All About Malik Stonemason

Despite his last name, and the family business, Malik chose to become a smith. He apprenticed himself to the town smith at a relatively young age and as he grew, so did his craft. At the age of 18 he possessed a passable knowledge of stonemasonry, mostly the result of mealtime conversations with his family and the occasion project brought home, a high level of skill as a blacksmith, and a sprinkling of other smithing trades such as gold, silver and copper smithing. While not unintelligent, he tends to rely on his brute strength to get the job done. While he has never been formally trained in combat, he has held his own in many a brawl. Raised by kindhearted parents, he has a strong desire for true justice to be done. While he appreciates the value of laws, he understands that laws are made by flawed beings and are therefore flawed as well. He has complete his apprenticeship and is currently looking for a place of employment. (open to recommendations as to his city of origin)

Backpack

A hardy pack, with two straps that allow it to be worn on one's back. It's ideal for carrying supplies while on the move.

Bastard Sword

A sword with a grip long enough to allow for two-handed or one-handed use. This blade is used to cut into enemies.

Boots

Simple, sturdy footwear, usually made of leather.

Broadsword

A simple sword of steel construction. Serviceable, if not exceptional.

Buckler

This small, round shield is gripped with the fist. It is highly maneuverable, and a popular choice in melee combat.

Common Trousers

Sometimes called pants, this garment is worn on the lower body, and covers the legs. These trousers are long and extend down to the ankles.

Common Tunic

A simple garment which might resemble a long shirt that stops somewhere between the wearer's hips and ankles. The sleeves may be long or short, depending on the local climate.

Dagger

A short, bladed weapon with a sharp point. Can be used to slash or pierce an enemy.

Gloves

Meant to be worn on the hands, these gloves are sturdy and warm.

Hunter's Instinct

Creates heightened senses needed to be a hunter. I.e. Smell, sight, etc.

Strength

Increases the physical strength of the user for a short time.

Whetstone

Used to sharpen objects.

Blacksmith Tools

A handy kit of simple blacksmiths tools: Anvil, forge, tongs, hammer, chisels, and rods to hammer out and craft tools. Warning: some of these tools are not (that) portable!
