Personality: Jayden is very mischievous. He is also a tiny bit arrogant and flirtatious. But yet he's sweet despite his pride. He pulls pranks but is also curious about the world and likes to know more. He's also very creative and is often thinking. Jayden has a need to be influential, attract attention and recognition. He is imaginative, playful, and has a wealth of ideas.

Jayden was born in a small village in the Corval Basin near the Virens Forest with his human mother and his elven father. His mother felt awful because she couldn't provide for her son the life she'd always dreamt for him. So when he was only a babe, his mother set out across a long journey across the continents seeking a fortune. His mother's name was Naetia. Jayden's father, Gerian stayed home and raised Jayden. However it was difficult seeing as he had to not only run the farm by himself but also had to take care of all the children. For Jayden was not the only one of his family. In fact he was the youngest of seven. So with all these children it was difficult for Gerian to be able to handle everything on his own while Naetia was gathering a fortune. Luckily Gerian had the eldest brother, who was at the age of seven then to help with the other kids. A year passed and Naetia returned with jewels and riches. Then she stayed the next year.

Then the next year after that she returned to adventuring. Every other year Naetia would go out traveling and hunting for gold. Of course she would still return for holidays and birthdays yet her heart had be captured in adventure. Gerian was the opposite, he was gentle calm and liked staying at home. He also loved children and the everyday life. Growing up Jayden had always known what it was like to wear hand me downs and be the last. They had a large house and plenty of kids to fill that house. After all they did have seven sons! Each son was born a year apart from each other. With so many kids and mostly one parent, it was difficult for Jayden to stand out. So in order to get attention he misbehaved. He would always be up to something whether it was pranking somebody or learning magic for a little trick. However all his tricks were always harmless. Annoying sometimes but harmless. For he truly didn't want anybody to get hurt. When he was fifteen he discovered his talent for instruments and magic.

It was during a festival that Jayden discovered his talent for musical instruments and singing. He was hopping around and dancing to the musician's instruments at the festival when one of the musicians allowed him to play. Jayden took the lute and began playing a sweet melody. The musician, named Kila was impressed by his talent. So she made him her apprentice, with his parent's permission of course, and lessons began. At first it was one of the hardest things he had to do. First of all he had to just sit there and play with the lute. He could do that for short amounts of time but didn't have the patience to do it for a long time. Kila made him sit and practice basic movements over and over. Day in and day out. Jayden just felt like he didn't have the patience for this sort of thing. Besides he wanted to be an awesome adventurer like his mother. Not some silly bard! So he quite lessons after the second week, fed up with his teacher and the lute. But Kila forced him to at least take the lute home with him. On the way home Jayden was walking through the forest when he came across a fierce wolf. Jayden quickly ran but the wolf was catching up to him. Then Jayden got an idea. He grabbed his lute, prayed his plan would work, then began to play to tame the beast. Jayden, thanks to his lessons, played even more beautiful than the first time and the wolf left him alone. Jayden survived! He was so elated and hugged his dear lute. He was far from being a perfect bard but now he understood why a bard could be an adventurer. So he want back to Kila and begged her to let him be her student again. Kila let him be her student but from now on he needed to give all his effort to the lessons and becoming a great bard. Jayden accepted.

A year past and Jayden had become talented at the lute. But there was something missing. Jayden discovered what that was when an old man was performing magic at a show. Jayden adored seeing the magic and the idea of it sounded amazing. So he went up to the old man and asked him to teach Jayden magic. The old man refused. So the next day Jayden asked. The old man refused. Jayden then asked the next day. The old man finally said yes. But in exchange for teachings the old man wanted Jayden to play for him on an instrument every day. So Jayden accepted and learned magic. The old man got to listen to music everyday. Another year past and Kila revealed that she had been pretending to be the old man. She did part time magic and disguises for a friend's show. When Jayden first asked her, when she was in the old man's disguise, she said no since she wasn't who she looked to be. She eventually said yes though because she wanted to make sure he was practicing and seeing how far he could get with another skill. Kila claimed she was proud of him and that there was no more that she could teach him.

"You need to get better teaching than I can give you. Life will be your teacher now." Kila said before leaving the village.

Jayden was determined after hearing that. And his mother Naetia had just retired from adventures but was urging all her sons to go out on their own adventures. So that's just what they all did. Each brother had their own adventure. Jayden set his sights out to learn more, gain treasures, and to become a hero just like in the legends of old. He was ready for his own adventure!
