Once a powerful mage until his mind was corrupted by a Demon, and with the making of a deal. He lost his soul and upon his death. The demon, not yet through with him made his body horrid to look at and with power over the dead he rose from the grave , eager to do his masters bidding. Bringing villages to the ground and kingdoms to rubble to feed his master the souls of living and to feed himself off the flesh of the living. He continued to spread like a plague. Until a group of holy warriors defeated him and locked him into a tomb in a sarcophagus until they find the means to destroy him. In his sarcophagus he slumbered waiting for some fool to release him. Waiting for his chance to take vengeance on the family line that locked him away.
