Personality: Aomine is a very conceited, arrogant, and rude individual. His sole drive to improve himself, through combat of course, drives every decision he makes. Though he comes off as an asshole, he does have a soft side for people who grew up in conditions similar to slavery.

Bio: Born under slavery in Ataiyo, Aomine grew up as a tough kid. He would often pick fights with the soldiers that occupied his village, and would often win, only to be outnumbered and beaten senseless into submission. However, this did not deter him, and when he had become a teen, he led a rebellion against his captors. The battle was hard-fought, but the soldiers seemed to hold the upper hand. That was when the samurai stepped in, and helped to save the village from the occupying soldiers. Aomine became infatuated with their overwhelming power, and followed them to their shogunate to train under them. Here, he learned how to wield a blade, how to tell a story through it with every slash, every strike, and every cut.
With each day that passed, his love for fighting grew, and he became drunk with power, often challenging the other samurai to sparring matches, which he would often win. His infatuation with their solemn and guarded ways slowly began to fade away, and he became angry that they would never go all out against him. And so, Aomine left the order in order to discover opponents he deemed worthy of fighting. In his quest, he engaged in a copious amount of drinking, and so he has lost all of his possessions with the exception of a small bandanna with the emblem of his former clan. Because of this, he has sworn off alcohol, and vows to drink only when he defeats the most powerful being in existence (which he truly believes he can do).

Current Weapon: Sawamura - An ordinary broadsword which he stole from a passing bandit. He shines it daily in order to use it's gleam to temporarily blind his opponents.

Normal Fighting Style: Kendo ("the way of the sword")
Current: Misdirection - As Aomine currently lacks usage of a katana, he instead uses trickery to his advantage, using every possible chance to draw attention away from himself during the battle so that he can strike where his opponent least expects. This style is a fluid, low stance with the sword poised in front of him.
Techniques:
1. Vanishing Drive - With this technique, Aomine creates the illusion of vanishing by using the gleam of his sword to distract his opponent, and uses complex foot movements in order to sneak behind his foe.
2. Phantom Strike - By kicking the ground in front of him, he can kick sand in front of his opponent's eyes, and he horizontally strikes through the sand to surprise his opponent.
3. Ignition - Aomine prefers to use only one hand while fighting, in order to keep the other free to maneuver. However, he can use his second hand in order to give his slash an additional ounce of power.
4. Cyclone - Similar to ignition, this technique uses the kinetic energy generated by spinning in order to add more force to his strike.
5. Overflow - With this technique, Aomine forcibly raises his own physical presence by attracting attention to him, giving his allies the mirage of being invisible.

Zone - In intense moments of focus, Aomine can switch to any of the following styles to throw off his opponent.
Yōsen - By standing taller and holding the blade with both hands, his strikes hold greater force than normal.
Kaijō - By focusing on his opponent, he can temporarily mimic the movements of his opponents, throwing them off balance.
Shūtoku - Aomine backs away, and focuses on perception, allowing him to gauge the physical threat level of an enemy.
Rakuzan - By focusing on his breathing, his mind temporarily speeds up and allows him to predict the movements of his enemies by looking at the triangle between the opponents chin and shoulders.
Seiren - Aomine completely shrugs off strategy and wildly swings his blade, throwing off his predictable nature to confuse his opponents.

Goal In RP: To become the strongest, and to kill the most powerful being in existence with his sword.

Extras: He is an alcoholic with 1 month of sobriety, and he has taken up smoking at times to deal with stress. He loves food, and his metabolism is frightening to many of those who associate with him. Even though he comes across as unsociable, he usually sticks with a group because he believes that stronger opponents are attracted to groups.
