History: - Muraqaba was born to a witch and a necromancer. Together the couple studied dark magic until they uncovered an experimental ritual that they thought would provide them with a powerful weapon. The ritual involved the sacrifice of their first born son, Muraqaba. When the spell was set, the couple placed their son on the altar raised a ceremonial dagger and plunged it together through the heart of their son. Three mages from the college in Wyllmochvar broke into the chamber, a fight ensued. The experiment was interrupted.

There was an explosion of raw magic, dark energy filled the room. Muraqaba’s parents and the mages were all turned to dust, their energy being siphoned into the source of the magic – the altar and the stabbed body of the boy. Slowly the energy found a point on which to centre itself- the bleeding heart. The magic gently removed the dagger and sealed the wound. Muraqaba opened his emerald green eyes and lifted himself into a sat position.

The experiment had changed him, he was far stronger than before, his abilities with magic increased tenfold and he had been left with the darkest gift of all.
