All About Bianca di Giovanni
Character Name: Bianca di Giovanni
Age: 24
Height: 5'2" / 157 cm
Weight: 172 lbs / 78kg
Gender: Female
Race: Human
Appearance: Bianca almost always wears her chestnut hair up in a neat ponytail, some bangs framing her round face. While the loose strands cover her rather large forehead, her dazzling brown eyes and wide open grin are paired with a rather flat nose, a gap in her teeth, and quite thick eyebrows and lashes for a woman. Her build is in-shape, and that shape is round. Never one to skip a meal or forgo seconds, Bianca definitely has some weight to her stride. All in all, she considers herself to be wholly bland.
Weapon of Choice: Bianca's only offensive capabilities, besides two meaty fists and crocodile tears, comes from an enchanted paintbrush, imbued with magic to make it's artist's painting real. The hardiness of said paintings, if used in a combat situation, directly relate to how long someone has spent on a construct. If all else fails, it can be used as an extremely rudimentary and ineffective blunt weapon, running the risk of looking like a tantruming child.
Armor of Choice: None. Bianca's clothing barely protect her from windchill, let alone an arrow. That aside, something should be noted about the girl's fashion sense. It's atrocious. A pastel green wool beret to signify her trade as a professional paint-doer, a frilly tunic-dress-whatever with clashing red and blue, white gloves because gloves are elegant, and warm stocking to throw in another unneeded splash of color.
Magical Talents: Bianca, on her own, is completely inept in the field of magic. Her constructs come purely from Spectrum, the magical brush she wields. She doubts she'd have the patience for magic, anyways.
Personality: Bianca has an irresistible, child-like charisma and the air of an incorrigible spirit, devoting her entire life to feeling good and making sure others feel the same. Whether it's her overzealous and exuberant devotion to her artwork or the energy and time she'll spend making sure someone else is feeling just as excited as herself, Bianca loves to be an entertainer, and is surprisingly observant and sharp as long as something can hold her attention. She won't hold back, she'll throw tradition and legacy aside to go against the grain, all while refining her own distinct aesthetic.
Focusing on the here and now, Bianca has a habit of avoiding anything that isn't immediately gratifying, such as pesky responsibilities or conflict, and will easily give an arm and a leg to walk free from binding authority. It's easy for the girl to feel like she's cornered or attacked by criticism with an overbearing and emotional nature, making it hard to address any faults of her own. Bianca, more than is healthy or secure, lives day to day. Long-term planning is just a term she doesn't believe in, right up there with "act your age" and the word coincidence.
Backstory: Bianca di Giovanni was a surprise from birth. Her father was well into his seventies once she came into the world, and it happened out of wedlock with a mistress courtesan. By the time she was eight, the old man had gone on peacefully in his sleep, leaving his child without a home. With no known mother to claim responsibility for the girl, it was up to her extended family to step up.
Bianca found a home in Annibale di Giovanni, a small-time but potential-filled wizard and technically the small girl's niece, being the grandchild of her father. A sleepy, small tinkering neighborhood nestled in Karith territory and a small magician's shack is where most of her childhood memories lay, from helping around the house to getting into trouble with the local curmudgeonly engineers, to get positively wowed by the big-time adventurers that would pass through. She had a bed, a bathroom, and she never went hungry, but the girl never found much more than that living with Annibale. Middle-class living, it was decent stuff.
That is, nothing much more than Spectrum, the enchanted paintbrush that never leaves the girl's side now. A gift born of love and hundreds of silvers of savings to surprise Bianca on her seventeenth birthday. With the last five years passing by with little more than minor scuffles and problems, she had plenty of spare time to home her skill with the magical tool, giving her a reputation of a conjuror of fluctuating skill. It's unclear what the girl would want to do with her life besides change the world with her paintings, unsure if she should just pack up and leave in search of some sort of adventure or wait for something exciting to happen, but Bianca di Giovanni has been itching to jump off of Karith for a while now, wanting to see the world. Inspiration for her artistic outlets.
