After spending most of his life drifting around and barely scrapping by, Donald decided that he had had enough with barely surviving day to day life as a hobo. He spent years saving up his money until eventually he could afford a sturdy pickaxe that he would use to begin his life anew as a hobo. With experience and insight gained and determination in his eyes he quickly grew to become a moderately skilled miner in a short amount of time.

Donald's life now revolves around being in the mines and digging up whatever types of minerals he can find. Gold, silver or even copper; all irrelevant to Donald as he loved them all equally so. When observed he can often be found prospecting and surveying the area he's in to determine if anything could be dug up which has landed him in copious amounts of trouble to the point that he's often forcefully removed from towns and villages for plotting to destroy public property.
