Backstory: The problem with rich parents is that money often blinds its wielder and Hwyn's parents were no exception driven mad by their quest for wealth the pair of merchants took on increasingly strange and occasionally illegal deals while they left their child at home to a rather despondent nanny. To be fair his upbringing was, easy if lonesome, at least at first. However it came to pass that after a deal gone wrong that his parents did not come home loaded down with ill gotten coin. In fact they didn't come home at all. In their place however came debtors and investigators looking into the now known corruption within his family. Hwyn himself was held for a time for Questioning where it was debated whether he would be sold or otherwise used to pay off incurred debts of his now dead parents, regardless of what was decided however it was obvious that his easy life had come to an end
