Bronze is… large. Like ridiculously large. Well over 7' and 400 pounds of lean muscle. He carries a huge stone hammer, stolen of course, and on his left hand where a wedding ring would be is the ghost of a ring. Very difficult if not impossible to see until he gets angry. Then it shimmers into life. The rainbow stone.
Bronze often acts bumbling and stupid. But if you see him appearing drunk or just clumsy watch closely as he examines the reactions of those around him. He carries a large purse at his side and can often be heard slurring and singing happily in whatever haunts the local thieves are most likely to be. His favorite hobby is to pretend to let someone rob him even as he steals from them. Many have "stolen" his purse over the years, all have been disappointed to find his purse filled with worthless things that clink, while their own purses, extra weapons and occasionally even their shoes are now gone. When he wants he can move as silently as a ghost and he'll often follow his marks to see their reaction and, with any luck, find a gang they associate with an entire assemblage of people who desperately need to be relieved of the burden of their money!
He has, over the years stashed money all across the lands, usually close to larger cities for emergencies. Which often involve children or just young people down on their luck. His favorite rescues are those sold into slavery or worse still, prostitution.
Now, if you ask him, he'll deny everything save his love of money. And if you spend any time around him you're likely to believe him. He skips out on paying, lets his new "friends" wake up to a huge bill and a very annoyed inn or barkeep. In short he hates spending money on anything he doesn't consider important. Couple that with the fact that he loathes others greed, thievery and general in-humanity and you find a nice, humble, simple man. Which also makes him a soft mark for those who pay attention. And if you're one of those you must ask yourself. Is stealing from someone with no ties, no need for a job and nothing to keep him from spending years tracking you down worth it? The truth is that occasionally it actually is. If someone he truly cares for, steals from him. He'll often let that go.
But each time he grows a bit more callous, suspicious and bitter. These days his bitterness has begun to push him almost past the point of helping anymore. Maybe it's true, people who need help, don't actually deserve it.
