Back story:
Zephyn was born and raised in a whorehouse in the pirate haven of Vilpamolan, his father an unknown pirate, his mother a whore. His mother did her best for him, teaching him what little she could about reading and writing, but nothing about math. She died shortly after his 13th birthday, from syphilis, leaving him alone. The madame of the house allowed him to stay in return for running errands and robbing or killing customers who refused to pay. Along with bad food and worse living conditions, she also gave him frequent beatings. After a particularly vicious beating, he fled to the streets, thinking of following his dream to become a famous mage, with wealth and power. But, alas, he was unable to use any magic. At all. Over time and after many failures, he developed a deep hatred for anything magical.
At the age of 19 he left the stinking streets and alleys behind, heading off for Virens forest, in seek of adventure and riches.
His main priority is himself. Always has been and likely always will be. He taught himself to fight, testing his skills against young men such as himself, aquiring decent skill with the blade. He cons and cheats and gambles his way through the world, a quick smile on his face and a quicker blade on his hip.
Tomb and grave robbing has become his main source of income, which usually winds up going to drink and cards.
