Claribel Blue is somewhat of a soft-spoken girl, ever pleasant and watchful of the world around her. While she tends to be seen on the sidelines, she feels there's little to no reason why she shouldn't help someone if she can. She believes in redemption and encourages it strongly, though she would never force someone into it if they didn't truly want it. When she's thoroughly prepared, she has a rather adventurous soul and will go just about anywhere if it means knowledge can be gained.

Description:
Claribel is a dainty young woman with soft blonde locks that fall in wavy curls to tickle the nape of her neck and frame a face in perfect proportion. Her grey-blue eyes shine bright with a never-ending curiosity, seeking out answers yet not often prying, while her lips lock secrets tight behind a pretty smile. She is just two inches above five feet in height with a slender figure and some curve to her; she prefers dressing warmly and in a conservative manner, for she was raised properly, of course.

Backstory:
Claribel came from a rather calm family that lived in a little village known to very few as Littlehill, which, unsurprisingly, was founded atop a small, grassy hill. She had a very loving mother and a very loving father, both kind and ever levelheaded–the perfect role-models for a growing young lady.

Littlehill, as it was, was known simply as an adventurer’s resting spot to come and have a drink and restock on supplies before heading off again not long after. In fact, that was how Claribel’s father came to stay; he was a rather handsome crafty adventurer who slew all kinds of beasts and things–that was until he came to Littlehill for a good night’s sleep and happened to meet the most wonderful woman he had ever had the pleasure of meeting in his life. Claribel’s mother, on the other hand, was a pretty little tailor born and raised in the wilds, though she and her family moved to Littlehill as well when the wilds became a little too wild for them alone. Now, they did not marry immediately, mother and father; her father often departed for his many adventures, though he always came back to the tailor with complaints of torn gloves, a torn shirt, a torn cloak. After a few years of his antics, he finally asked the lovely tailor to marry him; they married and settled in Littlehill, steady on their way to having their first child together.

And so it was that Claribel grew up quite sheltered, though all of her needs were met and all her manners taught, books provided and tools set out for her to work and study to her heart’s desire. The one thing that Claribel took most interest in out of all that was provided for her was a wondrous thing, a wonder known as magic. And knowledge, but magic was more important, obviously. She studied and studied ‘til she could study no more, and, when she reached that point, she would study a little longer.

Claribel’s thirst for knowledge eventually grew too great for Littlehill’s books to quench, though, thankfully, at the time when it did, she was already of proper age to go out on her own if she so wished–and she did! She packed a satchel full of provisions, a journal included, kissed her mother and father upon their cheeks, and left their cozy cottage with a fiery determination in her ever-curious eyes.
