Aviren stands at 5'3. Messy, curly copper hair that falls below his shoulders. Average build of a teenager with slight muscle definition. His ears are pointed. He is pale with delicate features and blue eyes. He has an effeminate nature and is often mistaken for a girl. As a Huldra Elf, he also has a long tail with a tuft of copper fur at the end. He also has a hollow back, framed by, what looks like, tree bark.

Aviren was a previously-thought impossible accident. It wasn't that his mother was surprised to find herself pregnant. Or that she was any less pleased at having a baby boy over a baby girl (If anything, she was more pleased). It was just that a boy had never before been born in recorded history. Huldra Elves, you see, were a completely female race. They would lure in men with their hypnotic dancing, mate, and generally kill the men after. So unexpected was his gender, that it took his mother a good three weeks to even notice that anything was different.

Aviren was the youngest of four siblings. His three older sisters, Maja, Alva and Ebba, treated him as a novelty pet. His mother, Ida, dressed him as a girl and hid his gender from the others. But as he grew older, certain things became harder to excuse. By his sixteenth birthday he'd had enough of all the suspicious looks and whispering behind his back. He took his mother aside and explained his intentions to leave, see the world and perhaps, just maybe, find a place with people like him.

Aviren can tap into the energy around him and use it to heal or release it in a blast. He can also fight with a broad sword. He has a small brown rat called Ama who lives in the hollow of his back.
