All About Gnarsh

7'2 310lbs big and burly, Gnarsh definitely eats his own masterful cooking, he is also fully capable of physically tossing spiteful, short minded, racist, and rude customers to the street. His skin is more greyish than green his eyes, a very bright blue, are the only thing he got from his mother. His hide is thick and textured with a great many scars, and his hair is thick black and kept just long enough to cover any glint that might come off his skin.

Gnarsh was born on the northwest edge of Virens Forest. His mother was accosted by a band of marauding orcs whilst heading home from marketday in the local village the orcs almost killed her with the brutal beating that followed their initial actions, but survived she did. She was married to the hunter and they lived within the forest's canopy alone. The hunter liked it that way, away from civilization where he could be himself and let his beast out without judgement. The hunter was a werebear from birth and he and his wife shared such love that she took on the curse just to be with him, but she was always afraid of the beast and so never learned to use or control it. The last months of her life were sheer terror and hardship for her and the hunter, she died giving birth to Gnarsh. The hunter was so full of spite and hate that he carried the baby out in to the forest and left him for the elements in the early spring. for three days the hunter ignored the cries of the child while dealing with the death of his wife. On the third night however the moon came out and in place of the baby's cry was the mournful sound of a bear cub. Upon hearing this the hunter felt the tiniest shred of empathy for the child, after all the beast blood was all his doing, so he rescued the child and taught him to hunt and survive.

In his werebear form Gnarsh has the color of a black cave bear. Being a natural born werebear Gnarsh can invoke his change during times of strong emotional stress such as uncontrolled anger or pain. and of course every full moon brings the change too.

Gnarsh has a canine sense of smell, slightly better sight at night than an average human, and a rage issue that he inherited from his orc ancestry.
