Personality: Zaden is the type of person who flirts with almost everybody, even monsters. He enjoys gold, the arts, and all the pleasures of life. Some say that is greedy or glutinous but to him its living a good life. However, at the center of his life is his artist career. He values the importance of becoming the best overall artists, with or without his appearance. Zaden sometimes wonders if the only reason people value his work is because of his appearance. He also fears growing too attached to others, as they might end up hating him and rejecting everything about him. So he never lets anybody get too close to him or his hidden emotions.

Likes: Cats. Cats are his favorite animals. He also enjoys gold, jewelry, dancing, playing the lute/many other instruments, and practicing the arts in some form or another.

Dislikes: When people call him just a pretty boy. Or spiders. He hates spiders. Zaden also finds boredom to be one of the worst things imaginable.

Relations: His father, Caradoc Amoris. His step-mother, Derise Amorise. And his older brother, Janan Amoris.

Backstory: Before Zaden was the flamboyant flirtatious man that he is today, he used to be a quiet obedient child. He always behaved the way that his parents instructed and was constantly walking on eggshells around them. This was because he was a bastard and not considered a real son, despite the fact that his step-mother and father kept him. At first they were fine with him, even showed him bits of love when he behaved well. Until he ruined everything by saving his older brother. When Zaden was twelve and his older brother was fifteen, they had decided to head over to a dangerous area in the city. It was Janan’s idea but Zaden did go along with it. The two ended up getting beat up by bandits. The only reason why they weren’t both killed was because Zaden had managed to slip away and came back with a guard.

But when they got home, Zaden was blamed for the whole incident. Janan was too afraid of his parents to tell the truth so he put the blame on the bastard son. Zaden, foolishly believing that his parents would go easy on him and believed that it was better to take the blame so his beloved brother could go free. Zaden ended up getting kicked out of the house and rejected by his entire family, including his older brother. The first thing that Zaden learned when he was abandoned was that when people saw him, his appearance was the first thing they noticed. After his family kicked him out, money was tight and he had few skills that would be useful outside of the court.

While he was on the streets he met a lady named Charlotte Auniden. She was tall, elegant, and graceful. Charlotte took Zaden in as her newest young servent. She drew the boy in and made him sweep her floor with his broom. Promises of true love and safety filled his ears. The lady promised that she would never abandon him. So, he did everything that she required, no matter how tired he got. He learned the truth later. She was getting tired of him and caste him out in exchange for a new boy. It was winter and Zaden was becoming desperate. His pockets were empty and so was his stomach. Though he was older, around the age of fifteen, he still lacked the skills to get a decent job. Only one person held out her hand to him.

A woman by the name of Grace Bovelle had taken him in and at first Zaden felt safe. Eventually Zaden started to receive gifts and compliments from her. She was the owner of the Inn that he worked at and she gave him a simple choice. Either Grace or the deadly snow. Zaden chose Grace. Once spring came around, he got out of there as fast as possible. At first he feared that history would repeat itself. That is until he came across the bard troupe known as Echo Dreams. The troupe took him in and taught him how to dance, perform, and play music. They were his first family who truly cared about him. He received proper payment for his work and started a relationship with another man named Damien Viscon. However, after a long term relationship, they broke it off once Zaden found out Damien was only interested in using him. From then on, Zaden closed off his heart to the rest of the world and used flirting as a way to control the situation but never allowed himself to get emotionally interested.
