All About Liniv Lonsfoss
From her home plane of the Fey Wilds, the Lonsfoss family resides as a noble house amongst the Four Seasons Court, more specifically landing upon the Autumn Branch. Within that position, each house is dedicated to certain aspects of life, and where the Lonfoss landed, they handed Agriculture, Harvest, and Festivities, meaning they were the noble family most connected with the farmers and hunters of the Fey Wilds. While most families see this as a lower position to be so close to the commoners, the Lonsfoss family take great care in aiding where they can, so when harvest season was afoot, it was not irregular to see the noble family, still dressed in their former garbs, taking a hoe and basket in hand to the fields and helping take claim to the hard work the tired hands had gone through and celebrating with them with through the nights.
Liniv was certainly no different.
In fact, whenever there were formal meetings with the noble houses, she would be quick to try to find a way out of the meetings to be with hard workers her family watched over, an eager grin on her face when handling the fields. But that was not really her true calling. No, she more specialized in the hunt, catching certain game for when certain festivities arrived. Her rabbit-like form let her bound through the trees to scout out their prey before reporting back to her hunting party, on what was available and the best way to gather their catch.
Over time, her nimbleness caught the eye of a small guild called The Tree's Speech who specialize in exploring the Fey Wild's more natural and ruthless landscapes, acting as scouts to report Wild Magic shifts or finding those who have accidentally crossed into the Wilds on accident and guiding them back to safe lands where they can return to their home realm. While the Fey Wilds were her home, she never really delved too deep because of the dangers, so she was established as a trainee scout (which to her meant more excuses to avoid formal meetings), but during her training is when her truest spark of awakening occurred.
A simple arrow, but once it flew, a spectral being flew next to it. One on the shape of a hummingbird that make its own impact upon a target. A blessing of the Fey Wilds, Liniv called it, and more more she tried to hone it, the more she felt like she had gained some kind of control with them, taking a bigger form that had much more push or a more focused one that could collect items from afar. Most of them took a form of a bird,in one way or another, but she was not exactly arguing. All it meant was more aspects she could use to tackle what stood before her.
After some time as a trainee, she was ready for her first job as a scout… just not in the Fey Wilds. A more stable landscape where she could hone her skills without the risk of Wild Magic instability. She informed her family, who were more than accepting of this news as she made preparations to realm jump and find the city of Mirradel to begin her work.
But alas, it seems fate had other plans on where she would go…
