All About Qadira 'Dhiib' Kassib

Qadira ‘Dhiib’ Kassib,

The only daughter of an Arriese butcher, Qadira grew up In Sularia with her parents and two older brothers. The eldest son Asir was trained in the family business of butchering and took over the family shop when Qadira’s father passed away. Her other brother, Abbas decided to go into the Arriese army – and it was in his footsteps Qadira had always followed. At the age of fifteen, she joined the army. It wasn’t long before she was promoted to serve alongside her brother Abbas in the royal guard.

A few years later, their mother died and Abbas and Qadira found themselves drifting from their older brother. One day Abbas and Qadira’s unit had pursued a group of slavers heading through the mountains to the north of Sularia. There was a skirmish in a forested valley – in the confusion of that encounter Qadira was attacked by a werewolf. She survived – but at a price.

Phoenix Feather

Rarely do phoenixes leave behind actual feathers, and even rarer do those feathers not burn up. This plume is, therefore, a fleeting beauty, preserved via alchemical means to stave off the flames that should have consumed it in the bird’s nest.

Apothecary Ingredient

Silver Ore

A piece of silver ore. Not very useful now, but maybe it can be combined with other things?

Round Shield

A circular shield of good quality and strength. Typically paired with a one-handed weapon to give the user a balance of offense and defense.

Spear

A sharp metal point has been affixed to a wooden pole. This is a simple weapon, best for thrusting at an opponent.

Polymorph

This spell allows the caster to take on the form of any animal size of a bear or smaller. Polymorph can also be used to transform individual parts of your body into parts of the described creatures.

Journal

The pages in this bound book are blank, allowing the owner to use it to keep a record of their thoughts and activities.

Predatory Bird

A large, majestic bird-of-prey, these birds are known for being skilled hunters with keen eyesight. These include eagles, hawks, owl and other large birds.

Reinforced leather armguards, they provide protection without sacrificing flexibility.

A short, bladed weapon with a sharp point. Can be used to slash or pierce an enemy.

The caster creates a small amount of food, enough for a single meal.

Common Tunic

A simple garment which might resemble a long shirt that stops somewhere between the wearer's hips and ankles. The sleeves may be long or short, depending on the local climate.

Common Trousers

Sometimes called pants, this garment is worn on the lower body, and covers the legs. These trousers are long and extend down to the ankles.

Cloak

This heavy, woolen cloak offers its wearer warmth and protection from the elements. It also has a hood, which can be drawn up to make the wearer seem more mysterious.

Boots

Simple, sturdy footwear, usually made of leather.
