"Get out of here. Go on. Go!"
Evelyn is not the nicest person you will meet. She is… complex, to say the least. On the surface, Evelyn is an angry, fierce warrior who will not let anyone get in her way. She can be rude, ignorant, and provoking. She will lie, cheat, and manipulate to achieve her goals if necessary. Given these qualities, it is no surprise that Evelyn has difficulty making friends and cooperating in teams. Many have placed her in the "too hard" pile and keep their distance. None have discovered the well of humility in Evelyn's nature - not even Evelyn herself. She is confused about who she is and her place in the world. The worst part about it is not knowing WHY she is so irritable and feels so disconnected with herself. Nothing particularly bad has happened to her… not really…

History"You still here??"
Please, try not to get offended by Evelyn's… abrupt manner. She is hardly to blame. You see, she has had a… challenging life, and I'm afraid this has taken its toll on her ability to show general kindness and patience.
Let me explain. Evelyn's parents… never really wanted her. They loved her and provided for her, but they never really
wanted her. They wanted her stillborn older brother. They wanted the first child they had conceived, who would have been strong and smart and able to protect his family. Evelyn was sidelined for most of her childhood while her parents slept in their deep, immobilising grief. As a result, Evelyn had to fend for herself. Don't get me wrong: she had good parents who loved her and provided her with food and shelter. But they were not capable of giving Evelyn the type of love she really needed: acceptance. Perhaps unconsciously, to get the attention she needed, Evelyn started expressing an interest in things that a son - not a daughter - would have been interested in. Sword training, hand-to-hand combat, climbing trees and cliff edges… Reading and learning. But this behaviour only drew her parents further from her. They wanted their daughter to behave like a daughter, to learn how to be a good wife for a respectable man someday who could look after her. Eventually, the conflict between Evelyn and her parents grew too great, and she left them. She didn't have anywhere to go or any particular goal to achieve, but she knew that she had reached a point where staying with them was only harming her.
Perhaps she grew angry because they never came after her. Perhaps she grew angry because they only wanted her to marry, and nothing else. Or perhaps she grew angry because she was simply never truly heard or seen…
