela continued to talk about her experiences with strong infants in the past. She was unfamiliar with the names spoken by her fellow goddess, though that of Nemesis raised a bit of a memory within her mind. She was quite sure that she had heard the name in passing before, and perhaps it had been in conversation with Angela that she had heard it. She brushed it off for the time being, and nodded, grateful that she understood that Angela was not needed to go to some of the lengths she would to protect Dalanesca from her child.
She looked down as Angela lay hands on her pregnant stomach once more. “I don’t know that it is necessary,” she said, sighing. “While I’m sure it would be much more relaxing, I
am divine and I should probably just stick it out,” she said, with a laugh. “I’m not so much worried about what kind of mental powers this one possesses - I think it’s Marth’s dracomancy that is giving her such strength. Coupled with my divinity, she’s going to be a force to be reckoned with,” she said, and she could not help but proudly smile as she thought of how strong little Katja would be when she arrived into the world.
Dalanesca let out a chuckle as Rohan’s tiny hands found her stomach as well. She felt a bit of a kick from the baby inside her, and she looked at Rohan with a twinkle in her eye. “Katja says hello to you, too, Mister Rohan,” she said, and reached out to brush a hand against the top of his head.

Angela waved her hand and chuckled. “Do not fret my dear Dalanesca.” Moving her hand she gently rubbed at Dalanesca’s belly softly as she smiled. “She is just very strong. Some babies have a period where they go silent. Rohan went silent just before he dropped in my belly. Trust me Ro is very vocal.” As if on cue, the baby started to make noise at his mother. Angela chuckled and took the child up into her arms. “Isn’t that right?” She raspberried his belly and Ro squealed.
She smiled towards Dal and nodded. “Strong blood does that. When I was pregnant with Lucian and Nerezza, Nerezza was killing us both. She was so strong with her magic that we needed to put a block on it. Of course, this was in Daeluin before I became an Avatar. Nemesis and my blood mingling did some work. I should say Raeguel now shouldn’t I?” She chuckled a bit more as she thought about it. “Strong bloodlines mean strong children. You’ll survive because you are a god. If you wouldn’t I would have to put a block on the child.”
She reached with a free hand and rubbed Dal’s belly once more. “I could put a block on her if you wished but I’m not sure what it would do. Just like how I wasn’t sure how Nerezza would have faired. At the time we knew that there was one but once we calmed the psionic powers the girl had we noticed her brother.” She gave a smile. “But I can tell you for certain there is only one in there.”
Ro leaned with his mother and put his hands on Dal’s belly as if he was saying hi. It was like he understood and it didn’t shock Angela because in a way Ro was extremely close to life’s cycle. “He says hello Little One.”

Dalanesca offered her fellow goddess a smile as she entered the library. She moved to stand in respect of her elder - but decided against it when she realized just how long it was going to take her to do so. “Forgive me,” she said, in reference to her failure to rise from her sedentary position. “But, I think you of all people will understand why I have chosen to remain seated,” she said, giving Angela a mischievous smile. The woman had bore more children than anyone else Dalanesca knew combined, and she had to give her a lot of credit. This whole pregnancy thing wasn’t exactly agreeing with her, no matter how well she seemed she was doing.
Dalanesca cast her attention towards Rohan, smiling warmly at him. “He’s growing up awfully fast,” she said, the smile never fading. She had a moment where she pictured little Katja growing up and playing with Rohan there on the ground. She could feel Angela’s gaze come to rest on her protruding belly. “Alright, I suppose,” she said. “For a while I was getting worried. Her kicks had died down and weren’t as strong, but now… they’re back full force,” she said with a laugh. “I’ve got bruises to prove it,” she said, gesturing to her stomach. “And I could have sworn she cracked one of my ribs the other day… Seeing Marth after that was odd. It was like he was worried that I was injured, but he was also so excited about how much movement she’s having,” she added with a laugh.
“I’m just so damn tired all the time. I keep trying all these remedies but none of them really seem to help,” she said, with a sigh. “Any suggestions?” she asked, with a bit of a laugh.

“And up.” She pulled the little boy up and helped him stand. He was so cute in his new little clothes. He was busy with green eyes looking about and his hair had turned red with the fall. “You, my dear are the most handsome prince in the entire realm. Don’t ever let your brothers hear that.” She kissed his forehead as Rohan snapped his eyes to his mother. He let out a squeal and Angela lifted him up onto her. He was holding himself up now and it made her so proud.
“My lady?” Melina popped her head in and Angela turned to her. “Lady Dalanesca is here. She’s in the library.”
Nodding to the girl she moved her hand to non-verbally tell Melina to take a break. She had the whole outside world to explore now. Not to mention a man willing to show her it. That sounded like an amazing adventure for someone to take.
Angela was fast paced now as she traveled the halls. Her dress was flowy and due to that Rohan had made it a game to try and catch the fabric. He let out high pitched squeals whenever he managed to catch it and the goddess would chuckle as the fabric faded through his hands. It made the baby frustrated but even more determined to catch it.
“You know Dal, you look beautiful.” The woman came into the library and Rohan snapped his attention to her. He knew her. Taking a seat by the goddess, Angela put Rohan on the floor. The fish had his attention now as he crawled towards them. Taking the edging of the tables he pulled himself up and grinned towards them both. “He’s growing up way too fast.” Angela’s eyes drifted to Dal’s stomach. “How are you fairing?”

Dalanesca lay a hand on her swollen belly, resting in a fairly comfortable chair in the massive library within the Sundering Gardens. She hadn’t felt like wandering around to find Angela, and this seemed as good of a place as any. The area itself was rather beautiful, and the water in the grotto was quite calming to her. She had been meaning to visit Angela for some time now, but she found that the later she got in her pregnancy, the harder leaving her realm seemed to be. Her powers hadn’t faded, but she felt more tired and exhausted than she could recall, chalking the exhaustion up to the fact that the baby inside of her had been created by a god and a dracomancer - not exactly two calm beings.
She was hoping that it would not take Angela too long to appear - but she knew that her fellow Triune was most likely busy attending to one thing or another. Therefore, she did not grow impatient, but rather more calm. She knew that speaking to Angela - her friend and colleague, as it were, would put her more at ease. It seemed that as of late, the baby had been much more active than she had expected, to the point where black and blue marks had begun to show from the unborn child’s movements. It seemed extreme, but she knew that there would be no one better than Angela to question about the matter.
She glanced down at her stomach, protruding beneath the fabric of the dress that she wore, and could not help but smile. She and Marth had also decided on a name, and she could not wait to share that with her friend. “Wait until Angela hears of what a little spit fire you’ve been,” she said lovingly to the child inside of her. She was met with a forceful kick, which drew quite a gasp from her.
