Magical Abilities: [What magic do they hold, if at all?] Power over fire of any type, whether it be magical or not. Can manipulate and create fire.

Special Techniques: Flaming fist - Makes a glove of flames and then using this he punches, its heat is sometimes strong enough to melt crude and cheap metals.

Backstory: Raises by humans, Gimli was different from the start. His foster family messed up from the beginning, because after having read the note that lay next to him when they found him, they screwed up the ordering of his name. Thranduil, is his true first name, but seeing as his “family” messed up in that, Thranduil became his surname, and they gave him the name of Gimli. The note was then burned, and with it, Thranduil’s only tied to his true bloodline.

(FOR THE PURPOSE OF MAKING IT EASIER FOR BOTH ME, THE WRITER, AND YOU, THE READER, FROM NOW ON I SHALL REFER TO THRANDUIL AS THE REST OF THE WORLD KNOWS HIM, AS GIMLI…) Gimli was raised as a human child, but he quickly proved his foster parents otherwise, as he could already walk and talk at the age of 1. His parents, not knowing that their adopted son was an elf, but guessing that he was one because of his ears, decided to send him to a school of magic, because they believed that all elves do magic, and nothing else.

At this school, it was found that he had an affinity for fire-related magic. So they focused his curriculum towards the aspects of fire. They even sent him to learn magic from a member of the Fox Bloodline, which helped Gimli greatly. At the age of 32 Gimli left the school of magic, because there wasn’t anything else that they could teach him, as he had excelled at every task that his teachers and mentors had given.

For forty-something years Gimli had been traveling the world, earning his keep doing magic and by working as a mercenary. Forty-six years. Now Gimli wants a change, an adventure of his own perhaps. But for that he needs others, therefore others he shall have to find. He advertises himself as a Sorcerer, and as a mercenary.

Relations: None really, as he has long outlived them. He is however hoping to make some new friends throughout his adventures.
