I'm a beginner at RP, but I'm really interested in learning about it! I'm open to constructive criticism, and overall I just want to have fun. :)

All About Eden Silverheart

As a protector of nature, Eden is aloof to the complications of the "outside world". Her greatest concern is for the continuation and proper cycles of nature- birth, growth, death, and rebirth. She views all things as cyclic and thus the battles of good and evil are only the rising and falling tides of time. Only when the cycle and balance are disrupted does she become concerned and involve herself.

Eden travels around the world, often joining other people as she does for safety.This is unusual for druids as they normally settle into a grove and spend their life nurturing and protecting it. Everywhere she goes she is searching for something, and moves on when she can't find it. She is very compassionate to those around her and looks for the best in people. When she becomes attached to a person or group, she becomes very protective of them. Despite this, sooner or later she leaves to continue her hunt.

Appearance
Eden isn't exceedingly strong, and relies mostly on her spell casting. She's a healer first and a fighter second. She is safest in groups containing warriors, but she is familiar with living alone and protecting and providing for herself. She doesn't wear any metal armor, only organic garments. Her hair is always up in a half bun and laced with fine braids. It's also often rife with leafs and the occasional stick despite her rigorous grooming. She stands at 5' 6" and weighs 130 lbs.

History
Eden was 11 years old when the forest she lived in caught fire. The blaze quickly tipped out of control, and her parents, both elder druids, tried to contain it. They failed and were consumed by the flames despite their best efforts. Eden fled her burning grove with her young five-year-old sister and did her best to raise her alone. She was capable in the fruitful summer forests, but in winter she had to move into the towns to support them once their food cache ran dry. She worked long days and nights to get enough food for her sister, yet still they often went days without eating at all. This continued for years until the cycle broke in Eden's 16th year. Away at a job all night, she returned to where she'd left her ten-year-old sister in a dilapidated inn, only to find it empty. Despite her frantic search, there was no word of her, no sighting from anyone. She investigated every lead, no matter how small, but it always turned up empty. She still searches vainly for her, hoping she isn't too late.

Using the power of one’s relationship with the earth, one is able to considerably speed up the growth of florae at a max of 40 feet. This allows the florae to grapple or contain the people around the caster.

Sometimes called pants, this garment is worn on the lower body, and covers the legs. These trousers are long and extend down to the ankles.

Common Tunic
A simple garment which might resemble a long shirt that stops somewhere between the wearer's hips and ankles. The sleeves may be long or short, depending on the local climate.

Commune With Nature
This spell allows the caster to communicate with plants.

A basic healing spell that will restore an injured person's health.

These herbs can be prepared in a variety of ways— ground into a balm, brewed into a tea, chewed whole, and more— and have a variety of properties that make them valuable to alchemists, healers, assassins, and more.

Hunter's Instinct
Creates heightened senses needed to be a hunter. I.e. Smell, sight, etc.

Mud Ball
The caster summons a ball of earth and hurls it at their target.

This spell allows the caster the ability to see better in the dark.
