All About Bishu

Bishu, name meaning "Little", is a Kemnebi child, adorned with the markings of a black leopard and a warm, amber gaze. As his name implies, Bishu is much smaller than most Kemnebi his age, but what he lacks in size, he makes up for in enthusiasm. The anthropomorphic cat wears the clothes of a merchant, though he is not as skilled as his brother, Shurh'do. He also bears an amethyst sharpened to be his necklace, though he isn't aware of the accessory's origin. Traveling is all the cub knows, and regardless of Bishu being nomadic, he's always attempting to make friends wherever he goes. Despite losing his family at an early age, he has a surprising amount of attachment and trusts quite easily, leaving Bishu vulnerable to the greed of others. This is likely because the cub was not yet old enough to be deeply affected by the deaths of his family and peers. However, with his brother's protection, Bishu's naivety has yet to grab him by the scruff like their scornful mother once did. Back in their village, during the bandit raid that stole a majority of his family from him, the cub's back was burned as a fire broke out, though he was rescued by Shurh'do before the flames engulfed his small being entirely. Bishu now self consciously carries a scar from the base of his tail to his nape, and does his best to conceal it. Should it be revealed, a less optimistic side of the Kemnebi emerges, and Bishu could possibly withdraw from whoever witnesses in shame. Because he does not know much about his history, the cub fears the scar as a part of himself that he's also oblivious to.
