All About Prigka Brir-Ludwin
Character Name: Prigka Brir-Ludwin
Age: 22
Height: 5'1" ft / 1.54 m
Weight: 104 lbs. / 47 kg
Gender: Female
Race: Half-Orc
Appearance: Prigka has the appearance of a pint-sized, elfin woman, easily mistaken for a teenager as her actual age. Very short dark brown locks, silted brilliant orange eyes, and a light olive skin. She has a cute button nose and a natural pout, pixie-like ears, and rather thick eyebrows for a girl. Her orcish canines are rather small, only barely poking out from her upper lips, but still noticeable. Her ears have multiple earrings and studs, and she wears a small braid on her left side. Her outfit consists of a brown traveling cloak, simple brown boots and trousers, a faded green tunic, leather vest, gloves and belt to match, and a chain mail undershirt for actual defense. She also has a helmet signifying her status as a guard, but she rarely dons it.
Magical Talents: While not a prodigy by any means, Prigka is far from magically deficient. While advanced spells such as summoning a blizzard or conjuring a guardian angel elude the sentry, she knows the basics and can use them to their fullest effects. Her rudimentary spells pared with her impish nature make her a crafty, yet unassuming challenge to overcome.
Still early into her magical learning, Prigka needs to perform hand motions as well as needs to go off of a spoken incantation in order to get the ball rolling. Arcane spell-slinger she is not, using her magic as an enhancement of her already-present ability instead of the backbone of her strategy.
Personality: The main thing to note about Prigka is that she's a fairly decent person. Years of, admittedly forced, security have left her a hopeful, emotional, chatty ball of green skin and teeth. At a glance, she is a well-meaning lady who is rather oblivious of her faults and completely resigned and comfortable with her place and lot in life. Given a fair existence as a house slave, Prigka has a fondness for children and animals, and a talent for cooking, sewing, reading and writing.
Prigka is a loquacious, vocal girl who finds it just as easy to befriend others as to turn them away with an overbearing nature. She'll stick her nose in other's business to distract herself from her own without a second thought and fail to talk her way out of the holes she digs herself into.
Prigka picks her battles candidly, and remembers those who wrong her. Fighting got her her limp leg and she'll rarely put herself into a position where she's to come into danger or opposition. Or, at least, she's more likely to choke than to accomplish something when in those situations.
History: Prigka spent her entire childhood being passed around from city to city in the Plains of Bohar, born into slavery before settling into an indoors position in a western fiefdom. She has no knowledge of her parents besides her father was a Human and her mother was an Orc from one of Bohar's greenskin tribes. In the settlement, Prigka learned to sew, cook, read, write, and take care of noble children. While she didn't enjoy being a drudge, the Half-Orc took comfort from her work and the other greenskin slaves around her. The girl was valued for her looks and rarely spent any time outdoors. She ate well, she stayed relatively out of trouble, she befriended the Human children her age. Things weren't good, but they were okay.
The curious thing about a fiefdom, however, is it's beholden nature to a feudal lord. Bodies were needed for the King's army, and Prigka's Lord was hard-pressed to make up that quota entirely with slaves. He needed his actual warriors here, after all.
Despite the lack of training or willingness to head the King's call, Prigka was sent to war. While she wasn't particularly good at war, or fighting in general, there was no place to go. There was just general mistrust for her skin and a disappointment in her combat ability before she was put on a horse and sent into a conflict. Not that she would see much combat. One volley of arrows is all it would take for her steed to go down and roll onto Prigka's lower half.
It's unknown if the injury was permanent, but the limp stuck around. Conveniently enough, she was given rather lax patrols all around Canelux until her right leg recovers.
