Current Dilemma: Is extraordinarily talented at working in the smith, but aside from moments when he's caught in a creative mood, he hasn't the least desire to become a smith, much to his master's frustration. Mateo's dream is to become an adventurer who sees the world and rescues those in distress, and this does not include being constricted to the forge.

His Master, who holds his apprenticeship. Miruin bought him at a young age from starving parents in a starving village, taught him to read and write, and how to work in the forge. Mateo has no idea if Miruin holds any affection for him in the least bit, as Miruin is rather surly and unsociable at best, but Mateo views him as a father figure.

A girl he met once, in the blacksmith's shop. With her werewolf nature unknown to him, her wild behavior startled him, and he views their meeting in a mix of bewilderment and mild guilt.

Apron

A piece of clothing that is usually worn by an artist or chef that keeps their cloths clean while they work.

Backpack

A hardy pack, with two straps that allow it to be worn on one's back. It's ideal for carrying supplies while on the move.

Blacksmith Tools

A handy kit of simple blacksmiths tools: Anvil, forge, tongs, hammer, chisels, and rods to hammer out and craft tools. Warning: some of these tools are not (that) portable!

Boots

Simple, sturdy footwear, usually made of leather.

Common Trousers

Sometimes called pants, this garment is worn on the lower body, and covers the legs. These trousers are long and extend down to the ankles.

The pages in this bound book are blank, allowing the owner to use it to keep a record of their thoughts and activities.

Mining Tools

A set of simple tools to help someone mine for minerals. Consists of a pickaxe, heavy duty hammer, chisels, and other various tools a miner may find himself in need of.

Used to sharpen objects.

A simple sword of steel construction. Serviceable, if not exceptional.

Lacriamium

A silvery blue metal with diamond like properties. It was once strong chains created by the Goddess Angela to hold back the Goddess Dalanesca. Now the metal has all but lost it's magical properties but is still the strongest metal in all of Revaliir.
