Backstory:
Coiv hatched from an egg alone without any intelligent living being nearby. For 96 years she grew and stayed where she was born (on a mountain). At only a few years of age, she once saw a human passing where she lived. She realized that it was an intelligent creature and practiced ever since to turn into a human. Having achieved this, she left her life of isolation in the mountains. Even though she is still relatively young, she is now traveling around to see if she can start a life and make friends.
