(Ooc: sorry been sick and busy with DnD)
This new world made him jumpy and uncertain about so many things. Especially since he was born without the ability to communicate to others without his guitar. The instrument was the only thing other then his twin sister that understood him. He was glad his friend taught him how to play it. He also understood him, almost like his twin sister. Bruin was his only true friend, ever since he was a baby, because Jaci sent him to watch over Martris.
As the girl spoke, he tilted his head wondering how she knew he was scared of monsters coming out or after him. When she explained she was a seer, he understood. His father used to teach him and his sister about magic and people who used it. His favorite subject was seers and sirens. His dad used to say he was a siren with the way he could play the guitar and express his emotions that way.
'Iva, what a pretty name..' Feeling her take his hand sent shivers down his spine and a warm feeling in his stomach. Maybe he wasn't cursed to not have friends because he couldn't speak. As they traveled through the wheat fields, he thought about the garden and Iva's mother. 'I wonder if she's like my momma.. Or Jaci.. I miss them so much.'
Being asked his name, made him a bit nervous. Only because he never heard his name much any more. Running his fingers through his curly hair, he sighed softly. 'Martris, but Bruin and Maribelle call me Tris.' Nodding about the fast journey, he heard the wind swirl around him only to be stopped in his tracks by Bruin himself. "Tris, I was worried about you. Why would you take off like that? You know I can't sense you without you saying my name or using magic."
The elemental folded his arms and finally noticed Iva holding his hand. "You made a friend? I'm glad, your twin wouldn't want you miserable without her and you've been moping lately." Sinking down he looked Iva in the face, whispering so only she could hear. "Be nice to master Tris, he misses his family and my creator Jaci. If you can 'hear' him, be careful with what he says, because somethings he is sensitive about." Smiling he rises again and looks around. "I feel similar magic to what I was created with. This intrigues me greatly. Tris, I will only be a call away if you need me. I want to explore this realm a little."
At that, Bruin disappeared into the nearest tree, wanting to know more about the area he found his master in. Martris turned to Iva and frowned. 'He is my guardian, but I am his master. Miss Jaci made him for me to protect me and care for me.' Talking about Jaci made him more sad, only because he missed her deeply. With a squeeze of his hand he hoped she continued walking and showing him this garden. 'I.. Would like to meet your mother, I don't want her to be worried because I'm a stranger to you and this realm.'

A smile crossed her lips as she watched the boy. He was jumpy and that was alright to her. After all her mother did tell her that boys did not so much like it when they got measured up by girls. Though there appeared to be something different about this boy. She tilted her head at him and for a moment those dark brown eyes lit up a light blue. “There's no monsters here silly.” She could read his mind after all. She was in training to become a seer for her mother. Someday she wanted to be of great importance. She wanted to run the world with her.
She took his hand and shook it gently. “My name is Iva. I am a seer for my momma. She is a goddess known as The Mother. This is her realm. There isn't anything here that can hurt you. I live here.” She smiled more as she took his hand gently still in hers and lead him away from the wheat fields. “You will be more comfortable in the gardens at the temple I think. We can play there! My room is there. What is your name?”
She wasn't sure why he wouldn't talk to her but she would continue to read his mind if he was more comfortable with that. “It isn't that far and I'm sure Momma will let us have a fast journey.” Brown eyes looked up and she watched the sky. “She is here today. We can play with her if you want. She is very nice.”

Where he was going, he didn't have a clue. All he knew was, was these lands were different. Far different then where he was born and cared for. Now life was different and he didn't know how to exactly handle it. Even his father was different and that frustrated the little boy. All in all, he missed his mother and most of all Jaci. She really understood him and treated him well, but he knew he would never see her again.
As he let thoughts rule his mind, he didn't pay a bit of attention to where he was, until a girl about his age appeared and was screaming. Taking a step back from her, he didn't know whether to run or defend himself. As she tried to put her foot next to his, he jumped backwards still unsure of the other child.
Being a born mute, sometimes had its disadvantages. For example, he couldn't tell the other girl to calm down and not be so loud, because there could be monsters about. Not that the wheat fields seemed to hold any. Bitting his bottom lip, he dusted off his blue tunic and dark brown pants before taking another step away from her. Running hand through his curly blonde locks he decided to stay. Looking the girl over with his crystal blue eyes, he offered a hand out to her in proper greeting.

“ADVENTURE!”
“LADY IVA GET DOWN FROM THERE!” A clergy member yelled as the young Rosenite jumped off of a high bookshelf in the library. The clergy member moved fast and caught her small form before crumbling onto the ground beneath her. “Please don't do that to me Lady Iva my heart can't take it.”
Iva gave him a toothy grin as she panted his shoulder. “It'll be okay! I'm going to go out to the fields now okay?” The red head ran out before the clergyman could object. Her curly hair bounced happily as she ran across the huge bridge, only stopping to listen to her mother sing in the footpath. Before long she was running down the mossy steps and through the field of wheat.
“Adventure. I'm going on an adventure!” She sang as she crawled through the wheat field in her silk dress. Any other parent would have been so angry with her for ruining such expensive clothes but not her mother. Her mother could not care less as long as Iva was happy. Her brown eyes caught sight of a foot as she crawled and she looked through the wheat before getting up and running over to a boy almost as big as she was.
“A kid.” She was almost breathless as she got close to him. “You are like me. YOU ARE LIKE ME AND I DON'T KNOW YOU?” She was excited as she put her barefoot out and measured it next to his. She tilted her head and took his hand. “I'm Iva!” She stomped her feet happily with energy as she squealed his existence to the quiet fields.

Nothing seemed to be going right for Martris, especially since the day that his mother left with his sister. Part of him wondered why he didn't just leave with his mother, especially since his father was acting the way he was. The lands were so wild and foreign, he didn't know what to really think of the place, except he couldn't feel Jaci here.
Ever since the move to this world, Martris felt more alone then ever. No family but his father and no life with his sister gone. How was he supposed to communicate? How was he supposed to find what he needed? Nothing was the same here, familiarity was what he wanted, this was not.
As Martris walked, he could only think of his mom and sisters. Every bit of him wondered where they were and how they were. Every day that he was apart from them, made him feel more and more alone. His puppy Rogue was no help, since he stuck by Haden all the time now. Hanging his head, Martris didn't even notice the archway that he walked through. None of the vast landscape even caught his eye. Nothing seemed to cheer the poor boy up, all he could do was think of his broken family and Jaci.
