Biography:

Nessus was conceived in the City of Karith, from a union of a Human woman and an Elven man. Both of his parents came from wealthy backgrounds and were devout followers of Naota, and the two had sought to give their child the best they could. As such, Nessus has had a head start before many of his peers, which was most apparent in the education he had received. But as he had matured, his needs and questions had overcome his parents' capabilities, and he was quick to search for answers in places they would deem unsafe for their child. During his pursues, he had fallen in love in one of the girls from the Kingdom's suburbs - however, having taken notice of her questionable upbringing, the parents had taken every step they could to keep the two apart, going even as far as purchasing her family's assets and forcing them to move - which had ultimately resulted in them falling out.

Nessus was quick to despise his parents for their actions, and Naota as well, for he believed him to had led them to their harsh rule over him. He had gone on a rebellious streak, where he would turn to study literature about Xunatar, eventually turning to him and directing to him his prayers in secret, hoping to regain what he has been missing out on. Later on, having come of age, he would enlist in the Kingdom's army, something his parents had feared much - however, at this point they were in no position to stop him. It was there where he took basic combat training with a variety of weapons, as well as the art of pugilism. He had neglected his studies on the realm's vile deity in favour of advancing his position within the Army, eventually reaching the point where he would be in command of a number of subordinates.

To the few of said subordinates he had selected himself, he preached the teachings of Xunatar, referring to his then-limited knowledge. Lured either by promises of power or otherwise manifested fortune, they were keen to follow him wherever he pleased. During a number of armed conflicts his Army had, Nessus had led his group into skirmishes, which concluded with war atrocities of various sorts - presumably to aid his cause to please Xunatar with sacrifices while his team had been either following him or helping their own material needs. His superiors were quick to catch up onto his deeds and to imprison him, having stripped him of his accolades. His endeavours had not come to stop there, however. He continued preaching to his fellow inmates. It is uncertain whether the King of Nightfall had been flattered with what he had made up to cover up his lackluster knowledge, impressed by his charisma, or had left him on his own despite his efforts, but Nessus had successfully turned them to his cause, eventually sparking a riot, which concluded in a sizable for the limited space within a prison complex melee, during which he had escaped.

Shortly after he would make use of the contacts he had made earlier on to arrange his exodus to the continent of Canelux, where he could pursue his strive for power in peace.
